      We placed a order for sofa and loveseat on Sept 18th. First delivery scheduled for Oct 5 @ 6pm we were 16 out of 17 deliveries that date only to reschedule for Oct 28th. Needless to say our Oct 28th appointment was rescheduled and we are now scheduled for Nov 14th. This site we ordered from is great however the delivery company they chose to do business with on this order is horrible. Really debating on canceling our order if the 14th is another failed attempt. Going on 2 months with no furniture....

      They stole my side table on 10/14. They sub-contracted my delivery to another company. The driver showed up at 4:45 and said my table was not in his truck! When I tracked it - he said I signed for it at 4:08! The company I ordered it from said it was a misunderstanding and it would come today (10/26). Well the drivers came and opened the original box and it was empty! How did they not realize the 81 pound table was not in it! metropolitan has never called me and you can never reach anyone who speaks English. They are thieves - no company should ship with them. I will be filing a police report and hoping to finally get the table at a discount from the company I did order it from. Metropolitan should be shut down and be out of business.

      They are thieves. They are neglecting to state that on 10/14 they delivered the same box and their driver said it was not on the truck and he forged my name. I have a copy of that delivery transaction. He later changed it to customer did not answer. I have been in touch with ***** Decor and they are doing the right thing. Metropolitan delivered the box two weeks later and of coarse it was empty the first driver on 10/14 stole the table.

      On October 26th when *********************** - your driver showed up with an empty box that should have weighed 81 pounds - I was promised a call by your company. To date NOBODY has called me. I am still without a table and out hundreds of dollars. Do the right thing and locate the first driver (I have his name from 10/14) and file a report that he stole the table and forged my name.

      This company does not deliver Or pick up in a timely fashion. They do not call when they are supposed to be there but never show up. I have called and called and called with no response to date. *** spoke to their complaint **** to get it handled. I have also spoken to the company I purchased from. Still nothing no response nothing is scheduled.This is the worst company EVER to handle your delivery needs. Had this issue with both my furniture delivery and now for the furniture repair.

      Worse company ever. If I could give negative stars I would. Initially, I had a couch delivery and they only delivered half of the couch and said they the other half was missing. How could you miss packing the other half?? Where is the quality control? Then I waited 2 months of false promises saying they are delivering the other half but then they tell me because the ottoman is not at the final warehouse they cannot make the delivery because they cannot do a partial delivery. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? ALL I WANT IS MY COUCH. NOW AFTER 3 MONTHS the ottoman FINALLY comes to the final warehouse and they told me the deliveries are on hold. WORSE COMPANY EVER. If you see Metropolitan Warehouse as your delivery company, RUN

      The worst. We waited all day today for a sofa to be delivered. The real-time delivery info kept updating to later and later delivery times, which was ok, but then all updates stopped. The map showed the delivery truck sitting in the same spot for hours, and our delivery estimated time never updated again. I called Metropolitan and they said the driver wasnt answering the phone. I have no idea if or when Ill ever receive my sofa. I feel like canceling the order. Im disgusted.

      Not a good company! I was suppose to have my delivery yesterday, instead I got a call at 6pm saying they could not delivery it, it would be another week. Why am I paying for this company to not do their job? Do not walk away from this company, run away! If I could give no stars I would!

      This company should absolutely be shut down!! I worked in freight logistics for about 5yrs, never have I experienced a company canceling and rescheduling an appointment without warning.. I took off from work all for them to tell me the freight hasnt arrived at the terminal. Then when it did arrive they KEPT rescheduling my appt. ITS BEEN OVER A MONTH!! They have delivered items to me before and EVERYTHING I ordered for my new home arrived DAMAGED. They are terrible company.. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST THEY BELONG IN THE GARBAGE wish I could give no stars to this disgrace of a company

      Horrible company to do business with. If I could leave a negative star, I would. I was having bookshelves delivered. The delivery team did not want to take it upstairs although I had paid for exactly that. They then said they would not fit. I proved to them that they would fit. They said they were running late on other deliveries and would return the next morning. THEY LIED. No one showed up. I called ****** who called them and said to redeliver to me. They called me and set up a new delivery... Guess who did not show up!! I called and they said they had no information on the re-delivery. UNBELIEVEABLE!! The Best advice I can give anyone is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

      Just had the most terrifying and infuriating experiences with this company today. They assembled the bed they delivered obviously incorrectly (literally upside down) and when I very politely told them it didnt look right these two very large men began screaming at me that it was done correctly and that I had to sign the delivery form. In my face. Alone in a one bedroom apartment. They argued and yelled at me for five minutes straight until I tried calling the company I bought the furniture from and the finally admitted their mistake, but they had stripped the screws during assembly and so were unable to disassemble the bed and do it correctly. Supposedly they made a note on the form I signed noting all of this but by then I was just ready to do whatever it took to get them out of my apartment so I signed so they would leave. I have honestly never been so in fear of my own safety. Still debating on whether or not I should file a police report to have a record of this incident. Meanwhile I have a useless piece of furniture sitting in my bedroom with no resolution.

      Was given a 10 hour window for delivery. Made sure it was on the 1 day telework schedule. Was following tracking all day online. Said 8:45, then 12:30, then ****, then ****, then ****. I call at **** (5 minutes left in the delivery window) learn that the dispatch team was on delivery 10 and we were 14!!! Expected delivery at 9pm!!!! I talk to 3 reps with no plan to remedy. For so many reasons that is unacceptable. And the poor delivery guys being expected to do 14 deliveries and putting furniture together. The schedule team way overbooked them. Sets the dispatch team and customer up for failure. **** at **** I get a call, it rings once, try to answer they hang up. I call back and they say I didn't answer their call and that they were canceling the delivery because it is outside their working hours. I now can't reschedule for another week with our work schedules. We're stuck in this delivery company because of whom we bought the furniture through contracts out delivery. How can there be no quality assurance or oversight? With all the other reviews I'm now concerned for all the pieces to arrive together and them not being damaged, as I'm sure they now have to unload and reload next week. At least I hope they're not sitting in the truck through the hurricane this weekend. A week of sleeping on the floor due to the incompetence and horrible customer service. More than disappointed. Let's see if they show up on the reschedule date. And I will be inspecting all pieces in depth for damages. Spending $6,000 on a bedroom set is no minor expense and a major fortune for us. Where is the integrity and responsibility for proper service.
