      Just tried canceling my warranty with service plus, ***** would not cancel my warranty and kept trying to get me to stay with them. After over 20 minutes trying to cancel I told him that if he offered the warranty for free I wouldn't take it. Finally had to hang up on him and called back, talked to a manager "*******" he put me on hold forever so I hung up again and called back. ******* finally canceled my warranty. I have car warranty through carshield and they started selling warranty for homes, they offer ******* per claim where service plus offers ******* per claim. I don't drink but after dealing with these clowns at service plus I may start!

      They are Liara! DO NOT FULFILL THERE OBLOGATIONS. We started a claim in May for a referigator. The contractor was the best thing of this experience. They found 1 excuse after another to not replace the referigator! I has to purchase a replacement referigator. After numerous calls and complaints I was told they would send me a check fir $250....waited a month NEVER RECEIVED. Told them to cancel my policy, was told if I didn't cancel I would receive a month free and a check for $400. Was given a check number a month later Never received. I called today they tried to over talk me and said they would recall the dheck..SURPRISED!! They are the worse warranty company I have ever had in my life. They should be ashamed to call them selves a BUSINESS!! SHUT THEM DOWN.

      Please do not deal with this company. The only reason I have not cancelled is because I am awaiting a two checks to be disbursed.

      This is the worse company in all of the world. They are a RIP OFF. I called about my dryer. It took months for the technician to come into my home and when he came he stated that there was a problem and I couldn't use the dryer because it may catch on fire. So, I waited for the company to call and they said they couldn't replace it but would pay a percentage of the cost ******. I have been waiting for weeks for the check and today I got the same story, "it will *********** to eight weeks before your check is mailed." I think this company should be investigated and stopped ripping people off, This is a scam. I am talking to the lady and I hear the chickens in the background crowing, what company have chickens running around in their place of business.I believe we should all get together and file a class action law suit against the company.PLEASE IF YOU EVER SEE TOTAL HOME WARRANTY OR SERVICE PLUS, PLEASE RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN, DELETE ALL INFORMATION. THIS IS A SCAM. RUN SCAM COMPANY.

      Purchased Service Plus Home Warranty a year ago. I have filed 3 claims and they couldn't find anyone to fill 2 of them, I had to hire professionals myself and pay for them out of my pocket.The 3rd claim was for a garage door. I place the claim in January, and they couldn't find anyone until March. The most recent claim is for a/c unit not working. It has been days and they haven't found anyone yet, so much for the 48hr service they promise. Of all the claims I have filed, they never found anyone within the 48-hr. period they advertise.Please stay away from this home warranty service. They take your money and make you pay for everything out of your pocket. IT'S A SCAM!

      I definitely would not have given this company any stars but I had to choose one. My air conditioner broke down on 8/13/22. They assigned my order to a technician. The technician came out on 8/14/22 diagnosed the problem and ordered the part on 8/15/22. I was told it would take 3 to 5 business days for the part to come in, it took 7. The technician came back to my home on 8/24/22 to service my air conditioner just to leave my house without saying anything. He left my door wide open and parts laying on my basement table. I called the technician to see what's going on. He texted "I'll call you back". He later called my husband and said the store sent the wrong part so it would be another 7 to 10 business days. I called service Plus to complain about the technician and to ask them to send me a different technician. It was such a hassle for them to agree to send me a new technician after talking to five different people. The fifth person I spoke with told me she would schedule my appointment with a different technician and to look for an email. I received an email the next day about reimbursement options and it stated I can find my own technician if I choose but it has to be approved through the company first. So I called the company back to see why they sent an email about reimbursement options when all I wanted was another technician assigned to my work order. Once again I had to speak to two different people and no one was willing to send a new technician. I was told it's the middle of summer and that they don't have any other technicians available. I could either pay for it myself and see if I'm eligible for reimbursement but anything over $100 may not be approved through the company. At this point I asked to cancel my plan and be reimbursed the remainder of the money on my plan since it doesn't expire until next year. The rep ******** to tell me they're unable to do that. I do not recommend this company they are very unprofessional. My AC is still not fixed!

      Unacceptable delays in getting a refund after cancellation!!!First I tried to cancel my ServicePlus Home Warranty contract with them within the specified 30 days by phone. I was told that they could not accept the cancellation by phone as per the fine print in the contract that says that the cancellation request needs to be sent to them in writing by mail. So I sent them the request by a certified letter through the Postal Mail. When they finally agreed to cancel my contract they said that it would take between ***** days to get a refund. After not getting a refund within the 30 days, I called them several times and all they told me was that my refund was approved but to wait a while longer (no reason given why). When I finally lost patience after 37 days of getting the run around, I called my credit card company and they were able to have ServicePlus give me an immediate refund (unbelievable on a Sunday).

      This company does not take care of its obligations. June 2021 my dishwasher started having problems technician came out and stated I need a new dishwasher. Service plus agree to send me $150 to put toward a new one. Never received the funds every time I call regarding the payment they continue to say it is being processed as of June 2022 has been a year and they are still saying the same thing. I continue to get calls from them wanted to put the funds toward a new service contract Ill deny it. I want the funds for my dishwasher. I have received a letter from them stating that the funds was approved but still have not received the funds.

      Very poor customer relation skills! Not providing any resolution to the request of the consumer. They dont or wont try to do ANYTHING to take care of the repair. I have been hung up on at least 3 times trying to get my repair fixed!! Finding how to CHEAT a customer is the only thing they do with any success!!

      I recently had an issue with my ac not working. I put in a claim and they supposedly handled my claim and assigned it to a contractor. J They say after you file a claim you have to wait ***** hours. I waited 48 hours and I had to call them to find out if anyone was going to come out and look at my unit. They gave me the number to the contractor who was suppose to pick up the claim. I called the nice gentleman and he told me he declined the claim. As I was talking with him he told me that they were the worst warranty company because they would always try and low ball him after he would complete jobs. So I let them know he declined the claim. They proceeded to tell me they would have someone out immediately. Yet I waited another 2 hours and still no one showed up. I had to eventually get someone to come out and fix my unit. So when I called in to cancel my service not only did they not completely cancel my service they told me I wasnt able to get a refund due to them actually assigning the job to someone who never showed up. So me thinking my service was cancelled they still tried deducting this months payment as well. They say they are Veteran friendly. Heck they arent even customer friendly. I use to have AHS and I thought they were bad. These guys are the worst I wouldnt recommend to anyone for any type of service. Very unprofessional and dont follow through with there promises.
