We have had ezpass for several years. Any time we call the number it is often hours on the hone waiting, or being disconnected. We have been trying to resolve an issue with them for several months now. One of our credit cards was no longer being used, as it was stolen, however I couldnt add a new credit card to the account until the tags came out of "violation" We have always had a card in good standing on the account and the money was taken out right away. So the time inbween I tried countless times to to get a card attached to the account. I

Also - we had a added a car to our account that was on the account and then off the account. I am not sure why that occurred but that also acrewed bills.

We have no problem paying for the actual tolls as we have been expass customers for decades but I dont think its right that we have to pay all the surcharges of 50 per each ticket. It is up to somethign crazy like 1800$ Meanwhile we are paying the new charges and other stuff keeps coming thru. It doesnt seem to be fair.

On February 22, 2024, I tried to contact ** pass on the customer ********************** line provided on the tag, but I was on hold for 50 minutes before hanging up. My ** pass tag stopped working and it does not register when I go through a toll. The automated system did not provide any proper updates on the status of my call or the availability of the representatives. I also tried to use the ** pass app, but it was not functioning properly. I searched for an email address to send my complaint, but I could not find one on their website or app. I am very unhappy about the lack of any customer ********************** with the organization and I would like to know how I can remedy this issue as soon as possible. It would also be nice if ** Pass implemented a system for customers to request a call back from a representatives instead of making them wait on hold for an indefinite time.

We drove through ** in Oct. 2023, expecting to receive a bill in the mail for the toll. When we received the bill, it included a $50 administrative fee. We paid the toll, but sent in 3 disputes for the administrative fee. We received no response during these disputes. We just received a notice from a collections company that they have assumed that fee. 1. Why is there an administrative fee for a toll we havent had an opportunity to pay? 2. Our debt was sent to collections while in dispute. 3. We now have a collections company on our credit report. I am paying the collection to avoid any longer reporting on our credit report, but I demand a refund of that fee. This company deserves legal recourse and a class action lawsuit.

I have contacted EZ pass numerous times with no solution. I recieved the green light through a toll booth but was then billed so I looked online and noticed that my credit card on file belonged to my ex husband. I tried paying the bill at that time through the phone but it would not allow me and instead hit me with a $50 fee. My account had been in good standing up until this. I took a trip from ** to ******** and this problem only got worse. Without notice I was even recieving mail from collections. I have called for forgiveness which didn't get me anywhere. New Jersey EZ pass was telling me to call ******** and ******** was telling me to call **. I tried paying some of it after being told that I would only be left with almost $300 or more violations but then It has just been going back and forth with them asking for a solution with no avail. I have been trying for months now only for my credit to take a toll! I dont understand how someone can afford such large amounts of violations and still costumer service is NO help! There are a lot more details but this has taken a toll on me like the rest of these people complaining. Something is not right!

I went through three toll booths on the *** and was charged $50 admin fees for EACH as ** Ezpass said my toll did not register. I have a valid Ezpass that was able to be charged by other toll booths in the state on the same day. It is not my fault if Ezpass booths do not register my valid tag. When I go to dispute, there is not on single representative able to talk (I doubt any are staffed) and if you dont pay a collection agency calls. ABSOLUTE SCAM. How are they still allowed to do this?? Charging a $50 admin fee (for what exactly? To mail a piece of paper?). Unreal and next time I absolutely will not be paying.

New Jersey ** Pass has sent our account to a Credit Collection Service on false grounds. We have a ** ** Pass in good standing. On September 30, 2023 and October 7, 2023 we were charged several toll violations, even though the pictures of the car clearly have the ** Pass Tag in the window. I filled out all of the paperwork and disputed the violations and also sent a check to pay the tolls. I have called, sent emails, and have screenshots of the account which states that I have no toll violations, however New Jersey ** pass has now sent us to a credit agency which threatens my livelihood. In speaking to others, it seems they have done the same. I feel this has to be investigated further and something needs to be done. There is no reason that a person should be punished with violations and service charges, when in fact, WE HAVE AN EZPASS! There is NO VIOLATION! If the toll was not picked up by a camera, that is not my problem, that is New Jersey's problem. Now I am dealing with this ridiculous acquisition that I have committed a violation. We drive on roads all over the east coast often, I have several ** tolls that are taken from my ** ** Pass. I am unsure why this was a problem and I want to stop it from happening again! I also want it noted that on every bill, the toll for the Delaware Memorial Bridge was a different charge, how is that possible?

On Sept. 30th my EZpass transponder failed to work while going through toll booth. My vehicle is and was registered in good standing with NY EZpass. I was issued a $50 dollar fine for the ***** toll. When I received the violation notice I appealed it the next day. I received a denial for that fine even though my vehicle and correct plate number was registered with EZ pass. I then decided not to pursue this and just pay. I paid the entire fine and toll $***** + $50 and now am getting collection notices. There should be an investigation into this to see how many people they are hurting with this. Note: I NEVER have been in collections and have an 820 credit score.

On 12/8/2023 I paid a $2.10 toll using change (coins). New Jersey turnpike authority sent me a picture of my liscense plate( T77LHD )accusing me of not paying the toll. They mailed me a advisory and violations notice requesting me to pay a $50.00 administration fee, and $2.10 un-paid toll fee.(total $52.10)I had contacted the turnpike authority on or about 01/27/2024 and explained to them that I paid the toll, and if they could please run thier cameras on that ************* to verify that I paid the toll. The operator or agent I spoke with said she would review the cameras and call me back. She called me within the hour and said after reviewing the cameras we can see that you paid the toll. She also stated she would remove the fee and violation from the system.A couple days later I received a final notice(violation#T122314161968) of enforcement action stating that I needed to pay the amount they requested to avoid further charges and potential legal and administrative actions. I am requesting that they remove the violation from thier system, and compensate me for 2 hours of my time(wages) that I lost trying to address this matter. My time is worth a minimum $60 per hour.

My car was being transported via **** ******* and the tolls picked it up even though there was no transponder present and I removed my license plate from my e zpass account.

I've been trying to get a hold of customer support multiple times (for over an hour wait each time) and would get hung up when it's my turn.

I sent multiple online correspondence only to be told to submit a bill of laden by mail. No idea what that would be and I doubt it'll even be read given how bad Ezpass is.
