      I joined the policy last year may. This sunday when I called in a claim for pipe stoppage I was assigned a technician who didn't call, accept calls. Three days later I called again and I was told that new technician will be assigned within 48 hours. Now 2 days later nothing no technician assigned and still waiting. The person who takes the call says sorry but you just have to wait until we find the available technician. There sales people neither take calls or reply to any email. They get their commission and gone. Just a horrible company I would not recommend. Worst part is no one to complain to not even on their website.. And they don't even responsd or reply to these reviews because they don't care and I hope that people trying to sign up read this and don't waste their time. Thanks!

      They are Con people. They lie to you about everything they they say they're going to do. Please Please don't trust them at all Terrible!!!!

      This company is not worth your time. I opened a claim for my wall oven. One of the ovens have stopped heating. The tech came to my house and made a diagnosis that the heating element needed to be replaced and that if the heating element was replaced that there maybe a need for the oven to be pulled out for the wiring to be replaced, which would require an additional person. Th warranty people approved for the heating element to be replaced and if an additional person was required, I would have to cover the expenses for the additional person. The tech came to my house on 8/21 with the element and found that the wiring to the oven was burnt through which was causing the oven not to work. I called Service Plus to give them an update to find that they are still only going to pay for the heating element because that is what was told to them that was the cause of the problem. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that I was speaking to the supervisor and that there was no one else I could speak to. I spoke with *************************** and she was very rude and never addressed my problem and every time I spoke, she spoke over me. No matter what I said, she was not willing to work with me. Everything was we have already approved the replacement of the element and nothing else will be covered. Wish i had read all of these reviews before I signed with them for myhome warranty service company. BIG MISTAKE

      Terrible company! They hold on to the money you are owed for months, tell you it's "processing". They don't monitor their contractors, have hidden options they don't tell their customers about, and when there's a dispute, they refuse to provide mediation, although it's clearly outlined in the contract. Don't be fooled!

      I feel scammed! I made two claims in both instances they did a video conference to diagnose my appliances. I still had to pay a $75 service fee which is fine but this is typically charged when someone physically comes to your home. They said my appliances were not repairable and offered me $200 for each claim. The claims were in January and in March 2023. I have yet to receive the checks and it is August 2023. Ive called more than 5 times to check the status. The **************** representatives say the check should be received in two weeks. The last representative said they use a 3rd party company that sends the checks and they dont know when it will be sent but went on to say I should have it in two weeks. This was in June.Dont expect them to actually fix your appliances.

      Terrible company. I can't give negative stars to this company but they do not deserve even a 0 star. They scammed me into buying their plan and when i filed a claim for a $2000 refrigerator and a 2 year old refrigerator, they said they can't fix it and offered me $400 for a replacement. I bought a new one for $2440. This happened at the start of summer and they said that they will send a check between 6 to 8 weeks which typically means after 8 weeks only. After 8 weeks they said that they will deliver the check on priority but the timeframe for priority is not defined and could take 6 to 8 weeks more. I spent my whole summer waiting for the check and still do not know when i will receive it.

      I've been with air since 8/12/23. I have my 82 year old mother living with me and the temperature upstairs was 96 degrees. My technician ******* is a now show today. While my mother and daughter are suffering. My mother has early dementia. And trying to keep her downstairs is a nightmare. The ladies in the office are so rude. A man by the name of **** was helpful. I asked who owned the company and ****** said she couldn't give out this information that I would have to ****** this information. SO I DID. They cancelled my claim and then turned around and said I needed to create a claim. When I say I have to walk with *****, on this situation, I mean, I have to walk close by him. This is one of the worst companies I have ever encountered in all my life. There should be some type of law against these types of behavior. My next step is start a class action lawsuit. I hear it's pretty simple.

      Do not apply for this warranty. They will deny your claims and you will still have to pay the service charge for the company that comes out.

      This company will lie to you and tell you anything to get a contract. Do not believe anything a representative tells you. Was told I could cancel at any time and get a pro rated refund. When they could not fix my first claim I tried to cancel and was told it is not allowed and to read the fine print. They will say anything to scam you out of your money. It cost me $750 to learn this. Beware!Will be filing a claim with the better business bureau.

      This company is TERRIBLE! I was scammed into a contract by an individual who raved about the service and company. Only to find out when I dug a little further that you have to pay extra for items other companies cover in the monthly price! However, once I found this out, I was a week until the 30 days was up and of course, I could not get a hold of the guy who sold me this stupid "contract." I tried calling every day and looking at the site and could not find any way of getting a hold of someone to cancel my account. Then 3 days before my 30 days was up Our stove went down, I submitted a work order only to have it declined because my plan went in force 3 days later. I was able to reach someone finally and they explained that, since the 30 days was not up, I could not submit a claim on a preexisting repair! it went down 3 days before. I told him to cancel my account and they told me that I had been in the contract now for 2 months and there is nothing he could do!!!! In 2 months but my claim was 3 days before my 30 days!!??? stay AWAY from this company they do not cover Simple items that go down and there is no customer service! POOR excuse for a ********************** I wish I read some of these reviews before I go involved with them!
