I got a letter 3 days ago from a law office saying that I have to pay $279.30 because of violations pending. Since this year started they have withdraw more than $1,000. 00 from my account. After reading the letter I log in into my account and and own $1,600.00 in violations and my account had a balance of $58.00. I thought something must be wrong and I called right away. After waiting 40 minutes I found out that my account was negative for a few days at the beginning of the year and that's why I have all those violations. I never got a notification because they were sending them to my old address. I am trying to explain this to the person who answer the phone and the only answer that I got is that they offered a payment plan. WE have to do something because this is ridiculous they are taking our money like money grows on trees. I like having EZPASS but is this continues I am going to cancel my accounts.

On April 1, 2023 the **** delivered 4 EZPass violations to me from the *********** at my house in ******, **. 4 in 1 envelope. After investigating, concluded that EZpass is matching a white passenger car with plate ***** with my **** yellow skidoo snowmobile plate number *****.We sent all 4 violations in the provided envelope back along with the ** snowmobile registration that expired 3/31/2021.On April 8, 2023 I again received 4 violations in 1 envelope. I won't be sending any more of these back and paying for stamps, as they not only have issues matching state and plate number, as they don't include vehicle type or plate type; they also have procedural issues with entering / processing returned violations. They are a customer no ********************** operation.April 11, 2023, after receiving 1 additional violation, I wasted an hour and a half listening to bad EZPass music on hold. The lady who answered said their system didn't show they had received what we sent. I asked her how many total violations did her system show? Currently there are 21, she said. Both my and my husband's names are on the snowmobile registration; but I, a female senior citizen, was targeted and threatened in numerous ways, numerous times by EZPass. I gave ** & Federal **** notice that the data being reported by ** is being misused - it is being used by EZpass for fraud and extortion purposes. EZPass is aware of the many problems it has, but it refuses to fix them. EZPass is committing fraud and extortion thru ****.They are maliciously operating against me with impunity. If they continue to misuse my ** snowmobile data and carry thru with any of their threats, I will pursue legal options. Other desired outcomes: EZPass be stripped of causing anyone harm; their $50 admin fee per violation be eliminated; and of course, fix there defects - charge them daily penalty fees for not fixing.

I travel from ************ to New Jersey at least 5 days a week for work. I have a ** EZ-Pass account that is tied to my credit card and charges me directly as needed. In early March, my wallet went missing. I had to cancel all of my credit/debit cards and had no cash on hand. During this time, I had to continue commuting to work daily while waiting for new cards to be delivered. Over the 5 days that I was without any cash or credit/debit cards, I received 10 violations. In total, the tolls for those 10 violations came out to less than $30 but I was charged $375 in fees. I attempted to dispute the fees and NJ EZ Pass waived the missed tolls but is continuing to charge me $375 for the fees. I called NJ EZ Pass and spoke to a supervisor on 4/12/23 who stated that they are unwilling to waive fees once a user has 12 violations. I have paid all previous tolls and violations. I am happy to pay the $30 in missed tolls but do not feel it is appropriate to charge $375 in violation fees for 5 days of commuting, especially considering the circumstances of my violations.

On December 29th, 2022, I drove up to *** from DC and back to DC on January 2nd, 2023. A few weeks later, I received a toll violation for every toll I drove through. As a VA EZ Pass holder, I informed them of this issue, and they issued me a new transponder, as mine was over ten years old. They also helped me file appeals for the violations. All other states (MD, DE, **) either forgave the penalties or deducted the toll amount from my account. ** forgave one and added penalties to the other 3. The tolls were $14.** for all three tolls. The *********** decided to round up to $50 for each toll. I tried for almost two months to call and get through to speak to someone, often on hold for more than 2 hours. I finally mailed the checks with statements for each violation directed on their website. I provided tracking information as well as proof that the checks were sent. Today I received a collections notice for $150. Their process is broken, and this scheme to deliberately add on unnecessary fees AND now destroy people's credit for pennies in tolls is unjust.

I am a ** EZ Pass owner. My EZ Pass is replenished regularly. However, every time I go through the ** toll, my tag is never read despite having the tag visible in my car. This is the forth violation I have received from NJ EZ Pass despite having an EZ Pass. I have called several times about the violations from May, 2022 and September 2022. There was money on my EZ Pass when I went through the toll on those days. The last representative I spoke to assured me that the toll was taken out of my EZ Pass balance. However, I logged in to dispute two violations I received despite adding $90 to my EZ Pass on March 29th only to realize that the violations from May and September are still open. I would like this issue resolved immediately. If I am doing my due diligence to ensure that my EZ Pass balance exceeds the minimum required, I should not be charged a violation fee when there is money on my EZ Pass. This is fraudulent.I have attached the violations as well as payment confirmation from the replenishment that was made on 3/30/23 that should have covered the tolls.

NJ EZ Pass hold time to speak with their customer ********************** is excess. I had to wait over 45 minutes three times. The customer should not be expected to be happy with wasting their time waiting on hold. NJ EZ Pass needs to manage the customer ********************** aspect of their business much better. The long wait times could indicate that more employees are needed to be hired in order to reduce the paying customer's wait time on hold. This is a big business providing a public service which needs to be managed better.

Hi, I was charged for toll violations (total of 6, $50 each, $300 total) when I had an active EZ Pass account. I should not have been charged the $50 fee since I had an active PA EZ Pass account at the time. I had just opened the PA account so that *** have impacted this, but I was not informed of any possibility at the time. Normally, if there is no tag read for whatever reason, these tolls just get billed to the account via the license plate. This happens all the time with no issue. However, for these I was charged an extra $50 each time. I initially paid all of the violations so I wouldn't have further fees added, but then called to discuss the matter with NJ EZ Pass. During the first phone call I was reassured that the amount would be refunded after they verified that I did have an active account at the time and shouldn't have been billed anything other than the tolls. Today, I still hadn't received a refund and called back to discuss. I was told that they can no find any violations and there is nothing they can do. I'm not sure what avenue to take at this point since each phone call is over an hour on hold and I am not getting anywhere with the people I have spoken to. I would appreciate some resolve in this matter since $300 is a significant amount of money. I have a Delaware EZ (D. EZ) pass and have been using it frequently to visit family in ******** and ******** which requires toll payments on the ***********. Approximately a week ago I noticed EZ pass violation notices from ******** and New Jersey which aggregate to around $400.00 in fees because mostly from violation fees added by the New Jersey Turnpike. Today, 04/05/2023 I called D.EZ to find out why my account wasn't replenishing, only to be told by the wonderful ******(sp) that my account was jammed, causing a blockage and inability for replenishment to occur. I asked why I never received any notifications and was advised that the email was blocked too (go figure). I asked for my account number and couldn't gain access to my 3 personal questions which I know were correct. I was told to add $10 to my account to reactivate the replenishment and call New Jersey and ******** to refute any and all administrative charges. How is this NOT a problem, I'm wondering if this should be investigated by the **** of ******** Affairs level.Poorly ran and inconvenient and burdensome to consumers.

I have an EZ Pass and sporadically get invoices over $500 in value with $53.50 administrative fees for 50 tolls. All while I have an EZ Pass and money on my account.
