  Very fraudulent company "sells you" on how great their coverage is...but when you have a problem they will find a way to NOT cover you. They offered $260 towards a $800 claim that was made to repair a leaking sink. It should have been fully covered per their policy...but the foreign customer service agent with an accent I could barely understand just kept saying the same thing over and over. Sorry to hear your frustrations but Per our policy this is what we can offer...SHAM SHAM SHAM ....when is someone going to file a class action lawsuit?? It's OVERDUE and i'll be the first to sign up.

  This is the WORST company. False advertising. The following was taken directly from their website. They state that "all modules and parts of your heating system that are necessary to its function are covered" but then list modules in their contract that are not covered (by their own admission, these modules are NECESSARY to its function) so they deny my claim because the heat exchange (again, a necessary module) is broken. I have not had heat in several weeks and they will not even allow for a 2nd opinion. They bait and switch. The broken heat exchange could release dangerous carbon monoxide into my home but they deny my claim. They are heartless. I requested a cancellation of my contract and they stated that they would charge me $75 for the cancellation fee that can only be waived when my contract is up. I cancelled immediately. Stay away from this company. All other home warranty companies cover these modules. Do your research and go with another company. I hope this breaks the back of these terrible liars. This coverage includes boilers, furnaces, HVACs and even the air ducts for forced air.Most homeowners dont have the knowledge to repair a broken heating system.   This is a scam. We paid our premiums, and our furnace went out, so I sent in a claim. Its the middle of January and no heat. That was 3 days ago, and when you call, once you get thru, all they say is theyre working on it. It doesnt take 3 days to get someone here. Its the middle of January and no heat, and no answers from anyone. I would NOT recommend this shady company. They do not follow their own contract.

  I think this company is a scam. They low ball you on every service and send out the lowest rating service people. Then the customer service agents tell you different things. This place should be shut down. Totally unprofessional

  Cant reach them. Tried 4 *************** and waited up to an hour to get through to them. And then they sent out a plumber company that had terrible reviews and opposed to fixing my problem, they added to my problems and costs.

  Horrible experience both times I used them. One time an HVAC tech came out (in July in ******* no less), he had the parts to repair what needed to be replaced but Select wouldnt let him do it ** they wanted to see if they could procure the parts for less money. Then I needed a plumber to come fix and stuck garbage disposal. They couldn't find a plumber to do it (seriously) so I had to find my own and thety reimbursed me for 1/s the cost.

  This business is a scam. They do not provide you with the services for which you contract with them. They hold off on processing claims and requests so they can keep your money.I have been waiting for almost four months now for my refund and for a simple confirmation letter from them stating that my policy was cancelled.Do not buy anything from them; they're a fraud.

  This company is a fraud. I filled a complaint with them because of ********* electric outage. I explained the problem and received a claim number. I was told that someone would be out to evaluate the problem and determine if problem should be fixed or replaced. I called several times just to get a different answer every time. there has been no response from yet and no one has showed up at my door to solve the problem.
