I closed my business acct. with ****************** months before closing my personal acct. But I was sent a check in the business name. My personal name didnt appear anywhere on the check. I called on maybe 5 occasions, asking for another check, due to the fact that no bank or check cashing facility would honor the check. But after calling on at least five separate occasions of getting the run around, I received an email stating that case is closed. I still have yet to receive my refund.Initial Complaint

NJ EZ Pass is trying to scam me out of $200 in “admin fees” for tolls they claim they cannot resolve with my NY EZ Pass account. My account has the funds available to cover the tolls, yet they just sent me mail saying they couldn’t process it, and thus rejected my dispute.Initial Complaint

I have been an E-ZPASS customer for over ten years and have never had so many outstanding violations. I want to pay off the toll only charges and enroll in automatic payment. my name is ****** *** and I am a former police officer from ******. I am retired. I had came to the facility yesterday to obtain an ez pass. There was an incident that occurred between the hours of maybe 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm. I dont know the direct time, but I was standing in line. It was a gentleman that came in very irate and your employees were very rude and disrespectful to the gentleman. The gentleman that came is a gentleman that stays in ****** and he suffers from mental illness. I am very familiar with him and yes, he was a Irate, but your staff did not handle the situation correctly however I have the numbers of the booths he was using profanity with , however your staff start using profanity back very unprofessional as a customer ********************** *** and a supervisor. This is not the way customer ********************** works however Ive been a police officer over ****************************************************************************** out does not mean I get unprofessional or start using profanity back because its my job and customers are always right its called customer **********************. I still have to stay professional in the line of duty ,your staff shouldnt not have been on the same level as a customer its called customer **********************. The supervisor that was there is very unprofessional she called the man ugly and a b**** that young lady should not be in a leadership position due to her lack of skills,, she and few others was cursing the man out stating that he was a b**** and speaking on his mom calling him ugly and other things as well. That was very unprofessional as a supervisor that suppose to run her staff, I am a professional woman at work at all times at work its called customer ********************** , I was going to sign up for the ezpass, but when I seen that, I completely walked out. I am reaching out to request assistance with an issue regarding my account. On November 12, 2024, I received a letter stating that my account had been revoked due to a negative balance of $18.71. I was unaware of this balance, as I do not frequently use my account, and had not received any prior notifications about it.
I have been a customer for over 10 years and have consistently maintained my account in good standing. I am more than willing to settle the $18.71 balance immediately. I have also made multiple attempts to resolve this by calling Customer Service, but I was kept on hold for over 28 minutes during several attempts, and I did not receive a response to my web request other than a message indicating my account had been sent to collections.
Given my long-standing history as a customer, I kindly request that my account be reinstated and returned to good standing. I am hopeful we can resolve this issue promptly, as my efforts to reach Customer Service directly have not been successful.

Charged an Administrative Fee for a registered toll. However, there were toll charges taking out of my account that same day thus proving my EZ Pass Account. No issue paying the toll charge but seek reimbursement for the administrative fee.

Ezpass charged me fines exceeding $400 for a car I removed from my account. My son added the car and charges have been going through for him so the car is paid for the tolls it goes through. Ezpass is also charging me as if the car isn’t registered through his account. They are trying to collect money from both accounts for the same car.Initial Complaint

I have been charged admin fees above 750$ for toll issues while I was resolving a stolen debit/bank card issue. I had no way to recharge the account but have ha the account for over 15 years. In the past they have always taken the toll and credited the admin fees bc I'm an ex pass customer. Now they won't do that an have sent my account to collections for the admin fees. They had no problem collecting the toll fees from you account but when I called to get the admin fees reversed they told me they wont do it and that it's my fault. They were rude and wouldn't even listen to the reason which o could back up with my bank on the stolen debit cards. There is no recourse or way to fight this. They tell you you have 30 days to pay the fees or it goes to collections. Which is what they did. This should be illegal as they are collecting millions of dollars in admin fees with no oversight. The Ez pass system takes to long to process payment. Leaving you open to overdraft and than get charged a higher price from everyone else even if you have automatic payment or a tag in your car.Business Response

I formally disputed the violations with NJ E-Zpass issued or dates 7/4/24, 7/5/24, and 7/7/24, with citation numbers T12242589835-01, T122425898438-01, T062425880926-01, and T062425886336-01. At the time of my dispute I had 6 violations and only 2 were resolved. I have been a long-time PA EZPass customer, and my account has consistently been in good standing. I have three vehicles listed on this account, including the vehicle associated with these ************ PA E-ZPass account is ***** I kindly request a review of my account and the removal of these violations as they were issued in error.I have been referred to a collection agency who refused to listen to my dispute ad hung on me while I was trying to obtain information on how to resolve this dispute. I have given consent to charge my account for the original toll amount.
