      The four attached documents outline my issue. In summary, I was looking for treatment of carpenter bees and yellowjackets on the upper corner of my house near the garage. The sales person told me Ecoshield did that and I signed a contract (which I didn't get a copy of until a year later). Now they are saying they don't treat above 10 feet--what kind of service is that? They only treat short houses? The salesperson outright lied, as I showed him where the carpenter bees were. This company is very dishonest and misleading and I want the contract cancelled without any final payment. I was told by Carl, an Ecoshield solutions team member that the salesperson I dealt with in April 2023 always lied to prospective customers and is no longer with the company.

      In early July we had this sales rep from eco shield come in and sell us a pest spray. They came and did the service and we saw no difference. Within 30 days we decided to cancel. We spoke on 8/7/2024 and notified them we wanted to cancel. After trying to talk us down on price they angrily said they are sending us a cancellation fee and hung up. The bill was $374.25 and due the same day 8/7/2024. How is this legal?

      Paid ecoshield $1,598 on April 12 for an Exclusion Service. Tech Xavier comes down from the attic with a dead squirrel in a zip lock bag. Visit summary “We will return in 2-week time for your follow-up service.”. A month passes. Nothing happens. Call the eco customer service who notifies manager who will contact me. Nothing happens. June 3 Tech Drew comes for regular $212 service. He pulls out his computer, sends a message to manager no ES response advises the manager will contact me. Nothing happens. July 26 contacted CS who confirms regular service 10 AM July 30 ES July 29 12:30. July 29 passes. July 29 passes. Nothing happens. ES tech comes afternoon July 30 I said he was supposed to be here yesterday he said cut himself of call had to get tetanus shot and manager was to have called me. He inspects chimney from the ground takes pictures, show me where squirrels are getting in. Manager Christian calls we agree tech with the ladder will come Friday, August 2 at 2:30. Tech Damian comes Friday afternoon and states because it is raining, he cannot put the ladder up. He will come back tomorrow morning at 8 AM. Saturday came and went. Nothing happens. Monday August 5, when I asked why no service Saturday tech Damian replies to my text “the manager didn’t call you? He had told me not to go and he was going to call you to explain. That’s the manager (eco business cand for Christian A*******) would just give him a call. They had removed the stop from me.” On Monday August 5 I called the number for Christian and left him a voice mail asking for an explanation. Nothing happens.

      On approximately June 1 a ***resentative of Ecoshield approached me to determine whether I had any insect problems. I did have a ********* ant problem. He said he was servicing several people in my neighborhood including my neighbor ********************* at ******************. This ***resentative said he would disinfect my house, and if I had any recurrence of the problem they would come FOR FREE to treat it. This one-time treatment was effective so I did not need a second, "free" treatment. This *** said nothing about signing up for a continuing contract, so I gladly signed for a one-tiime application of the pesticide and provided my Citi Master Card to pay for this one-time treatment. No paper contract was shown to me, nor was it ever mentioned that this would be a long-term contract.Approximately one month later Ecoshield without my authorization made an additional visit to treat my house and charged my Master Card for it. I called Ecoshield and on June 24, 2024 I wrote a letter to them requesting that they stop any further service at my location and to delete this second charge. It was then that I first discovered that they claimed I had executed a long-term contract with them and a fee would be charged to cancel this contract.Ecoshield is engaging in bad practice. First, to get me into their program they falsely claimed that my neighbor ********************* was one of their active clients. This was an outright lie. ************** personally denied to me that he ever had any relation with Ecoshield. Second, Ecoshield should have provided a paper contract, or said this was not a one-time service. But they kept this a secret in their cell phone and did not reveal the details to me. And requiring a fee to cancel the contract forced on me by their trickery is ***rehensible.I paid them $212.18 by Master Card to settle this one time service but on 6/23/2024 they charged my card an additional $212.18 for service under a contract they had tricked me into.

      this company came to my door and told me they would do 1 treatment then they billed my credit card for 2 treatments which i did not authorize , i tried to get refund but could not get anybody to take care of it ,then they came to my house again to do another treatment and i told them i do not want there service and did not authorize more than 1 treatment , i spoke with ************************* (the manager) and he said he would take care of it but he hasn't and i keep getting harassed to pay them a cancelation fee or they are gonna report me to a debt collector.

      We entered a one year contract for pest control for 2023 and asked our scheduling be arranged through the home phone number and not by text or email, I am not always in areas with cell or internet and home contacts are best used. Ecoshield always contacted us by text or email despite our stating this was not good for us. I would receive a text for an upcoming service we had no idea was scheduled. As a result we would allow exterior treatments and asked to be contacted for rescheduling interior treatments at the home phone number, this was never respected. We recently received a collections notice for a bill we never received. They sent it to the home address, which never received an invoice for the service in question or contact of any kind whatsoever. No message was sent to the cell number they have used. There are terrible communications within this organization, we paid for treatments never received and have received a collections notice for a bill we never received. They would still have had our business if they had used the correct contacts, however now I would suggest avoiding this company as they never got our contacts correct, were paid for services not provided, and now have referred us to collections for a bill never received by us. Despite providing a recent email contact and multiple queries I have still not been contacted by a representative of this company.

      Ecoshield performed services for 3/4 of the year. during those months we constantly had bugs - ants, crickets etc. when looking to schedule my 4th service i explained to them i did not want them to complete the 4th service because we were very unhappy with the services. Since we did not want the services completed Ecoshield has been repeatedly trying to charge me for the discount they gave us for completing a year of service. this is unacceptable because they are trying to collect a discount they they gave me when they did not perform any service. this charge needs to be taken away since no money is owed and i paid 3/4 of the payments for the 3/4 of thr yearly service completed.

      Eco shield was to provide on going service and failed. The missed several months of service. I expressed this to be not acceptable and missed services would need to be added on the the end of the contract at no charge. They refused to comply with this request and stated I have no evidence of the" missed services" when i live/work from the property in question as well as have cameras that recorded. The denial and lack of rendering of services has lead to me closing my account. All I want now is the harassment to stop and for the company to release me from the "213.25" bullshit charge as when asked they can't provide proof that the techs have been on site

      I recently had Ecoshield perform two pest control services and the service was adequate and l paid them through my credit card. The salesperson who sold me the service said at the time l had to get at least two treatments and then could cancel. After the second treatment l called Ecoshield to cancel and they had me call back several times and tried to pressure me into continuing their service. I was informed that l would have to pay a cancelation fee., which the salesman never mentioned. The customer service representative said that since l checked yes on a text message that l was liable for the cancelation fee. I feel their practices are misleading and discieving and should have been mentioned upfront. I don't believe their entitled to the fee. I recently had to get a new credit card from my provider since my information was hacked. Ecoshield customer services has called and texted repeatedly for my credit card information. I have not contacted as of yet and I would prefer to wait until l hear from the BBB regarding my complaint. Thank you for looking into this matter.Respectfully,***************************

      Ecosheild was NOT clear in their contract "requirements." The assumption was a one-time charge of $213.25 (August 2023) with subsequent treatment timing up to me as the homeowner. When I learned that treatments were automatically scheduled quarterly I attempted to cancel the contract and was told there was no way out. They "allowed" us to postpone the winter treatment (there are no pests in the winter) and that treatment was done in March 2024. We have made 3 payments to the company and are once again have attempted to cancel the contract and am being told there is no way out. There has to be a way out. We DO NOT need quarterly pest control services and never have in the many years we've lived here. I want out of this contract please. The customer service is unprofessional and unkind and the contract parameters were not clearly articulated during the initial consult in August of 2023. I do not want to pay this company any more money for an unneeded service, I want out of the contract please.
