Bought a dehumidifier cube to put in crawl space because it had connectivity with an app. It worked great. Then the app didnt work at all. I call and I am told that I need to download another app. THis app doesn't appear to work at all. Every time I call they say they will send me an email so I can video what the app is doing and send it to them. No email have been recieved. Now I am crawling in and out of crawl space to turn dehumidifier on and off.Midea America Corp

Lowes and the product they sell are the worst. No I Iean no human decency support to the mroducts sold with the manufacturer of midea. ********** never worked, ***** clames they need return code from Midea. Midea says they need a technician to check out installation before the can issue a return code . Checked back after 4 days, ***** says still looking for tech in our area ,****. IM STUCK IN H*** THIS IS NO WAY TO DO BUSINESS!!!customer service claims they needMidea America Corp

Do not buy Midea. We bought a new ******* home equipped with a new Midea Refrigerator on April 7, 2022. The refrigerator was seller-purchased from Lowes in Jan ********************* March 2022. We occupied the home in October and when using the water from the door; noticed the refrigerator was leaking onto our wood floor. Really, on first use, it leaked and was defective. We called in for warrantee service for this new unit. Midea contracted-repairman who subsequently discovered through analysis, a faulty water filter for the icemaker. Midea refused to replace their installed filter, stating it is not really part of the unit and is a maintenance only item. Wouldn't you think the original installed filter by Midea would be warranted? We are very disappointed with Midea and their lack of support for this new refrigerator. We will not recommend or buy another. If they could just replace the $25 water filter, I would install it.Thank you for letting me complain.Midea America Corp

Do not buy from this company. They have horrible customer service And will not resolve issues that thousands of other people have also had. I have only had the washer 9 months I have proof of purchase from my BANK and the STORE where it was bought The store can not reprint receipts after a system reset, due to no fault of my own. The company refuses to help or do anything. This company does not even deserve one starMidea America Corp

Horrible customer service, and they are horrible to their employees. We purchased a portable **/heating unit, had it for 4 months, the ** worked great, the heating won't turn on. Purchased through ****** so we knew we could return it, but we wanted to exchange it since we thought it was a mechanical issue. ****** sent us to midea, they requested an email from our with proof of purchase. We provided immediately, then I got 4 emails asking again for the info. It wasn't until I days no more robot emails, did I actually get a person. But all they said was our refund check was in the mail. I then chatted, and messaged, and called, no one will replace the unit. They require that I pay $200 more and purchase from a separate vendor. They refuse to replace, only give us a check and leave us with a pile of junk unit. They refuse to accommodate, they just want to shut you up with a refund.Midea America Corp

Worst customer service and quality I have ever dealt with. I purchased a Washer in Jan 2022, and in March 2022 the agitator came off. I opened a warranty ticket, and after five trips to my house over the next 6 months, they are still unable to fix it, so they advised for me to return it to where I purchased it. The store where I purchased the unit no longer carries this brand and is 150 mi from where I now live. I simply asked for an exchange in my city, and they would not accommodate this request. I then asked for a refund for the full current retail price so that I could purchase a new one, and they would not accommodate that request either. Prices have increased dramatically on everything since I purchased this unit, and due to their poor quality and refusal to rectify this, I am going to be out of pocket more than I was when I bought the new unit.Midea America Corp

We have had nothing but trouble with our Midea ice maker. When reporting that we had no ice to *********************** they wanted pictures of connections to the ice maker, one of which required removing a piece from the refrigerator. This was beyond our capabilities and totally uncalled for. One month later and our problem is still not resolved but Midea had closed the ticket and therefor wanted audio of the problem. They will not send a serviceman without an audio. Totally ridiculous! Needless to say, Midea products are not well made and their support is impossible. We will never buy another Midea product and would hope no one else does as well.Midea America Corp

I purchased a washer and dryer from this company 16 months ago. One of the parts stopped working after ***************************************************************************************** to Mideas customer service. I spoke to them numerous times. They were more interested in making sure my warranty wasnt valid than they were the defective part. I didnt care about the replacement cost - I wanted the machine repaired. Eventually, they gave me the name of three repair shops in the ****** area. Two of them never answered my calls. The final company sent someone to my home to determine the problem. i was told that they would order the part from the company and it would be replaced ten days later. Ten days later is now two months. The service company has tried contacting the company and they are not responding. It really is terrible customer service.Midea America Corp

I bought a ***** btu wall unit June 15 2022. It kept growing mold even after multiple cleanings. It wouldnt drain how it was designed to. I had to use my working arm to hold it out the window to drain it. I have pictures of the mold and all that stuff. I was told to make a video of everything and email them. I did and i needed a receipt so i called ******* where i got it from and they didnt have receipts past 90 days so they couldnt help me. I cant get a refund bc of a company and the customer service have told me different things. So im out of $220 usd. Terrible company who tell you to have a professional install the unit then. I told customer service im not an idiot. They all are just robotic idiots who say the same exact thing. We need a receipt even tho theres a 1 yr warrantyMidea America Corp
