      DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY ,THEY ARE SCAMMERS..THEY WILL NOT PAY FOR NOTHING THAT NEEDS REPLACEMENT THEY WILL HAVE EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE ...IF I COULD OF GIVEN ZERO STAR'S I WOULD OF...WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!

      ZERO - ************ is HORRIBLE!!! We filed a claim as our hot water heater went out almost 3 weeks ago. They were contacted and sent a technician out by the name of *************************** @ ***-***-****. He deemed that the water heater non-repairable and stated he would submit the claim to HWA. We were issued a claim # of *******. We heard nothing after that. Later in the week, we called to check the status and we were told that they were waiting on ***** to submit the specifications of the water heater before it would be approved. We then contacted ***** and he stated that he had submitted the specifications on three different occasions. Called HWA back and was told again that they couldn't do anything until they received the specifications. Advised customer service rep that we wanted to speak to a manager and was told that they couldn't transfer the call, that a manager would have to call us back. Of course no return call was made. The following week, call was placed and we were told then that they there system was down so they couldn't look at the specifications that were needed in order to order the hot water heater and authorize purchase so technician could go and pick it up. Another week went by and still no communication from HWA. Called on Friday and was told that now the hot water heater was on backorder and it would be the 26th before it would arrived. Called 9/27/2022 and was told that they didn't understand what had happened to it and they would look into it. No call returned. Called today 9/28/22 and we were told that they are looking and looking for this hot water heater and don't know where it is. We then asked where was the tracking # and they are now claiming that this "shipment" of a hot water heater doesn't have a tracking # which we all know is a complete lie. Every shipment always has to be affiliated with a tracking # or some kind of reference #. We are now 3 weeks w/o hot water heater and all we are getting is the run around!

      Don't fall for it. They will weasel out of paying every time. They won't let you choose someone local and inexpensive, they go with the most expensive company that has to drive across state and then still weasel out of paying. And now that my plan with them has expired, they call non-stop. I have told them multiple times to stop calling but it's still happening multiple times a day.

      This company harasses you. I have asked 5 seperate times via email and phone to be taken off of their calling / text lists and they refuse. I get calls weekly asking for me to renew my warranty and start service again with them after I have told them NO repeatedly.You should not do business with them.I wish I could leave a 0 star

      I have had HWA for a few years now and have had several ******************* now a leak was discovered in my shower pan that is leaking onto my downstair neighbors ceiling. I have requested to have the same plumber come that replaced my tankless. I was told that they were no longer an authorized vendor. ******************** went ahead and did the paperwork required.I just called HWA and was told that a plumber has been assigned to me and that I can't change it. That's not what my plumber was told when they did the paperwork and is now an authorized vendor. WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!I just want a good job done. I live in Fl and mold can be a big issue. This **************** guy was a jerk.

      After moving one year ago I had Home Warranty of America (HWA) that was purchased when I bought my house to cover problems in my home.I started having back up drainage in my basement and called HWA It has been just about one month now and I have called many times to see when a technician was coming out. They finally sent someone. Someone came out 9.02.22 said it could be fixed and collected $75.00 for service fee and on 9.05.22 I rcvd. a cancelation from *** saying the technician wouldn't be able to do the job.After more calls it was reassigned to another handyman to come out Sept. 17th between 9-3:00. I called on the 16th to affirm the appt. Said yes, about 1:00 IStayed home all day with a NO -show. I called 9.19.22 and told would come out himself and would call me at 2:30. NO CALL and NO SHOW..I have to go to the laundromat with a 2 and 6 year old. My 16 y.o has to go to a neighbors for showers. Dish water hauled out in buckets to dump.Bathroom requires going elsewhere.*** said I could hire someone and they would reimburse me. No trust, they have lied to many times.

      Do not purchase a Home Warranty from them .They will fight tooth and nail against your claim and they will create a loophole to make sure you never get compensated. Worst customer service , no guidance , very broken English when you do try to talk to them and then they tell you there is no manager to help with your case . No manager ? I believe its a very falsified Company making money off people who think their getting reassurance on their new home .

      This is a terrible company. I would give it negative stars if I could. They made me pay for services that were not done to fix my air conditioner. Problem is they wouldn't fix it under the warranty unless I paid for the itemized repairs they said weren't covered under the plan. After the repairs were made, I sent them a dispute as outlined in the contract to resolve the matter with them. However, like the unprofessional company they are, I never received a response. They will now have a chance to respond to the lawsuit I will be filing against them for their fraud and breach of contract.

      Utterly ridiculous. *** has been harassing me to renew my home warranty which was paid by the seller of the house I acquired a year ago. Multiple phone calls, emails, text messages, letters and lastly an email stating they were going to begin drafting my bank account monthly! I responded to their phone calls, texts and emails saying I wasn't renewing yet they kept coming at me. I placed a phone call to them today and after multiple transfers from one ***** to another I finally reached the cancellation ***** and of course, they wanted to know why I didn't want to renew. I have received an email from them confirming cancellation. Still going to my bank to see if there is a way to assure *** can't draft my account. Should be a 0 star but not an option.

      I recently had my AC go out. HWA per their advertisement says if they cannot fix the problem, they will replace the item. Why did I have to pay $4770.00 while *** only paid an estimated $2800.00 to get my AC fix. This company is not a warranty company you want to deal with because once you put in a claim, they have all types of restrictions (that is not in the contract) that they use to not completely repair your item. I will not use this company ever again. Another item of concern it that Home Warranty of America is part of Choice warranty which is one of the worst warranty companies in America. When talking with customer representatives ***, *********************, they were very rude and unprofessional while dealing with me, sometimes it sounded like they were hostile. Based on this, I chosen to go with another warranty Cinch which have a better warranty at a lower price. This is from my experience and opinion dealing with ***.
