  They dispatched a *** Appliance, a great company to work with. However, after paying my service fee, Select should have covered the parts and labor to have a pump replaced on my dishwasher. Even the technician thought that was ridiculous that I had to pay anything beyond my service fee. Im sure if I escalated the issue I wouldve gotten a refund. But the run around from Select is just not worth it. I will not be renewing my contract with them again.

  Never ever fall into select home warranty trap. They are the worst and will **** all your money and will never ever repair any appliance. Cancellation is another scam

  SK Plumbing came out to investigate a bathroom sink drain clog. The plumber said he fixed the clog and I paid him $65. We found the drain was still clogged so I called Select Home Warranty. They said the plumber violated their procedure where he was only supposed to investigate it and get back to Select regarding what he found. Select said I would have to pay for another plumber to come out and fix the clog, and they would not reimburse me the $65 because he violated their procedure. So, I had to hire another plumber to fix the clog when I didn't have anything to do with him violating the procedure. So then I called Select and wanted to cancel my policy. The person I talked with offered to reduce my deductible if I would not cancel. I said no, I want to cancel but the problem is that they amount of money I would get back from mu contract was very minimal. So I decline to cancel the policy and I asked her if I could still get the deductible decreased. She said yes and said she would send me an email. I got no email and no decrease. This is not the way to treat a customer regardless of what the ******************** policy is. I would never get another home warranty again.

  DO NOT BUY SELECT HOME WARRANTY A SCAM THAT ABANDONS THE ELDERLY My 85-year-old father paid in full for three years of service with Select Home Warranty. On May 31, 2025, when he tried to use the warranty for the very first timea simple $179 part to fix his A/C fanhe was met with an appalling level of neglect and deception.Over the past 19 days, he has made approximately 20 phone calls, each time being told no technicians were available in our area (*******************). Repeated requests to speak with a manager were denied. The representatives were rushed, dismissive, and unhelpful, offering no resolutiononly excuses.The worst part? We are in the middle of a triple-digit heatwave, and Select Home Warranty left an 85-year-old man to suffer without air conditioning in 100+ degree heat.After getting nowhere, my sister and I also calledsame result. They said we had to find a technician that would work with Select Home Warranty. I personally called nine **** companies in *****, **********, and not a single one would work with them. Why? Because Select Home Warranty is known for not paying their service providers on timeor at ****** here we are, nearly three weeks later, and they have done absolutely NOTHING for a senior citizen who paid in advance for coverage.This company is predatory, unethical, and completely useless when you need them most. They collect your money, then disappear when its time to deliver on their *********** NOT GET SELECT HOME WARRANTY. Save yourself the money, frustration, and neglect. Especially if you are elderly or helping care for someone who isthis company will leave you stranded.Shame on Select Home Warranty.

  Horrible experience with this home warranty company. They find every excuse to deny claims. They do not care about their customers. Avoid them and find one who will actually provide coverage.

  I'm so appreciative for having ************ No worries of being a female homeowner and having greedy service people charging me Xtra $$ the knowledge of my assigned contractor was outstanding and resolving my traumatic experience of having my smoke detectors going off for 3 days 3 months ago and then starting again within the last 2 weeks, is beyond thankful!

  ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE HOME WARRANTY EVER!!!!!!!! THEY MIGHT AS WELL STATE THAT NO MATTER THE PROBLEM, WE WILL NOT FIX OR REPLACE DUE TO SOME MINUSCULE CONTRACT/POLICY STATEMENT. TOTAL LACK OF TRANSPARENCY AND HONESTY. NEEDS TO DISSOLVE AND NOT HARM, HARASS OR MISLEAD ANY OTHER CLIENTS. TRULY SAD AND PATHETIC.
