New customer and first attempt to have plumbing work done inside my house. Have not been able to get problem addressed properly after initial diagnosis and 4 visits. Representatives at American Water Resources continued to send workers/companies that did not have the the necessary identified equipment to better investigate and solved the problem. Today, I called American Water Resources three times. I was told a supervisor would call me back. After waiting 5 hours, I have yet to speak with a supervisor and to have clarity about a problem that started nearly three weeks ago. Very disappointed.Dr. DGWAmerican Water Resources, LLC

If my rating could be 0 stars it would be! The sewer line protection is a scam. I have been a customer of the program for eight years (shame on me for holding on this long.) I have had to use the coverage a number of times in my eight years and each time the plumbers would indicate they are making notes and there is a potential issue with my sewer line. In the month of October, I had plumbers out to my property a total of 6 times for a blocked sewer line, each time the plumber would recommend a camera inspection as it is suspected there is a break in the line. Both times the inspection was "supposed" to happen, the plumber would come out prepared or tell me they could not do it without charging me > $500 dollars. I have tried multiple avenues contacting the company regarding my issue and have only been able to speak to a different representative in the call center that reads me back notes, apologizes and offers me another insurance program. This protection is an absolute waste and I would not recommend it. As a consumer it would be more cost effective to save the money of what the program costs and deal with it using your own plumber to ensure accurate and appropriate resolution of the issue.American Water Resources, LLC

This is a fraud. They charge $58/month for unlimited protection. I had a sewer backed up into my basement. The first ******* couldnt jet the debris clear as he didnt have this equipment. He stated the next ******* should start with that. The next ******* did not, but temporarily cleared the line. It backed up again less than 2 weeks later. Instead of starting with the jet service upon returning to my house, they again only temporarily cleared it. They then scheduled me for a separate appointment 4 days later for the jetting. I have been a member for about a year. I had the water heater protection. This last sunday my water heater rusted out. It is now the following thursday and still have no appointment or service provider. The first provider was over 2 hours away and they rejected their claim. I have called everyday for an update (their call center is in central america btw) They say they are passing it up the line..first it was 1 to 2 business days then it went to 3 to 4 business days...So 4 days and still no repair company...I even gave them the name of a local plumber that said he could fix it tomorrow...they just passed it up the line.Still waitinigAmerican Water Resources, LLC

I have been paying to this company for six years and when I finally need them they are no shows. I talk to a representative about problem he said he was escalating situation,he also gave me a bogus number to contact him directly. I still haven't got problem solved or been able to speak to someone who can get results. If you are looking out for people this company is slipping your watch. Very bad.American Water Resources, LLC

3 years ago in the ********* area they were good to work with. Now its a complete scam. I called in for a sewer clog on 10/20/24 and 9 days later still have not sent a tech or contacted me after paying for the $50 fee to start a claim. This is one of many examples as I'm a landlord, they screwed me on so much more than this so I'm now calling to cancel 30 policies. They don't care about he customer at all, they give you the run around and transfer you up and down and nothing gets done. I'm considering starting a class action suit against them for breach of contract.American Water Resources, LLC

When you need them the most, they failed to come through. I had a cracked sewer main that they refuse to replace. They'd only consider clearing the pipe again when it clogs up Treating the symptom and not fixing the problem isn't a solution. Unacceptable!American Water Resources, LLC
