      We filed a claim on April 18, 2022, for our Maytag washer and dryer. After diagnostics, we were told that the units were too old and they would not be making the repairs. They offered $200 a piece on April 23rd and said that we would receive a check for $400 in about 8 weeks. I have been on the phone every month since then following up to see about our check. As of today, they informed me after going through **************** and being transferred to the CRS Supervisor, who contacted Accounts Payable, that they would make sure my check was in the cue. In the cue? I've been waiting almost 6 months for this check and was told every month, my check request was in the cue. In between all of these conversations they offered to credit my account for a future policy, SERIOUSLY? If this is the way they treat their customers, why would you ever want to continue doing business with ServicePlus? MY ADVICE TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A HOME WARRANTY POLICY, LOOK ELSEWHERE. I DON'T KNOW WHY THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU HASN'T SHUT THIS COMPNAY DOWN FOR FRAUD?

      A big scam. Been trying for months to get my refund from canceling a policy on a home that I sold and still to date have not received the check. Have called several times and get no where. I would not recommend this company. Had to give a star rating to post this, but that was being nice. They don't deserve a star at all.

      After paying for a 5 year term,they failed to find a technician to come fix our appliance. For 2 weeks I called daily only to be told we will email you when we find a technician. In the end we were told we could cancel our plan but would get no money back because,even though it has only been 3 years,we had already spent our $1800. So now we are left to buy our own microwave out of pocket. This service is a racket!!!

      I wish I can give them 0 Stars. This company is the worse warranty company I have ever used. First they never want to pay for your appliance repairs if the appliance is too old, I had a stove that just needed a new control panel. they said if wasn't cost effective to repair it so they will reimburse me $300. this was in January and i still have not received a check and every time I call they give me a runaround. a Month before the end of my contract I called to cancel and the customer rep said to call back a week before my contract expire so I did and supposedly he canceled my policy. Since I don't trust this company I had my credit card number changed in association with this warranty and on the expiration date they renewed my contract for another year but the credit card was decline. They is a scam and a ripoff. don't every do business with them

      I wish I would have read this before purchasing coverage from them. We have been paying for this coverage for 3 years. We live in ***** and our air conditioning went out 2 weeks ago. They keep telling us we have to find a service man ourselves and pay for it, then they will reimburse us. We don't have that kind of money. It is no wonder they want you to do it. Probably no one will work for them. I think a letter to the Attorney General is in order.

      I am writing this review basically explaining my experience with the service plus home warranty, been calling them over and over again and its like there giving me the run around, basically I'm trying to get out of the contract that I am currently in and there not trying to help me with that, they sent over five technicians and no one seems to fix what they where coming to fix, the technicians that did come to me basically took back the info from me and the company didn't honor it. I have payed them ******* dollars for a seven year warranty every technician that comes out don't report my concerns back to service plus, over all they never came to fix the central air, when one technician got back to them they supposedly had fixed it but it wasn't covered. they only was trying to pay out a 500 covergae fee on a ******** dollar repair, they haven't checked to see if my heat was working, they are taking ******** dollars because the heat is working.

      The worst of all warranty companies . Their replacement policy is slim to none. Their choice of tech are poor knowledge of appliance to be service is poor, so poor that they have to use iTunes for assistance. Service plus as a result of take over from total home warranty did not let the current customer know that their were changes in the policy thus giving us an option to cancel. Spoke with a rep in customer service whom stated that I should go back to American home shield if they are a better comp. As of right now since the contract was paid in full o have to stay with them until ****. Such a waste Ms ********* Council

      I am writing this review because what this company promised they do not deliver. They promised peace of mind and that I would not have to worry if an item in my house breaks. Not so, my A/C stopped working over 3 weeks now and they want me to pay more than what they are willing to pay to fix my unit. Please help me. There are some very nice people that spoke to me, but some of them were very nasty and even hang up the phone on me. I don't know if I can put names in this review, so I did not. I spoke to about 14 different people and my A/C is still not fixed My wife has dementia, she has suffered in many 90* days waiting for them to come and fix A/C. I told the tech that I can come up with $200 out of the $400 they wanted me to pay, because I am not working, but they are not having it they said I have to pay the full amount. My Neighbour is the one who recommended them to me and when he heard what I am going through he cancelled their service and went back to his old company. I AM NOT ABLE TO CANCELL BECAUSE I PAID FOR 3 YEARS IN ADVANCE, BIG MISTAKE, BECAUSE THEY SAID IF I CANCELL I WILL LOSE MORE THAN HALF OF THE $1200 I USED MY CREDIT CARD TO PAY UP FRONT. IF I CANCELLED, I WOULD ONLY GET BACK $500 BACK. THEY ARE A RIP OFF. PLEASE HELP ME, MY WIFE HAS DEMENTIA AND I DO NOT WANT HER TO GO THROUGH THE WINTER WITH OUT HEAT BECAUSE I HAVE A HEAT PUMP.I did not get my contract until two months plus after I purchased and paid for my warranty. They said they sent it to my email, and I did not remember getting it. PS Advise, always get a paper copy of your contract and make sure you read the fine prints, because they do not cover more things than they cover. Example, they only pay $10 per pound for freon and the company that they sent charges $150lb. I needed a leak test and i was told that I had to pay for it. My opinion is that they want to collect the money for the warranty, but do not want to fix anything. I begged them to give me back my $1200, but they refused.

      ServicePlus is a scam. I purchased a warranty and after 8 months had an HVAC claim. It took over a month for the contractor to come out and when he serviced my unit the repair failed the next day. I requested another contractor and it took over 2 months to get someone out. Once I finally spoke to the contractor they advise me that they fired ServicePlus because they struggle to get paid from them. The contractor would only come out if I paid them myself. After the contract repaird my HVAC system I tried to get reimbursed from ServicePlus and they would only pay me 50% of the costs. When I tried to cancel my plan they told me they autorenewed my plan and I could not cancel the plan. After reading my contract and pushing back they finally agreed to cancel and charged me a $50 dollar breakup fee. The warranty is a joke and their service is horrible. Never again!

      Filed a claim on April 22. Refrigerator needed replaced. I was offered a check for $375. Been waiting for 5 months for my check. I talked to *************************** in Claims and he was very nasty on the phone. I have called every couple of weeks and get the same answer... our system is updating and it has been delayed. I would not do business with them again. I bet they don't read these comments. I wish I would have done more research before I paid my years premium. They offered me a discount on my renewal Why would I want that????
