      This company let my husband and I go 25 hours w/out heat back in November...I had just brought my husband home from the hospital, he had a stroke...Had to borrow space heaters from friends..They told us to go ahead and hire our own technician and they would refund us the money....I sent them since November 2 copies of the bill ************** filled out, an itemized bill stating everything wrong with the furnace, the service call and cost of what was needed...They claim not to have received anything from us yet the address I gave them is correct...My husband is trying to re cuperate and the furnace will cost us quite a bit. We are seniors and on Social Security ONLY....I keep getting someone in a call center (I am positive that is where they are) and they keep saying "sorry" we understand and I know they just don't care...I need help on getting them to cooperate with us and stop lying....about not receiving our bill that I have sent twice...What can we do about this and get them to ok the amount of the bill...I can't get it fixed if I am not going to get our money back...We really need help. Thank you...

      0 stars. Avoid them. Paid extra for spetic tank and guess what I go to file a claim and its denied. It doesnt cover pump, in the little terms it basically says it doesnt cover any of it. How is it that companies can get away with this. I really dont get it. Its mind blowing, after hours being on with customer service I have gotten no where. The reps know nothing, except the script that basically says your screwed and it doesnt matter whats wrong with it, we arent covering it. Avoid them, find someone locally to help you with your is***s, because these companies are a scam. Anyone want to team up and *** the c*** out of them?!

      Dont use them unless you like giving them your money and do nothing. Put claim if for a electric problem and they sent someone out for. $100.00 to tell me it was the breaker . But did not have one. Couple months later fold again for the service panel. They first sent a company out to look at it and another $100.00 to tell me it was bad and told them it was bad. Well guess they did not like that as the resided to send another electrician out, this one said it was cause by water or moisture, its in the basement, do you think theres humidity in the basement? So now they got there guy to say it is not covered and you lose. Three people looked at it and three different things ? They look at pictures.       Ive had HWA for 7 years. In the past, they provided prompt response and repairs/service. Hot water heater went out over Thanksgiving weekend. Ive called them every day since initial claim. Always routed to ***** or similar country. ONE LIE AFTER ANOTHER. Finally 10 days later, I have cancelled contract and we will repair ourselves. They now push for the insured to find a technician, for the technician to get approval and then the insured pay and file reimbursement paperwork to be reimbursed for covered charges. HA HA HA! I can only imagine how much they would ever reimburse the insured. Besides, finding a technician to go through HWA is a a joke. Avoid this business at all costs.

      HWA Policy was ending so decided not to review. Told the sales rep not interested. They keep repeatedly calling, totally ignoring that I said not interested. This goes on for a couple of months.I then get an email saying your policy has now switched to auto enrollment from your credit card on file.. Seriously? I did not authorize that. This is totally deceptive and illegal practices.

      This company is the worst Id advise no one to go with this company I called them November the 7 2022 about my plumbing and no one still havent came out to fix my plumbing both bathrooms are backed up we have to go to family members home to wash take a bath and use the toilet Ive called just about everyday a manager called me back once still nothing got fix they keep saying their waiting on a contractor if you dont have no one I feel they should call some local plumbers in our area and pay them to fix it their open 24/7 like Roto-Rooter Here it is November 29 ************************************************************************************************************************************** no priority if they new better they would do better the worst I would never recommend this company

      Per their renewal policy notification that i received thru email last year there is a statement that says your plan will automatically renew unless you call.. I have been calling the 888, 833 and 224 numbers, since they already know that i would like to cancel the policy nobody is answering the call or calling me back. Basically i do not think it is fair that the only means to cancel is thru phone call where nobody will pick up. They are best at calling to solicit you but worst at providing fair customer service.

      I am a home owner that chose to keep a home warranty as security in case anything should happen in my home. Every time I file a report there is an issue. Either they cant find a professional or they cant do anything. I have been having issue recently with my plumbing and was told things were covered, after going through two plumbing companies diagnosing the issue they said it was covered and approved only to find out discrepancies from different reps. I called department to appeal the denial and was told straight out oh your issue is not covered!! What issue.? She wouldnt even explain what or why its not covered. The first rep says, its not normal wear and tear the other rep says its not in the policy. I am frustrated that they will cover the part but not for the company to fix the problem! I have had this policy for three years since I purchased my home and this company does not give me security or a peace of mind and I will be finding a new company. And by way, I have the premium package. Unsatisfied customer!!!!!!!

      I've had HWA for several years. Early on my hot water heater needed replacement, things seemed to go well, it worked until recently. Recently it broke at the top, water came out, heater dead. I filed a claim. The plumber they sent indicated that the original installation did things wrong to the plumbing around it which he would have to fix. *** tells me that even though they did the original faulty installation, they will charge me an additional $300 to service the claim because of the modifications needed to correct the issues the plumber found. Talking to the person at HWA, they said making people pay for these things was a new policy they had (despite no contract wording changes she could point to to support it) and if I wanted to get them to have someone else talk to the plumber to try to negotiate the costs the whole thing would be put on hold for several days. She made it clear that HWA policy was to charge me for any fixes regardless, it was just whether the fixes were needed. Continuing to order the new water heater while escalating the ticket to investigate added costs was not an option.
