      The vehicle I rented was dropped off where there was no clerk to accept the vehicle return so I had to put my keys in a dropbox. They then charged me for a dent on the side of the vehicle. I sent video evidence that I took during dropoff which clearly shows the dent not present. Someone opened a car door into it after I dropped it off. Despite this, they have refused a refund. This should be illegal. Also, they charged me a late dropoff fee, but I dropped my keys into a box so it's impossible to know if I was late (which I wasn't).

      I would highly recommend renting from another company. The staff here are rude and disrespectful. They charged my card additional fees. They charged me a $125 cleaning fee because there was a small amount of sand in the floorboard on the driver's side. When I called to ask about the charge, the agent was rude and condescending to the point she resorted to name-calling and hung up on me. I would give them no stars if it were an available option.

      As per our terms and conditions that you agreed to it states; You will pay a reasonable fee for cleaning the Vehicles interior or exterior for what we determine in our sole discretion are excessive stains, trash, dirt, soilage, odors, or pet hair after the Vehicle is returned. Our tier 1 cleaning fee is $125 and goes up. After careful review of our records, we find that the location has provided documentation of the condition of the vehicle at return. Based on this information, we find that the charges are valid and no adjustment is warranted.

      I made a reservation with AVIS to pickup a van in ******* (***********). I am travelling April 2025 and made the reservation in Jul 2024. The email confirmation I got when I booked with my "estimated Cost" was about $450 dollars. This week when I went in to review my reservation in preparation for travel the total cost when I deep dive into the email is $1500. I called Avis to ask why the price has changed and the customer service agent told me he can see the original email and has no idea why my price changed. I told him that I want the price I booked almost 1 year ago when I made the reservation. He says that he cannot change the price. When I ask to speak to a manager to discuss how we are going to correct this issue he says no managers are available. I asked how we resolve this and his answer was that he "cancel my reservation"....I asked for someone to call me back who could help resolve the issue. He took my number and I have not heard from anyone since. This is unethical business practice with zero customer service to help resolve issues. DO NOT RECOMMEND using Avis

      DON'T RENT FROM AVIS. I'm so ****** off at Avis, at the time of returning my car the place was closed. This was a sat so I called the 1 800 # and the *** told me there was no drop box at that location which made me have to keep the car to mon. Then I find out there was a drop box their. At the when I tried to return and talk to the *** my bill was $386 which was told to me by the *** and these phone calls are supposed to be recorded. I get my bill Monday and it's $719. ** instantly I call to let them know that I shouldn't be getting charged for extra days I had to keep the car because of false information given to me by your ***. ** they gave me a lil run around before agreeing to remove the charges for the extra days plus the late fee, which was told to me over the supposed to recorded phone call. I get the adjusted bill it's $615 and I'm like it supposed to went back to $386. I talk to another *** who i explain everything to and she tried to tell me the charges are valid and I'm like that's impossible you can check the recorded conversations where my bill was $386 sat upon my initial return and now even with you adjusting it taken off the days that wasn't my fault it's still $615. ** i requested a supervisor which she say there was none at the time and one will call me in 2 to 3 hrs. At this point I will be contacting my bank and my attorney because I would rather pay my lawyer than let them get away with over charging me for something that was the fault of their ***resentatives to begin with. If I was told their was a drop box I wouldn't be constantly going back and forth about the extra charge in the 1st place. As much as e and wife rent from avis this shouldn't have been a issue. This is the second time Avis have tried to do this. I'm now considering calling the news to bring more attention this company and its negligence as well as starting a complaint group against them on social media for other people who have had problems with them correcting their biill

However, we show that the vehicle was not returned until March 24th, 2025, as the location does not accept after hour returns, the vehicle was kept longer. As a gesture of ***************** a supervisor had discounted your rental.

      Again this show the disconnect of this business as they do accept after hr drop offs as this location with a drop box on the ******** side of the garage which was told to me by the *** that works inside the location. This is what caused the problem in the 1st place. Also I extended my rental til Thursday the 20th. I have the phone record of the Avis *** calling me to ask if O wanted to extend on Tuesday March 18th and Wed March 19th because I couldn't extend on the app because I kept getting a error message which prompted them to call because they seen that I haven't extended. The 1st time on tues I told them Wed but my van wasn't ready so I didn't return, the second one Wed when I didn't return at my 4:00 return time they called at 4:40 and asked me I extended to *****. After I talked to the *** over the phone I still went in the office since I was close by and verified again speaking with I believe her name is *****. I didn't extend Friday and tried to return Saturday. Avis states their phone calls are recorded. AVIS *** a large company Please let's get those records. I HAVE ALL MY PHONE RECORDS AND THEY SHOULD HAVE VIDEO OF ME COMING INTO THE LOCATION AS WELL TO EXTEND MY RENTALBECAUSE THEY APP DIDN'T LET ME EXTEND. WHICH THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE ME FOR AS WEL.

      After further investigation and talking to a *** at the Avis location. Someone added charges to my bill that wasn't on my original contract. Avis was charging me for insurance and fuel that I didn't get the reason my bill was higher. They also didn't remove the late charge that they agreed to remove when then refunded me for the 2 days that was caused by them and th at's why my bill not reflecting the amount I been complaining about.

      WORST PLACE TO RENT A CAR! The manager ***** is a complete A**Hole! No help whatsoever so ever! All he did was add his two senses which didnt even help the situation. I guess since hes the manager he wanted to let everyone know.. lol mind you this at 1:30 am while I waited in a long line for over 40 mins with one person at the desk I wonder where was ***** this whole time. ***** the manager is a complete JOKE! Avis at the *************** location is literally the worst place to rent a car. I WILL NEVER GO BACK ESPECIALLY IF ***** IS STILL THERE! ***** HAS NO CLASS AND NO PROFESSIONALISM. I cant believe he still has a job. Well that goes to show you what AVIS is working with COMPLETE TRASH.

      rented a car from Budget Car Rental through ******* on March 28th for a business trip. Unfortunately, the car broke down during my trip on March 29th, leaving me stranded for over 5 hours. I missed an important appointment, which cost me both time and money.Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service for help, there was no roadside assistance provided, and ******* was completely unresponsive in helping me resolve the situation.When I returned the car on March 30th, I was offered a $40 discount, but that amount is nowhere near enough to compensate for the loss of my valuable time and missed opportunity.This experience was deeply frustrating, and I would not recommend Budget or Expedia to anyone looking for reliable service. The lack of customer support and proper resolution made an already stressful situation even worse.

      We paid for the car in full and declined the additional insurance. When we picked the car up we declined the insurance again. When I checked my credit card bill a couple of weeks later we were charged an additional $122 for the insurance. I called to contest this, but they would only refund me $30. Will never rent from Avis again.

      ******** customer service. Over a hour wait and still eight people ahead of me. No regard for peoples time. Under staffed, poorly trained and express check in with DL and credit card by myself and many around me does not expedite the process. Avis needs to do us all a favor and go out of business. First time I used themnever again.

      So, apparently "reserve a car" just means to "lock in the price" whether there is a car available or not. Apparently, my husband can confirm his CAR rental from the AIRPORT and be told SORRY, THERE'S NO CAR! What a waste of time. Useless company, useless "customer service". Apparently all they ate good for is holding on to your money for few days. Never again. ***
