      This company tricks you into taking on a contract by getting you to sign up . Not telling to its under contract. Then forcing you to be obligated to pay whether you are satisfied or not. The first thing I wasnt informed is the contracts. I would never have accepted . Ive had warranties before and never worried about contracts. Other warranties would tell you there is no obligation. I feel that they scams me into accepting a warranty I could not get out of. I didnt ting warranties were under contract. I want out of this obligation of being forced to accept a contract I wasnt to about up front

      Really bad warrant company. I had a legit ** breakdown. I did not bother to read every single detail on the contract, but once the service was completed on my **, the bill was given to us from the servicing company stating that after the $75.00 service fee, I still had to pay another $300.00ish for the repairs. I could not believe this was happening. The reason for the extra fees, was the cost of refrigerant, which Service Plus only covered $10.00 TOTAL! Why did they need to add refrigerant? Because it is mandated by the Service Plus contract with the vendor in order to troubleshoot the system, regardless of what is wrong with it, to see if the customer is at fault, so they do not have to pay. Anyway, there was nothing wrong with the refrigerant, the issue was a seized motor on the condenser outside due to a lizard.Now my ** is leaking from the intake duct, I know it is condensation, because it is not doing the heat exchanging properly. So what is Service Plus doing? They performed a diagnostic assessment by default and stated that the policy does not cover leaks of water or refrigerant. So basically, if the ** is broken, they will not pay for it. Unfortunately it is written in the policy.So please stay away from this company, they are a total fraud!

      Terrible service and the people don't care about you're problems believe me they are laughing at you all the while. My hot water heater went out I called them on Tuesday morning. Told me to go on line and request service that is the fasted way but he also told me they have 24 to 48 hours to respond. I knew I was in trouble by the tone of his voice. I called them back on Thursday and they told me they were looking for a contractor to fix the problem. Well it's been two days and he said no I still have one hour left. I tried calling back all day but couldn't get through. I could not understand what the problem was I live just outside ******* so I started calling around myself and found someone right away called them back and they jerked me of again so finely just got my own plumber to fix it. tried to cancel but I was told I was under contract. BUYER ******

      Scam Company - Home Warranty Company that is continually looking for service technicians and this is after you pay your deductible....they will then offer you an opportunity to find your own service tech and authorize up to $200 to have a repair completed but that's me doing the work Im paying you for a convenience that is nonexistent! Worst purchase ever and won't renew! Negative 20 million stars

      I have been with this company for 3 years. Every claim I have filed has had an issue. Their policy is that when you file a claim they will have a service company assigned within ***** hours. They never even contact you within that amount of time. I had one claim that took over 6 months, and they never found anyone to provide the service, and it is because the rates that they pay are so cheap. No reputable service company will work for or with them. I made the mistake of paying for the policy up front instead of monthly. Most of the time I have to find someone on my own, pay them up front, submit the paid invoice for reimbursement, which I have to wait on for 10 weeks, then call them because they sit on it. My air conditioning just went out (95 degree heat), I had to call someone, I was not willing to sit and wait, knowing their history. I called them and filed the claim, let them know what was going on, and asked what do I need to do from here. The lady said if it's more than $200, have the technician call our tech line to get the authorization to fix it so that we can reimburse you. It was over $200, so we did that, and received the authorization. Next day I am told they are going to only reimburse me less than half of the total amount. When I asked why, they said because I chose the technician. Do not believe anything they tell you. They are totally unethical. No integrity whatsoever.

      This company does NOT even deserve 1 star!! Theyre a SCAM!! Stay away! I recommend 1st American Home Warranty! Service Plus sales agent (***) lied to us TWICE about what they will cover. We got suckered into their Platnium Package. What a JOKE!!! My complaint emails have never been addressed! ************** in the resolutions department are RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL! Dont choose them! Save yourself a lot of ******************** They are denying our HVAC unit replacement claim! We WASTED $2,000 on the so-called Platinum Package! Plus $8300 for the new unit. Theyre offering us $500 towards that but yet we have never received the lousy $500 check! ************************* regional manager was NO help & says our complaints will never make it to their board of directors. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Stay away from this SCAM company!!!

      This company is a fraud. Our 6 yr old dryer needed repair. We contacted them and they had a service person come to check on it, so we paid him the required copay. He was very good, but tis company didn't want to pay for their required OEM part. They offered to give us $200 for a new dryer. What a joke!! The repairman said he could buy a part cheaper, but Service Plus refused to cover that expense. Ultimately, we paid for the part and they said they would reimburse $200 within 6 to8 weeks. We have called several times since the 6 weeks passed, but they just keep saying the check was approved and will be sent. Today make 13 weeks without resolution. We called again, only to get the same run-around. Obviously they cannot afford the payment, so wonder if they will just take people's payments before they just close down without warning. Do not use this company for your home warranty!

      They are not a good company they take your money but no services rendered . They send out unqualified techs to look at your problem and never fixe it ! I just canceled them they are a scam please dont use this company complete ripoff. My dryer has s still broken and no resolution . *************************

      Submitted claim on microwave. I was charged a $75 service fee. No technician came to the houuse. Tech called and he determined the problem to be a faulty door switch. He would order the part and send out a technician in ***** hours. The next day I received an e-mail from Service Plus to contact their resolutions ***** I was told they would send me a $100 check to apply to repair or replacement. I fully expected them to repair or replace. A replacement is around $800, so their $100 is not acceptable, especially after the $75 service fee.

      One star is better than what they deserve. When they offer their service to enroll, they didnt mentioned about a monthly charge to begin and when I called for service they disclosed the service fee at which time I asked them to cancel my membership. I was told I could not. Now I am waiting for a technician to be assigned to me for several days. I called them to find the status of it but no positive results. Their service levels is the worst I have seen.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ********** of money and time
