      This by far my worst experience with Cenlar I sent my January payment through **** certified, they signed for it and now they are saying they can find it almost 6weeks now, customer service is horrible no one have answers. If I could give them no stars thats what they would get.. I need a new mortgage company asap.. Mad as h*** !! Now it looks like Im behind on my payments over 60 some odd days????????

      I also hate that this so called mortgage company bought out my loan!!! I NEVER had any issues with the previous company!! I have been dealing with this company now for almost 2 years just to try & get a loan modification! The balance on my loan was down to ****** or so. Like many others Covid hit but also during this time frame I lost my job of 20 years & was going through a separation after 40 yrs of marriage. I have filled out no less than 6 modification packages. I have faxed them, tried to upload to their sad excuse of a portal have sent certified mail, resent so called missing forms over and over!! Have offered countless times to start making payments which they wont accept. So as of today, they have added on attorney fees & other fees to the tune of ****** for a total now due of over ******. This doesnt even touch on how many times Ive spoken with a CSR on the phone!! You never get the same person twice, they dont take notes but tell you they do & when I ask for someone that is in a position to make a decision there is no one. They make sure enough time goes by after you send in documents that they expire so you have to send them in again. Then they move the goalposts as to what information they require. Im at my **** end and dont know where to turn. All the while they are threatening foreclosure. I am 62 and still work a FT job. My ex lives in the house and is retired. Does anyone know of a company that could help?! I would give Cenlar NO STARS if possible!!!

      So mad these idiots bought my loan. Every year since, they have been unable to do the simple task of connecting my proof of homeowners insurance (which has never lapsed) with my loan file. This year that resulted in them opening an escrow account and buying their own insurance and trying to bill me for the coverage. Is it even legal to double insure a property?

      I truly feel the same way about this company as all the other reviews. I have never dealt with such an incompetent company in my lifetime. They are the servicing company for ************************************** My mother passed away and I was selling her home only to find out her loan was recorded 3 times in error. I have been trying for 3 weeks to get them to fix title error. Only to be given incorrect information constantly. Wrong fax numbers email addresses and all they say is sorry I will send an escalated email. Now I could lose they buys and all they say is sorry. Still now resolution or clear direction on how to get this resolved. Just told I can send in a written complaint. They cant do the complaint over the phone.

      THIS COMPANY IS ABSOULUTELY AWFUL. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. HORRIBLE TERRIBLE AWFUL WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE/COMPANY/TEAM I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH IN MY LIFE. SERIOUSLY DO NOT GET A HOME EQUITY LINE OF CREDIT WITH THIS COMPANY. COMPLETE DUMPSTER FIRE.

      This is far the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with. My mortgage payment has increased 4 times withing a year. Do not do business with this company. The BBB needs to shut them down because they are ripping off hard working citizens!!!

      Lets reiterate the common thread, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. They are incompetent and have no genuine intention on ever rectifying any of their incompetent errors. I am another victim among many who have had their loans transferred to CENLAR for servicing, it is a literal nightmare. They butcher every aspect of your loan, they couldnt pay my taxes correctly, they have butcher my escrow analysis, I have spent hours upon hours and had hours of stress occupy valuable time attempting to work out resolution after resolution with them for their continuous errors. Now they have randomly increased my mortgage and escrow payments a month by an extra 1k! With absolutely no explanation. This is complete incompetence, to which no rep seems to understand why or how to even address it. Request a resolution specialist if you want to get anywhere on anything you are dealing with, with them. There needs to be an investigation into their operations, and a law suit filed. Their attempt to take more and more money from their borrowers needs to be addressed and investigated and legal actions need to be taken. It is absolutely disgusting and absurd.

      FUC* CENLAR. Worst company I have ever had to deal with. All it wants to do os generate fees over some complete ********. Have our mortgage since 2011. Since Citimortgage xferred it its been nothing but problems. I want to *** the fuc* out of them.

      This place is horrible, Do not ever use. They are unethical. I paid off my heloc and asked them to leave the account open so I could use it again if I needed to. The ** rep said of course, no problem and froze the funds. They charged me $50.00 for the yearly rate and when I called multiple times about the frozen funds, they kept lying and saying they were trying to unfreeze them. Each time the request was denied. When I finally told them to close my account, and refund my $50.00 since there were no funds to use, they said I had to pay $50.00 per year whether or not they supplied any funds, They then sent me closing paperwork with a fax number that says no answer when you try and use it. They are also charging me $224.00 to close the account. Unbelievable......

      Poor customer service, and they are worse when trying to find out things. Trying to find out where my tax payment was, two different answers from two different ********* I could move to another mortgage company with the same rate I would.
