      They are lying to me and wont deliver my 7k couch that has been here in ********* where I live in the warehouse for 2 weeks now. They cancelled twice after scheduled delivery where we took off of work to be home all day two days in a row then cancelled and lied about why they cancelled. Now they cant deliver for another week. I was supposed to have this couch 2 weeks ago and I might not have a couch for Christmas which Im hosting! They wont answer now. They gave me a fake number to call back on for complaints. The company I got the couch from has been trying to get ahold of them to see whats going on. Im disgusted

      I purchased a sectional from a furniture company online, who I am also filing a complaint against, and Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery has been the company in charge of facilitating obtaining my item and delivering it. The sectional comes in four boxes and all four boxes were scheduled to be delivered on 11/22/24. The day before I received a phone call stating that the order is not complete and they will not deliver the couch. I then had to call every single day to try to get an update on the order and somehow no one had a handle on anything. Finally the order was scheduled for 12/4/24, again I was told ALL four boxes would be delivered. Low and behold, they only delivered three boxes and neglected to tell me prior to the delivery that the fourth box isn't at the warehouse yet. After being lied to by the company multiple times, I had to spend another several days calling for status updates until someone finally confirmed delivery for today, 12/11/24. I received a call on 12/9/24 confirming the delivery window for 12/11/24 and how the delivery would work. At almost 5:00pm CST I received a call stating that "oopsies, we do not have your order! We will let you know when we find it and when we can deliver it". It has now been well over a month since this process started and no one has a handle at ALL on this final piece of the delivery. I have a half put together couch that isn't even fully functional because no one can get me answers on my order. I keep being told that someone will call me back with answers, and no one ever does.

We requested an update to our warehouse and we were informed that unfortunately pending pice couldn't be located, we have properly informed about this to the vendor and we're awaiting instructions fom them on next step.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I have been lied to several times by the company as it relates to where my missing piece is. Including being told its not missing, we know exactly where it is to its not in our delivery warehouse, and its not in our other two warehouses, so we dont know where it is, but the delivery is scheduled!. There is no accountability or effort to make this situation right.

      Warehouse continues to guarantee delivery dates then cancels the the day of supposed delivery. Item has been at their warehouse for a month. I have continuously been lied to. They refuse to give me the phone number to the actual warehouse and have been very deceitful. They have scheduled and canceled on 5 different occasions.

      We initially placed our order on 11/18. We were told by ***** ***** that the item would arrive within 13 days. We were then informed that there were delays at the warehouse which would make our sofa arrive much later. The sole reason we chose this sofa over other comparable sofas was because of the promised delivery date. I genuinely feel taken advantage of by both ***** *****/*********** and Metropolitan Warehouse and Delivery. I never would have made this purchase if I had known they had no intention of delivering within the promised time frame.

      I purchased a sectional couch on 10/27/24. Original date of delivery was 11/15. 2 days before the delivery date, I received a call from a representative who started the company only makes deliveries once a week and the next available delivery date would be 11/18. He stated I would receive a call to get a 4-hour window. I never received a call, and I did not receive the sectional. Today when I called to follow up with a delivery date, I was told they could not provide one; they could only provide me with the week of 11/18. Again, I was told someone will be contacting me to give me a date and 4-hour window.

      Ive been waiting for a delivery for weeks from metropolitan warehouse. It seems like they are not moving with any speed to deliver the $2000 vanity we have purchased. Ive called several times regarding the delivery and their team has been less than empathetic, continually saying they will check with an account specialist, but nothing has happened. It is now been about three weeks since they canceled my delivery without notice, and I still do not have the item that I paid for. I do not currently have a path forward for getting this item.The original reason for the delay was getting a small truck delivery approval from my address, which they knew at least a week before the original delivery was supposed to take place, but they did not make the request or follow up with the original company that was supposed to approve that for.

      After purchasing furniture from ******, this delivery entity has spent almost a month making 6 different delivery appointments before canceling, or no-showing for, all of them. They continue to make appointments at this point and then call with a variety of excuses as to why we will not be receiving the furniture. The last time they canceled, I was told that we had both refused delivery and that their delivery truck had broken down. ****** refuses to provide any assistance and our furniture is still **** again, after a month of increasingly strange explanations as to why our furniture could not be presented.

      I ordered a chest from ***** *** home.Metropolitan Warehouse called me - i answered but was in a meeting and asked for a call back; she said sure. They did not call me back.I called back. They said they can only deliver Tue/Thur/Sat. I am free MWF. I asked to speak to a manager. She said one would call me back. Never called back.I called again. Same conversation...although i spoke to a manager and she would triple check and call me back. Never called back.Then. **** ******* emails 9/19 asking about a delivery. Their customer service is awful.I am free MWF. I also offered to open garage door for delivery on a Tues/Thur. I'm a CFO - I can't change my schedule and I don't have anyone else to take delivery. TO solve this they will have either move to MWF or allow no signature with a garage delivery. The fact that they can't even offer windows is insane too.I had said a Sat from 10-2 is fine but they can't do that either. I've been more than accomodating here.

      I contacted this business 3 weeks ago to schedule delivery of a 4 piece sofa. I have my house cleaned out and have an event planned for tonight. I received a call at 8:15 am this morning advising me that my items were not placed on the truck and the delivery will not be happening today as planned.I have spent over $400 purchasing food and accessories for the event that now will need to be discarded. I also will be spending time reaching out to guests explaining that the event is cancelled due to an unforeseen issue, and am without a reschedule date. I also do not have a delivery date for when the furniture will be delivered and am unable to provide guests with a reschedule date for the event. I had scheduled this delivery 3 weeks ago to prevent this from happening, it is frustrating, and very unprofessional. Could they have given me more notice?

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The business said the item would be delivered today, but they arrived before the scheduled delivery time and they did not have my cell phone number and called my work number.  I called them within 10 minutes of them leaving, I explained that I was in the emergency room helping with a patient.  I received an email stating that they would be coming today at the end of their route between 2:30 and 5:30 pm.  I called ****** at extension 338 at 4pm who confirmed with me that the truck would make the delivery today.  

      It is 5:45 pm and they have not called nor have they come, so I called the company to find out that this is a lie and they are not coming today.  I am very disappointed with this company and the money and time lost trying to schedule this delivery.  NEVER AGAIN

      On January 22, 2024, a driver with Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery was delivering furniture at my neighbor's home. While attempting to turn around on my neighbor's property, the driver backed into my wall and caused considerable damage. A claim was filed with Metropolitan, along with quotes from two licensed contractors. The company replied that they reserved the right to obtain their own quote and selected a handyman at a much lower price. I asked for a reputable licensed and bonded contractor and my request has been ignored.
