      I purchased a platinum plan with service plus home warranty. I regret doing so I was out of town traveling on business I received a text from the company about my payment being due. I advise the girl that I had to close some credit cards and have them re-issued But when I return home in three days I will call and make the payment on my plan. When I arrived home my air conditioner was out so I called service home warranty to start a claim they would not start the claim because they made my policy inactive. I explained the above situation ready to make a payment however it would take another 24 to 48 hours before they could get a service person out here. I requested a manager and the manager said well I can take you from a six-year contract to a three-year contract and you wouldnt have to pay any more money then we could do a claim for you. I would advise anybody want to do business with this company to always check the Better Business Bureau and other agencies to see how they rate. I just realized today February 19, 2022 that this company has an NR rating with BBB and over **** complaints. I would advise anyone to search for a BBB rated A+ company for home warranty service.

      I signed up for Service Plus Home Warranty. I waited to receive my policy in the mail and after making 2 policy payments of $388 each but still didnt get the policy in mail, I called and was informed they dont send out hard copies of their policy and that I could just down load it off their computer link. I said I would like a hard copy not one that is only on my IPad, I was told they dont send out hard copies. After insisting that I would like one , thegentleman (he was no way a gentleman) told me they only offer a online copy. I then told him to cancel my contract and refund the 2 payments I had already made, he advised there would be no refund since they did nothing wrong. He was so very rude I could talk to him any longer without losing my temper. Anyone who signs up with Service Plus Home Warranty beware.

      This company was misleading in there presentation of their goods and or services. They indicated that for a six year period of protection that I would be charged $2600.00 for this time frame and that I had one month free maintenance repair after a one month grace ******* When I called after one month for a covered repair, they indicated that my freezer couldn't have broke in the time frame in which I stated, and would not cover the repairs. This was done by telephone to assess the damage, (no one came out to actually look at or repair the unit).. After being denied to fix my covered repair, I called serviceman on my own and had it repaired. The i called SPHW to cancel my account and to refund my $2600.00 and after which they offered me $300.00 for me having it fixed to keep my contract, I did not except they offer and stated that I want a full refund. They then agreed to send me my Refund for the Amount of $2600.00. within 30 days. After I waited ************************************************************************** 24 to 48 hours and it would be returned to the credit card I used, they then sent me $1000.00 to my account , I then asked where the remainder, and they advised that they would send it in 24 to 48 hours, in which they sent $500.00 . then I called again and the said they would send the remainder in the 24 to 48 hours, and the sent another $500.00 then I call today and asked where the remaining $600.00 dollars was and they indicated that they were taking out $120.00 for cancelation fee and at no time did they indicate this.. Therefore they sent $480.00 for my remaining refund payment. I felt this was deceptive and I requested my full refund refund of $2600.00 back not $2480.00, they indicated that they would not do it.. This was said by **** #*** and SPHW.I am disputing this shaky business practice and would like my full refund as stated paid back. sincerely *******************

      I needed a new microwave according to the tech that talked to me over the phone. I was approved to get money to replace it. This was December 2021 and as of today, I have yet to receive it. Its always it takes 6-8 weeks. Recently my pump on my pool went out. The first guy they assigned never showed up and didnt answer my calls. They told me to find someone because they werent able to locate anyone. My pump needs to replaced. Called the company and was told that they would send me a check for 500 and that will be the last service I could receive. Never heard of them putting a cap on the number of claims you can file.

      Service plus is due to give me a refund because I cancelled my service with them.I am owed a refund but they refuse to give me my refund.Im June of 2022 they were to give refund but as of this date September 10,2022 but no refund.They are not a business of keeping their word.

      Well, here goes. They get another 1 because there are no "0". First my gas range went out. After going round & round I ended up with $500. to replace a gas range. Give me a break.Now my Microwave is spitting fire. Called it in, service rep. came out, waited for parts. Parts came in, service rep. came back out, put new parts in, shot fire again. Service rep. says they will contact Service Plus. I get an email a few weeks later saying Claim Mgr. will be contacting me. They never did. I call and was placed on hold for over ten minutes. I called again. Same thing. I was given the Claim Mgrs. phone number, she is not in, left message. Nothing, I called again, left message. Nothing. I called again, now I am told someone will call me today or tomorrow. What a frustrating company. Stay away from them. Terrible !

      Worst company. I would not not even giving them one start but you have to give them something in order to continue. I have had some plumbing issues and they were unable to find anyone to come to my house. I had to find my own plumber come out to fix my issue. They told me they would send me a check for $200.00 I waited 8 months called every month to get the same answer "oh its in the works" I have yet to receive my money. I finally called last month to have them cancel my warranty and give me a full refund. I'm still waiting for this $1050.00 and I'm sure I will never receive it they said they would put it back on my debit card that was on file. You better believe that I will be calling them weekly until I receive my money. Do not use this company they will find every excuse to not fix anything you put a claim in for. One of the biggest scams I have ever come across. They really need to be SHUT DOWN!!!!

      *************************** DO NOT INSURE WITH THIS COMPANY!!Thier services are a complete RIP OFF!!! This company is a hoax! I faithfully pay my service fee every month. Now that I need my payed services put to use, I've been given the run around with false customer service and I've been lied to. I put in my claim for leaking gas line on September 3, 2022 and it's September 7, 2022. I have not received any updates on emails nor phone calls as to who will fix my problem. I had to go out and find my own technician to fix my gas leak and get hot water. If you are looking into this company save your time , money and frustration .Find your self a real reputable home service company. This place deserves Zero Stars!

      Joined in February 2022. Salesman did NOT Inform me that it is a $40 fee just to JOIN! I WAS told a 30 day wait period was mandatory before a claim can be filed.So on 8.31.2022 I went to the site to file a claim. I have a water leak. AFTER the Labor Day holiday weekend passed, I called on Tuesday, September 06, 2022 to inquire as to WHY my claim has not been assigned to a company here in ***********, ** or WHY no one is available to HANDLE MY CLAIM of a water LEAK. The water leak has been going on since 8.30.2022. Still leaking....Was told in Tuesday, 09.06.2022 that claim would be rushed up and flagged URGENT...and to allow 24 hours to be contacted. That time has passed with no contact from anyone.Called again today, 09.07.2022. I was told that My complaint of no service to handle my WATER LEAK has been turned over to a manager, who also was unavailable to speak with me because SHE was busy contacting the Regional Manager for assistance and THEY could not receive any incoming calls. I was also told, that no plumbing companies in ***********, ** were willing to work for Service Plus, and they (Service Plus) we're still trying to locate a company that would agree to work my claim. AND I STILL have a water leak, with zero assistance from Service Plus, who has been paid on time every month....I am filing a complaint with my local BBB this afternoon. Then I plan to go on all social media and write my story there. Perhaps it may prevent another honest soul from being ripped off by this incompetent, poorly managed, sorry company. HOW do companies this SORRY remain in business??DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY, SERVICE PLUS.
