      I purchased a home warrant plan from ***************** Warranty and requested to cancel it and they advised I could not cancel the contract. The cancellation department was basically rude and advised I cannot cancel the contract, and that they will just keep taking my money. They stated, in order to cancel a contract both parties have to agree. I sent in a written request via email on, 8/8/2023, per the policy, which states, to request cancellation it must be done via a written request. This company is just unprofessional and again, advised they will not cancel my plan, and that Im stuck in the contractor until it expires. *********************

      these people are scam artists. 2 days without AC and they sent nobody to look at it. They told me to get somebody, and they would reimburse me. When I tried to get reimbursed, they said bill was $225 and I needed preauthorization since over $200.

      I have been paying on my policy for over4 yrs and not once has it covered a claim I have submitted to them. Just recently I was denied a claim so I asked to cancel my policy and was told I can not cancel until April of ****. When asked to speak to a manager I was told managers do not speak to customers and that it would not make a difference that my policy can not be canceled that I have to continue paying until April ****. I do not reccomend doing business with this company.

      Worse than one star, sent wrong part for my washer first time then told me they would send the part and send me 300 for me to go elsewhere and have it installed, that was not the problem and I had to purchase anew machine so then entire process cost us almost $900 for a cheaper machine and they never sent the $300. Terrible customer service.

      It's a scam. I switched from AHS to them in Jun'23. Paid 1 yr in advance to take advantage of a promotion. My AC went down on Jul 26th. Called them. Assigned a tech. Called the tech and they said they could come until 6 more days (which later then they cancelled the appt ** they said they didn't have people). Called Service plus to tell them I couldn't wait that long. They told me I could contact someone else on my own as long as it doesn't exceed $200 for the visit. I did that ($167). Diagnostic: Compressor shorted (it lasted only 29 years). Called them (including the tech I got). Final resolution: This failure is not supported by them. Told them I needed my money back (for the year I paid), since I don't know what type of failures they could cover then. They told me it's no possible. They are thieves. *************************.

      I won't even give a star. Service plus is rock bottom DECEPTIVE. I wonder how employees still work for this company. Too much to say bad things to say, but they are not even BBB accredited. STAY AWAY from this before it's too late!

      I can't even give them a half star. This company bought it from the company I was with for Two years When you call to file a complaint you go threw two to three people to get to a person who can help you with a problem. I March I called them to have my air condition fix They said it needed freeon ( I have NO idea what it is . they told me I had to pay for it as they ONLY pay for !. It cost me $60.00 for the service call and $210 for the freeon. Now the air condition needs work/And they won't ok the less a leak is done the air condition is run but hot air is coming out So I told Home Protection that and they said the leak test has to be done. Amazing Air And Air can't do the test unless fixes The wires.Total Home protection will not OK it am now in my three week trying to get this air conditioner fix I called three other heating and Air companies one will take a job dealing with TOTAL HOME PROTECTION

      They take your money upfront and fail to either cover your appliance or cut a "cheap check" that arrives many months later!! I think they are very poor in covering supposed covered appliances! Yes I did go with the premium package for 5 years and am very unsatisfied!!! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!

      Terrible service! I've been trying to cancel this account for over a year. They will "automatically" renew your account with expectations for payment of service never provided, and at random intervals. I receive calls 7 days a week and they don't seem to be good at logging interactions for the record. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
