      Great experience with renewing our policy. Great rate, terms, coverage and they even kept our low service fee too! We have also filed a few claims and have had no issues. We were even reimbursed quickly, after having to submit a manual claim, after paying out of pocket first. Easy claims process.

      Tech was great but I need to wait the weekend to wash a new load of dishes, but dishwasher is still not cleaning. the water is heating now and dry at the end of the cycle. We would like another visit to se why it is not cleaning the dishes well and we are having to hand wash over half of them. Not sure if just resetting the controller was the complete problem.

      This started in April. They sent out a company to fix the dishwasher. The company replaced the motherboard. The problem happened again. Said company came out again and said the dishwasher needs to be replaced. It is now June 15th. Every time I call Select home Warranty I get a different person who tells me the same BS and I get no where. Exhausting!!!

      Submitted a claim for clothes washing machine and a repair technician was dispatched the very next day; repair done within the week. No hassles or non-vetted contractors as with other warranty providers.

      Would never recommend even to my worst enemy! I purchased the top plan to cover everything! Within these last 6 months, I have attempted to make claims and they are denied or Im told find my own technician, pay out of pocket and submit a claim and they will decide if they want to reimburse me! Its like I paid all this money for coverage and its automatically denied. Very disappointed with the lack of service and support. Will not be staying with this company!

      Purchased the Platinum Policy May 1st. Was told 30 day waiting period. Read through fine print of policy, looked ok. June 10th my **** unit quit. They sent a technician, a very good one. My claim was denied. Received a confusing e-mail on June 12th. Called June 13th and was told, 'There is a 30-day waiting period before your policy is active AND THEN, a 30-day waiting period before a replacement part is covered. A repair can be made but a replacement is a 30-day wait.' NO WHERE IS THAT EXPLAINED IN THE POLICY! Also, my policy covers a "$3000. repair/replacement allowance" yet the email stated a"$2000. repair/replacement allowance". So: #1 "repair/replacement" means they should have covered it; #2 How can Select Home give an allowance in the policy and change it in an email?! They are all very pleasant on the phone however, although I have not had them very long, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!

      While I appreciate the speed with which a technician was able to attend to our issue, one should read the long list of excluded items before signing up with this company. For what I've spent out of pocket, I'm pretty sure I could have save money by not having this contract.
