If I could give this business 0 reviews I would! *** head a horrible experience with them, I ordered a couch from rove concepts when it came time to schedule the delivery they didnt give me a set date until a day before. They literally tell you we can deliver it on the week of ____ but not a set date. When they have a set date they call you to confirm literally the day before and most of the times as an adult you already have things to do specially as a young business owner. They called me to deliver on the 27th of January, I called them to reschedule for the week of the 30th because I wasnt going to be home, within 5 minutes of getting off the phone with them I called again to change it back to the original date (27th) and they let me know it was back to its original date. Come to find out today (26) they called to confirm the delivery for the 30th because according to them they couldnt reschedule for the 27th. Which is so frustrating because if that was they case whyd didnt they let me know on the phone that they couldnt, rather have me thinking that it was going to come on the 27th. Now I have to change my whole schedule in hopes that Ill be free whenever they decide what day on the week of the 30th theyll deliver. This company has such bad system set up, how can you not set a date for the delivery? Its so inconvenient for people, having to guess what day of the week itll come ?? Who ever the owner is needs to go back to its basics and set up good systems in place instead of trying to work with so many furniture companies because they clearly cant handle all of them!Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp

HORRIBLE. back to back bad experiences with them. had a delivery to the mountains and they were hours late. dispatch was zero help and they kept telling us the tracking they provided was rarely accurate. we flew up to the mountains that morning bc we received a text it would be there by 11. at 6pm,after no less that 20 calls with no one willing to help, they arrived and refused to drive up the street. it was 100%passable. if metropolitan is going to send someone on a mountain run-and they had 3 prior to ours-the drivers should be informed they have snow tires. neither spoke any English and they refused to drive 3 houses up the road. the week prior they installed beds at a clients house and didnt know how to put them together and built a ****** dollar bed around the temporary metal frame rather than attach the planks that hold the mattress. what did they think all the boards were for. they were very unhappy having to do extra work. no one spoke English again and i had to communicate from ****** translate. a total disaster. we are a design firm and we will not do business again with anyone who insists on metropolitan. lazy, unprofessional and incompetentMetropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp

I ordered a couch from BJs whose vendor uses Metropolitan Warehouse for furniture delivery around 3 months ago. After confirming a delivery date, the delivery driver called me the night before the planned delivery window and told me that they were at my house and ready to deliver my couch. I was not home at the time and the driver had the audacity to beg me to come back home since they could potentially no longer come back the next day during the originally planned and agreed upon delivery time. I was able to get someone over to my house after they pulled this outlandishly rude and unprofessional move, but when I did make it home I found a rip in the pull out couch and later on realized that they had not screwed in this pull out properly as well. I am still working with BJs to get a replacement couch, but shame on Metropolitan Warehouse for being this unprofessional and pathetic and shame on BJs and their Vendor Abbyson for doing business with these hacks!Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp

Echoing all of the other reviews, I would give them 0 stars if I could. I had a dresser delivered by metropolitan and it arrived damaged so I refused the order. 2 months later they delivered the replacement and it came damaged as well! First, the dresser was loaded into their truck in nothing but a cardboard box. They must have removed the wooden crating around it because it came from Europe and the manufacturer confirmed it ships in a crate. They then proceeded to unpack it in the middle of the street (not even on a box or pad!) when I told them I needed to inspect it before signing. When they picked it up, they dragged it against the pavement. When assembling, they grabbed it by the legs to pick it up which caused further cracking in the wood. The first time I chalked it up to bad luck, but these guys are obviously the problem.Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp

Absolutely terrible delivery experience. Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery scheduled a delivery date with me a week in advance for a sofa I ordered online. They claimed they were unable to provide a delivery window so I took the entire day off work. On the day of the delivery, I received a phone call that they were 2 minutes away but that they wouldn't drive up to my home because they feared the driveway would be muddy. I told them I'd meet them at the road and proceeded to wait at the entrance to my driveway for 20 minutes in the rain. The drivers claimed they waited but never once set foot on my property. I have CCTV footage to prove my position. Over an hour on the phone with their customer service reps yielded 4 dropped calls and no help. This is absolutely the worst delivery experience I have ever had. They don't respect peoples time. It's amazing they're still in business. My husband paid white gloves for the delivery of some furniture, however, they only delivered boxes and left, I even asked them about the imperfections on the boxes and they told me: you have 15 days to open them and verify the content, when my husband called to ask me about the furniture he couldn't believe they hadn't done the full service as he had just been on the phone with the company. I called immediately and after they gave me a thousand excuses to which I gave answers, they agreed to call me, I'm still waiting for an answer. I ordered a sectional sofa that the company I purchased said was delivered to Metropolitans warehouse in *********, **, on 10/17. The delivery was scheduled a few days later and then cancelled because they were still awaiting authorization from the merchant for delivery. I would imagine if an item is received, the next step is to deliver considering its been paid for. We are being told that things are being worked out, but 3+ weeks to dispatch a delivery simply does not make sense. No solutions, no transparency, just finger pointing between the merchant and Metropolitan. I am seriously questioning whether this is a legitimate business at all.Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp

Worst delivery experience!! Do not use why are reputable companies using them? Horrible service and experience. I was supposed to have a delivery October 7th and they are telling my items is lost how do so many items get lost? Sounds very sketchy to me. Beware with this company they need to be investigated. This company ***** worse than a ****** vacuum. Our original delivery was scheduled for 10/11/2022 was not fulfilled due us living on a military base. It was then rescheduled for 10/20/2022. This delivery was also not fulfilled due to the same reason. Following this we sent directions for the drivers to get on base, an extremely easy process if they wouldve read the email in the first place. The third delivery attempt was scheduled for 11/3/2022. For this attempt, the delivery driver called and said that our options were to meet them at the gate so they could deliver our product there, or they werent even going to try. When they were informed that this was impossible (it is an entire nursery set, crib, mattress, dresser, rocking chair, bassinet, and other small items) they went ahead and rescheduled our delivery for next week. There is absolutely no communication from their customer service to their dispatch to their drivers. Their customer service will give you the same scripted response and will tell you the only thing they can do to fix anything is to just reschedule. Theyre a waste of time and money. If it came down to hand delivering my own products like SpongeBob and the ***************** or use this company, well then you can call me SpongeBob.Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp

HORRIBLE HORRIBLe HORRIBLE Company. I have two shipment coming in a week. First one they schedule a delivery and on the delivery day they called me and said our truck broke down to can not deliver and they assured me they will deliver it next day. Second day they gave me estimated time between 7:30 to 8:15. and every half hour they were keep pushing time further away. So at 1pm i called warehouse and they told me they forget to load item to truck. Seriously. they forget ??? and when i told them i will have to complain against this then they said we will send driver right away to pick up item from warehouse and deliver it to you which they did around 7pm. For second piece which was coming in after 4 days. i had same issue. They gave me estimated delivery time between 7:30 to 8:15. and at 8:30pmt hey closed ticket saying they delivered item. and delivery address was wrong. item picture was some random box and it shows driver delivered it. So when i called them, they said the same thing.. They forget to load furniture item to truck. This time i spoke to supervisor called ***** and didn't helped at all. All they said is we will locate package in warehouse and try to deliver within a WEEK. This guys are really careless.
