      Service Plus is a fraud! We filed to claims, only to have both denied after paying the service fee for the technician to tell us one thing and for Service Plus to deny the claim with another rationale that was inconsistent with the Technician's assessment. In one claim they tried to indicate the **** unit was improperly installed, event though we had an approved permit from the *****************. In the 2nd claim, the state the stove top had rust, so they couldn't cover the repair/replacement. Again, not what the Technician told us in person. At no point were they willing to provide the written assessment provided to them by the Technicians, even though we paid a service fee for the Technician to come to our home. I have filed a consumer complaint with the ** Attorney General and I recommend others do the same. We need to stop these fraudulent companies from operating and preying on the consumers.

      ServicePlus is a really bad company. My AC is out, and I called them 3weeks ago and have got nothing but the run around. They gave the job to a company called Keepe and they say there is no technician available. I dont know how that can be when there are hundreds of AC repair shops in my area. Looks like I will have to call my own tech to get it fixed. You call then and they say someone will get back to you, but that never happens. Soon As I get my AC fixed, I will fine some other company to use. I have been with this company for 3 years and never filed a claim with them. Do NOT do business with this company it is a rip off. I wish I knew someone to call to get something done.

      Nothing is covered under their warranty. The past two claims we filed we had to pay out of pocket. The contract says it covers AC repair, then lists every component an AC is made of under the not covered section. They have unknown numbers that no one answers or if they are answered, its the wrong number. Every time we called to check on a claim, they either couldnt find it in the system, couldnt help us, and absolutely couldnt cover a claim. Stay away from this trash company!!!

      This company is horrible. Phone number no longer works. Trying to track down a payment owed to me since July for the repair of my oven. Company said they would send me $350 to cover costs and now you cant even get ahold of them. I purchased 5 years of coverage and am only in year 1 1/2 . Out of coverage and out of $350 for repair.

      Total scam. Service Plus was unable to get an AC technician to my home all summer in 100 degree plus temperatures. They finally pre authorized $200 for me to secure my own repairs. I had a technician on site the same week who replaced capacitors on 2 AC units. When I filed for payment it was denied. When I called in for an explanation I was talked to in a very condescending tone as if I were a criminal trying to steal from their company. This company has no intention of paying claims. Once again, total scam.

      My air conditioner went out. It was 85 degrees in my house. They promised to send someone right out. After 2 days, no one came. I called back. They said it could be 2 weeks! I cancelled on the spot.

      My fridge was not working so i call and they said it cannot be fix so they will pay $300 that in July and I never receive the the check as yet and today is Sep 13 2023. I call and they said its **** weeks before I receive the check. The policy said 6-8 weeks . I try to cancel they said I will not receive the check if, I cancel the account has to be active

      Zero star, it's the worst company for Home Warranty. I had tried many but with Service Plus you will not get anything fixed. they will just find ways not to repair or replace your appliance and reps ***** the consumer after charging the service fee and not sending anyone. my AC/HVAC outer unit broke and they simply told me that is not covered without sending anyone to physically look at just based on the earlier visit. and for Microwave after waiting for 5 weeks they told me that they cannot repair it and offered $100 which I still have to receive it waiting for almost 2 months now. Zero customer service and most unprofessional **********************. do not fall into the trap.. even it cost little move please go with another Home warranty company out there.

      This is terrible company to deal with. I had an AC unit go out and was told it was going to take them 8 days before they could send a tech out to find out what the problems was. After contacting them and telling them I couldnt live in a house that was 90 degrees they sent me a form to find a local company to fix the unit. I was told the tech would have to call them to get approval to fix the unit which he did. They told the tech they would get in touch with me which they never did. When the tech got here I tried calling them to see if it had been approved. I was on hold for at least ************************************** I sent them a copy of the invoice which was $625.00 dollars. They contacted me the next day and said they only approved $205.00. They were supposed to pay for the full amount according to their contract. Do NOT do business with this company.

      For me, ServicePlus Home Warranty is no good. You will get absolutely nothing for your hard earned money. Save your money!! You will need it to pay to get your own repairs done even though you have this so-called warranty plan. I have submitted two claims *************** and had to pay out of pocket for both. It takes days before they get back to you. My toilet was leaking from the bottom, I turned off the water but after a week I found somebody to fix it who doesn't work for a company, so since I don't have an invoice they can't or won't reimburse me. Same with AC unit. Through friends I was able to find someone to fix AC during some of the hottest days in June. After days of not hearing anything, I called and was told they didn't have anybody in the are., I was informed that I could call someone and they would pay the allotted amount for item. I'm retired and on a fixed income, what if I don't have the total amount for a company plumber or AC person? I'm pretty sure they will want their money when they complete job, and not want to wait for a reimbursement which will probably take weeks, just like the claim process. I didn't find out that I couldn't cancel the contract until I called to complain about the first claim. The representative (***************************) made everything sound so good but it was all lies. I 'm just Praying that I don't I need ServicePlus anymore during contract period. Wasted money that I don't have. Y'all need to stop ripping people off! Please, everybody, just read the reviews, I sure wish that I had.
