      This company has no answers for me except keep paying the policy and it will get better! I have been a policy holder since 2021 when I bought my home. I submitted 2 claims that never were resolved. The latest was a leak under my home. I followed up and got different answers everytime. The last time I called the resolutions department said they issued a check to the plumber for the repairs and told me I should have called sooner to let them know it was not fixed. How is that my job? She then told me she would send the same ***** out to complete the job. I told her I did not want someone like that on my property. Then the manager ***** said all they could do was give me 2 free months and send the same guy out because he was already paid for the job.... Such a scam. He also said the questions I was asking were irrelevant and there is nobody above him he is the last person to talk to. So the only thing I could do is keep paying this horrible company, that has no answers for customers regarding customer service and quality of work

      Do not use them!! Our AC went out during the summer in *******, ** and it took them forever to get a technician out. We tried to bring our own knowing a hurricane was about to hit (*****) and we got told how do you know a hurricane is coming to you. Once the hurricane hit they told us we didnt have power so they couldnt come out, even though we told them we have a whole house gas generator connected to our house. We decided to cancel our policy and then two months later they charged us for their membership again. We tried to get a refund and they wont issue one, saying they dont issue refunds. They wont share phone records with us so we can prove they are lying to us. Their service members will hang up on you and be extremely rude to you. The company is a huge scam.

      They are crooks!!They left me without a washing machine for over 1 month! Im still waiting for it to be fixed. They took my money so quickly, but they seem to have no intention to actually help me. Its really sad!! And they never sent me a pdf of my contract! They send links to dead webpages! Do not use them!

      I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with Home Warranty of America regarding the denial of my recent claim related to my air conditioning unit, which has not been cooling effectively. I hold a Platinum coverage policy with your company, which explicitly includes coverage for Air conditioning issues.Despite the clear terms of my policy and a home inspection that confirmed the coverage of the issue at hand, my claim has been unjustifiably denied. I have been informed that the claim was closed due to my alleged failure to follow up, which I believe is not an accurate representation of the situation.The denial of coverage appears contradictory to the terms outlined in my Platinum coverage policy, particularly since it includes provisions for "Unknown Pre-Existing Conditions." Additionally, I find it concerning that Home Warranty of America is insisting that I pay for a consultant to assess the air conditioning system. This requirement seems unnecessary, given the clear coverage outlined in my policy and the findings of the home inspection report.I have made several attempts to resolve this matter directly with your customer service team; however, my efforts have been met with repeated refusals to escalate my concerns to a supervisor. This lack of responsiveness has left me feeling frustrated and without recourse.I respectfully request that Home Warranty of America reevaluate its decision regarding my claim and fulfill the contractual obligations as outlined in my Platinum coverage policy. I believe it is in our mutual interest to resolve this matter amicably, and I hope for a prompt response addressing my concerns.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your timely response.

      The WORST! Claim filed on 8/12/24 for A/C. 1st repair company no show / no call; 2nd company was great & I paid my $100 deductible. Submitted claim about motor replacement needed. Claim denied by *** due to assumption of dirt in outside unit & stating I did not maintain. The repair company gave me a statement that they never stated dirt or debris as cause for malfunction but *** denied anyway. After more than a month (9/24/24) without AC & having to live elsewhere, *** called to hear an appeal & stated they could not overturn the declined claim, but would give me $150 to help with cost. I also want to note that the repair company said they had 3 claims denied by *** for the same thing during this time. Unacceptable and *** refused to let me speak with anyone else to discuss further. I was told the ************ was the highest & he didnt know their company address or contact info but I could ****** it if I needed it.

      Purchased a HW policy back in 2019 and have recently found better coverage and better pricing with another company. Firstly, you can't cancel your policy online, you will have to call them (irritating) to have it cancelled. When you call their *****# they will pickup but will transfer you to their ****************** This is where the problem starts because you will get a **** who doesn't like to take NO for an answer. I was repeatedly put on hold for less than apparent reasons, which eventually led to me being ***** with the **** by stating I was gonna contact Corporate if they didn't just cancel my policy. Completely unnecessary interaction with the **** I feel like if I didn't like service I was getting from the new company, I would reconsider coming back to ***, but that's now out of the question. Customer first, Satisfaction always!

      This company is the worst! I have used them for 6 years. They use to be good. But when my hot water heater went out. They initially approved a replacement. But then gave me the run around. Stating Because I needed an 18 hot water heater, and not a 24 hot water heater. They needed to have it reapproved. And that the plumber had given them the wrong size. And that they were having trouble locating an 18 hot water heater. I contacted the plumber about this. He said I even gave them the part number and Those 18 water heaters are available and any hardware store. Said he had one in stock and could be out tomorrow to install it. At this point, we had been without hot water for 12 days. I contacted *** several times during this period. I got nowhere. *** was only going to pay about half of the cost to replace heater. So I decided to pay out of pocket. After waiting almost 2 weeks. I never heard anything back from ***. To make matters worse. They tried to enroll me in auto monthly payments, after the warranty term expired. I had no interest in renewing my contract with them. Luckily. The card they had on file had expired. Someone even called a few weeks before my contract was up, about renewing. Thats funny. No one ever called me back about my hot water heater. Do not do business with this company!!!

      Absolutely the WORST company for Home Warranty. We tried to file a claim to get our hot water heater fixed. They said they would have a repair person out within 24 hours. After 4 days of no hot water, we called to try and get a person to help send someone out. Continuously got the run around for why they couldn't get any one to service our hot water heater and told repeatedly I couldn't speak to a supervisor after asking multiple times for one. At one point they transferred me to Choice Home Warranty. After finally giving up and accepting the reimbursement offer, we waited a week, had our plumber submit the reimbursement report and it automatically got declined within minutes without an actual person even looking at the report! None of the reasons on the decline were actually valid or what was in the report! When we called they said we would have to file an appeal. This is one giant scam of a company. They will take your money, but will not do anything to fix a legitimate claim. DO NOT USE.

      Run as fast as you can away from this company. They will gladly take your money but fight you every step of the way when trying to file a claim. Ive had this so called service for 3 years, paying for the Diamond Plan. In those 3 years Ive filed two claims. One with a dryer that stopped heating. After two trips/attempts (32 days) to repair the dryer, the tech told me he couldnt fix it and it would need to be replaced. The company then proceeded to low ball the replacement cost, until I finally got a manager involved who told me the first ***** I spoke with was incorrect and they would pay for the replacement, which took another 3 weeks. The second claim was just a month ago when my heat pump stopped working during a stretch of 100 degree days. The house temp was 90 degrees. It took 4 calls from me to finally get an ***** to tell me they found a tech that could come out in a week. They sent me the contact info for the tech, and this guy was an aquarium contractor, specializing in AQUARIUMS! I called the guy and he said he had a lot of electrical experience, and he would come look at the heat pump, and if he could not fix it, he would get an HVAC guy on it. Seriously???!!! I told the guy to cancel the appointment, and Ill find a legitimate HVAC contractor myself.My contract with them expires at the end of August, and I will be signing with one of their competitors. I get emails and texts from *** weekly reminding me that my contract will be expiring, and I dont want to be without service, so call to renew today! If they would spend as much time, money, and effort in actually providing a service like they do in trying to get you to renew, they may have something. Dont hold your breath. Run!!!
