I've been scammed! I called to cancel my insurance and they charged me $292.44 for cancelation. I was told I would not be charged for next month's insurance but I was so I called my insurance and I have not been canceled.Going to report them now and fight the charge with my bank.FirstEnroll

AVOID at all costs! Smooth talker signed me up for coverage that was too good to be true. A few months later I spoke to an insurance broker who let me know how bad the coverage is. I called First Enroll and they transferred me 2 times. The process to cancel is just a series of ongoing questions meant to frustrate the policyholder into keeping their coverage. I ran out of time the first time after several minutes and was rudely told to call back when I had more time. When I called back I was met with resistance the whole time and finally had to hang up and call my bank to cancel coverage. This company is a ****. Look up all of the complaints against them through other sites.FirstEnroll

I paid for three months of health insurance that I could not use. The member ID number I was given was invalid and after numerous phone calls no one would help me. All they did was raise their voices and say that the doctors or pharmacists had to call them directly. Three different people at my doctor's office and 2 different pharmacists were unable to find this member ID in their computer system. Two different people that answered the pharmacy help desk line that is listed on the health insurance card could not find that member id number and instead gave out an entirely different number that was for a canceled insurance. They give you the runaround and try to bully you into thinking that you can't get any other insurance. This is a complete scam.FirstEnroll

I thought I was talking to Washington Health Plan Finder. He told me everything I thought was right. Told me I would be charged 200 to start my plan, CHPW, but it was a LIE! I've been getting a $183 charge for the last 3 months for NOTHING! They did cancel my policy, but they are keeping the money I've paid. They LIED about who they were and STOLE my money. Called FirstEnroll on 5/23/25 to clarify who they are and why I am paying $140 a month for their 'Services' after learning that these payments are NOT going to Anthem BCBS. Was led to believe they are a *** for my insurance carrier. Contacted my insurance carrier- they have never heard of them and are not affiliated in any way. The man on the phone was very rude and implied I'm unaware of what my policy is. The man said that my policy is through '*************************' which ****** lists as a home health aide company. I do not use any home health companies. I contacted Anthem to report the fraud, waste and abuse and will be contacting First Enroll on a 3-way call with Anthem so that they can explain to the carrier they claim to be an agent of what exactly they are up to. I am out over $2,000 to this scam company and I don't know how I was even signed up for it. I will be filing a greivance and requesting a charge back through my bank on each payment these people have taken from me.FirstEnroll

I will go point-by-point on your response. First and foremost, the agent of my insurance company, and the person I spoke to from Healthcare Marketplace have never heard of your company. They do not have any contracts with First Enroll as a third party agent collecting premiums or billing services. Secondly, my health insurance premium is at zero cost to my family. How is your company working as a third party administrator collecting premiums when there is no premiums to collect? That makes no sense. Third, you say there was a billing agreement signed and a billing statement provided. I have received no billing statements. Not from my actual insurance company, and not from First Enroll. I have asked for this alleged document to be sent and have received nothing. No emails, no phone calls. I have submitted a fraud dispute with my bank for services not rendered and was refunded four months' of payments, and First Enroll repeatedly refund my money, just to remove the dispute and take it back out of my account for the last 3 days. When I plugged in the address for your 'corporate headquarters' in **********, the address returns as a shopping mall. The third image on ****** Maps is an AI generated image of ****** World. No mention of First Enroll listed as an office within this business park. Nothing about this seems legitimate, transparent, or trustworthy. Having been told by the actual company I receive health insurance from plus the *********** Marketplace that you are NOT a third party agent of theirs I demand to know what open-ended contract you allegedly have which allows you to conduct business and who exactly you are conducting business on behalf of, since it is NOT the companies you vaguely claim affiliation with. If you do in fact have my information, from this alleged contract, I expect you to provide evidence of services rendered on behalf of First Enroll and the consumer agreement WITH TERM DISCLOSURES, IN WRITING, via certified mail. If you are indeed a legitimate business, this should not be a *********** fact~ I worked for a third party agent of a major health insurance company, and this is not how business is conducted. Requested a refund 10 MINUTES after purchasing. Asked for cancellation and refund on May 13th.. they still posted transaction to my account on May 15th. Agent sold me an insurance plan that wasn't truthful. Told me and I specifically asked if it was dental vision and medical and come to find out its a discount plan. Why would I want a discount plan if I specifically asked for health insurance? The agent knew this!! This is highly unacceptable!! I will dispute charge with my bank as well.FirstEnroll

Today my husband contacted what he thought was ********** blue shield and spoke with and agent he told my husband everything he wanted to hear. My husband is leaving his job and starting his own business and was looking for coverage. He told the guy he wasnt looking to start coverage till closer to july 1st he told my husband the quote would be locked in for 6 months and he just needed to put his debit card on file for payment july 1st and nothing would be ran till then. As my husband is telling me this i check our account to see ****** was charged by firstenrollhealth. He didn't authorize this transaction. He called back to inquire about a refund and was put on hold and no one ever came back on the phone. Now we are disputing the charge with our bank and hoping this business is shut down soon.FirstEnroll

This company is a complete scam. They take advantage of sponsored ads on ****** and trick you into giving them your personal information. I am a young adult who is usually tech-savvy, and was still taken advantage of by this company. How this company is still in business is baffling. All telephone numbers they give you to reach them are unreachable, they have a fake address on file, and they give all of your personal information to more scamming companies promising health insurance.FirstEnroll
