      I would rate negative if allowed! This company takes your money, month after month. Yet, upon service needed they will give you the run around. You run in circles with requests on uploading invoice over and over. They have multiple technicians sent out to your home (obviously no communication) You get placed on hold for lengthy periods of time. We have been without AC services for a month and a half, ohhh but they are quick to to taking your money every month!

      This is the worst home warranty in *****************, I had a bad stove leaking gas into my home, they charged me $75 to send out a service Tech that told the stove cant be fixed. When I called back when I had the funds they said claim not active charged me $75 again! When I went to buy a stove this home warranty would not answer the phone mean while I still had to pay a company to shut off my gas. Now I been on hold for 1 hour 36 mins to talk to a supervisor crazy right? If you are reading this and have issue please email gtraylor24gmail.com join my case with the lawyers this more issue we can add the better!

      STAY AWAY FROM HWA!! I have 3 policies with them for three different properties. Each time I've called for service I got the run around. HWA will do everything to stall, delay and not provide the service that's on their home warranty agreement. Horrible service. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

      One star is to much, this is a fraudulent company that doesnt do the one thing that are happy to sell you home warranty. TL is the worst employee locally and doesnt care about HWA customers. South ***** with no AC from june to tbd after having three of their contractors come five times is either malfeasance in contractors or a deliberate stall tactic to avoid their responsibility and their obligation to their customers. If your realtor offers HWA, i would ask them why they want to see you fail and be unhappy. My realtor has seen this first hand and has done things to help on their own that is far more then what HWA has done. They have even vowed to never use them again at the agency level. HWA is the worst. In comparison ****** was a great guy vs HWA service.

      ****************** claim # ******* Horrible warranty company. I will never recommend!! Claim Date 2022-05-31 15:58:46 Air condition not cooling *** sent ******************************* out-they determined I needed a new outside unit for my York A/C. *** gave ******************************* and myself 2 different reasons as to why they would not allow them to replace my unit. # 1 not York dealer #2 ******************************* refused to warranty the new unit. on 06/09/2022 my claim was reassigned to Lymuels ************ LLC for an appt on 06/13/2022. Lymuels ************ LLC never showed on 06/13/2022. I called and texted them several times with no response. I called and messaged *** about Lymuels ************ LLC not showing up. 5 days later on 06/17/2022 my claim was reassigned to ROLANDS A/C &Heating who said nothing was wrong with the outside A/C unit. I had just bought this house 08/2021. I had the attic re-insulated in April 2022. I am guessing that in the process of the re-insulation my duck work was knocked and it pulled away from the unit (which was not visible when just looking at the unit) I was told then on 06/18/2022 that due to the limitations of the *** policy I no longer qualified for a replacement up to ***** for a new A/C unit. The limitations qualified for ****** due to failures resulting from an improper installation. The balance of $3250 will be due to the technician for the repairs for new duck work. ARE THEY CRAZY!! Well on 07/13/2022 my A/C unit that was "working correctly" stop working. I had to pay out of pocket to have my A/C unit replaced. Please do not use this company. Do your research before purchasing any home warranty plans.

      0 stars only. My policy is scheduled to expire this month. I have been receiving calls since the last couple of months to renew. I have declined renewal every time they have called. Despite that, I continue to get calls for a renewal.Today I got an email from HWA that the company is enrolling me for auto renewal. I have declined this online again. I want to stop this company from bothering me again.

      My home has been covered with HWA for several years, and we contained to use them because the 2 past owners of our home also used them, so all together the our home been with them for over 15 years. I did find out found that Choice Home Warranty acquired certain assets of Home warranty of America and they have no past history of prior home repairs. I filed a claim with HWA because our AC was not cooling. We have owned our home for the last 8 years, never had an issue. I had the repair person come out 3 times because everything he did was not fixing the issue. We found out from the information provide to us from the same repair person that the unit was a 2009, it was worn out, rusting from a chemical reaction that is caused by the aluminum backing and the ****** coils, aluminum and coper together cause a chemical reaction cause rust, he also commented on how manufacturers have since realized this. The last visit he decided to do a level test and said he found the pan that the unit sits on to be unlevel. I received a message from HWA that my claim would not be warranted because my unit was improperly installed, mind you the unit is a 2009 and we are in 2022 AND had never had an issue with in the prior 8 years! I did follow the appeal process and was assigned to a case manager and was able to finely connect via phone. I asked how they determined that the unit was improperly installed after never having an issue with it in the 8 years I had owned the home. I pointed out that the unit was over 13 years old and that we had never had a prior issue. She was very rude and would only say that the repair person did a level test and found it to be off level and that meant it was improperly installed. I asked if there was another process I needed to go through to speak with another department/person to appeal, she said no she was the highest level and had the final decision, said we were over our 15 allowed min. and hung up. HWA and Choice Home Warranty are very much scammers!!

      I would give this company a zero if it was possible. Waiting since March 2022 for information on my claim. My claim was an emergency situation (leaking hot water tank in two places). Anyone familiar with this situation knows the tank could burst at any time flooding my finished basement. Needed assistance right away so I called nearest plumping company and got a new tank installed. HWA waited 5 months more of policy payments before I was informed (I had to call them) of the claim denial. NEW POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS read the reviews and go elsewhere. I canceled immediately.Judging by the reviews this company should be investigated by *********************** and Attorney General Offices throughout *****************. If any assistance is needed from these agencies I am available.

      This organization will not honor my request to place me on a do not call list. They call 2 to 3 times everyday, and I cannot get it to stop.I am filing a complaint at the *** and my State's Attorney General.

      I wish I could give them a 0, unfortunately there isn't an option. My complaint is in regards to the harrassing tactics they use to force your hand into renewing your contract. When I bought my home the seller purchased me a 1 year contract with this company and it now coming to an end. Initially, I was considering staying with them but after daily calls and emails, I was turned off. I have probably received a hundred calls and emails at this point. From the very first conversation with the representative I told her that i was unsure but I would contact them if I decided to stay. Several more calls later I eventually asked them to stop calling me. It then transitioned from live person calls to robocalls reminding me my contract was expiring, like I was unaware. I had to block/spam those call because there was so many, all the while still receiving daily emails. Then it turned into emails stating they were going to automatically renew my contract as a courtesy since they see it's coming to an end. I had to go online an opt out to cancel my service. I receive another email stating they are going to auto renew me again, but how when I already opted out???? The third one came this morning. At this point I have had enough, so much so I took time out of my work day to sit on hold to speak with a manager and give my complaint! I needed this to be noted in my account while simultaneously type this message on the BBB.
