      I have a fraudulent charge on my debit card from Gannett Newspaper, posted today (4/17/23 @ 8:45AM) in the amount of $11.99. I have NEVER subscribed to any of their newspapers. After searching my card transactions, I found another charge that occurred several months ago from "gannett newsprpr cn" in the amount of $1.00 on 10/13/2022 that I didn't notice before! Both of these charges are fraudulent. I've spent a few hours today trying to reach this company to get my money back with no luck whatsoever. This is such an irritating pain in the @** to have to waste my time, on my day off trying to get this issue resolved and to keep these crooks from stealing anymore of my money!

      I bought a trial newspaper subscription service and ever since then I get charged **** every month for some thing Im not using or dont even know what service. I WANT IT TO STOP.

      Ive called three times (once in Feb, 2023 and on 3/2/23 and 3/3/23 to cancel Gannett Newspaper accounts that I didnt sign up for and the charges keep hitting my credit card and bank accounts for $7.99 each. This is an unscrupulous business and they are basically stealing my money. How can I get them to stop charging me and cancel the accounts like I already requested?

      Please accept this as confirmation we have received a complaint from your offices regarding ************** and his eNewspaper subscriptions. He called to cancel multiple subscriptions and neglected to cancel his subscription to the Telegram & Gazette. As a one-time courtesy, we refunded the amount remaining on his account instead of canceling on his paid-through date which is standard practice and policy; all subscriptions are nonrefundable. A refund of $6.07 was credited to his original method of payment on 3/15/23. 

      There will not be any additional refunds or credits applied to his account.

      On 4/7/2023 I was charged $10.66 for a newspaper that I don't believe I subscribed to. I'm truly not sure what newspaper it is. I would like this charge removed/refunded back to my account and this company to cancel whatever subscription this is supposed to be.

      I was charged $9.99 4/3/2023. from this business whom I have no idea who this business is. I never authorized them to take money out of my bank account. I have tried to reach them with no success. I want this refunded and for them to stop taking money out of my account.

      I started getting a charge of $8.55 on 05/17/22. I have no knowledge of this company and have not authorized any subscription. This company is facing a class action lawsuit and has multiple complaints with similar stories! I am working with my bank to get the money back and they are still trying to charge my account. I cannot wait for them to be punished to the fullest extent of consumer laws.

The account was canceled on 4/3/23 and left an outstanding balance of $34.29. ************************ started her subscription online on 4/3/2023, we found it using ****************** phone number; since there have been 22 disputes to her account. The past-due balance will remain until it is paid.

      I am rejecting this response because: there was no subscription authorized by me, however my bank did dispute the charges and I received 97% of my money back. Never again they are a scam company struggling for pennies on the dollar.
