      Homeowners beware: My experience with [Liberty] Home Shield has been a nightmare. My home AC has been broken for over 30 days, and despite multiple emails and phone calls, theyve failed to resolve the issue.This kind of delay during high summer temps isn't just bad service its bad faith and potentially dangerous.If you're considering using them for home warranty coverage, think twice. Im now pursuing formal complaints with the Texas Attorney General, BBB, and legal counsel.

      We received excellent customer service from ******* ****** today. He was extremely helpful in handling both warranty company work orders, demonstrating patience and efficiency while addressing our concerns. His support was greatly appreciated.

      I would leave 0 stars if possible. ******** company, run the other way. Despite the reading all the paperwork fine print before purchasing and it sounding legit, they find a way to not end up covering anything. 2/2 claims they have said the A/c and water heater are too old and wont cover but will offer a whole sale pricing for me to purchase and then I also have to pay for installation. Most recently my hot water heater stopped working and turns out it just needed a $200 part and they wouldnt do it, said i should replace the whole unit ( its 11 years old). Technician came out to look at it 5 days after filing claim ( so yes I was out of hot water with 2 young kids for 7days total) and said it didnt need to be replaced just a new part. I spent hours calling and messaging trying to getting things moving. 2 days after tech came out I was still waiting for the resolution department to decide if it was covered and how much. Came back Not covered but they will give 200 toward new unit, what a joke and waste of time. I ended up just paying out of pocket to get it fixed (after paying liberty a $95 service fee). Seriously, this is the whole point of the coverage I will be cancelling policy which I expect to be a nightmare also. Please run the other way and do not purchase from this company. I have used other companies and thought they werent that great but compared to liberty they were amazing.

      I have had Liberty Home Guard for almost a year the first time I attempted to file a claim was a bad experience. My washing machine adjuatator needed to be replaced. I filed a claim paid my $125 claim fee. A repairman was sent to the house to confirm that a new adjuatator was needed, Liberty said they would send the part, but I would need to pay another $250 for the labor. The part required 1 screw, and nothing had to be removed to get to the part, I told them I am not paying for labor it should come out of the claim fee. I will put it on myself.A couple;e weeks later my hot water heater started to leak, I called and asked if I filed a claim would I have to pay for the labor to fix or insiall a new water heater, they told me I would have to fie a claim before they could tell me ( pay the $125 claim fee). This is a hustle a scam. If I have payed all my fees for a warranty service for the year and only the part and not labor is covered this should be said upfront. I have used American Home Shield ( all the had was a $75 service call fee and everything else was taken care of by them) and even Choice Home Warranty was similar to American Home Shield in not having to pay labor fees, as the labor fees are half the cost if not more of any repair. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

      If I could leave a -100 review I would. Liberty is no more than a scam. We submitted a claim for our pool in March, it's now mid *********** have caused more issues than when we started. Their attempt to repair a mildly leaking gasket has now caused substantial leaks & the need to reset actuators but they will not complete the repair. Each time we call, which has been wkly since March, we're told they will respond in 1-2 bus days. The 1st tech did not show up when scheduled. When he finally did, he performed a diagnostic. It was weeks before he returned to make the repair after again missing 2 scheduled times. When he finally returned, he didn't replace the actuator over the gasket he repaired. He literally left it on the ground! He was sent out again to handle his mistake & again missed 3 scheduled times! All the while, we're contacting Liberty & being told 1-2 days resolution. This is a lie. There is no communication until we call again. Our equip is now leaking profusely. When original tech finally came out he said he did not have the tools to fix the problem he caused (to place the actuator where it was before the attempted repair). A new company was finally sent out to review what he did, they performed yet another diagnostic. She tried to place the actuator but now, when the spa is off there is a substantial leak from the actuator. Whatever was done by the 1st tech, we cannot run either the pool or the spa!!! The tech is saying Liberty hasn't contacted **************************** is saying the delay is bc they have not heard back from tech. It is MORE than absurd. We asked for a refund of the $260 we paid out of pocket since the repair was not completed & of course there has been no resolution on that, stating they would let us know in 1-2 days. It has now been almost 2 wks since last tech was here. I DO NOT recommend this company & feel they should NOT be in business & cannot be trusted with your home or repairs. Again, our claim was submitted in MARCH! IT IS NOW JUNE 13.

      Worst home warrant company I have ever dealt with! I have used many home warranty customers in the past, and I cannot begin to describe the h*** they have put me through. They sent a non certified **** company to install a new unit. He did not know what he was doing. A million things have gone wrong and they do nothing about it. I paid them $5530 which $2300 was installation. I have proof they took back the money from the installer of the **** company of $2300 because it was such a s*** job. That money should go to ME because I paid for it! Since it was installed so poorly I have had to pay an extra $1593 plus $430 to a new company because of everything the original company did wrong. Libertys solution? $150 for my trouble.

      If anybody is thinking about a home warranty do not use Liberty Home Guard. I paid them five years in advance. I had a total of ten calls over 4 years. Every call for service was a problem. The service people they assign do not show up and do not call. They use the cheapest, most desperate service companies they can find. None of them are local service companies. One arrived but could not speak English. I found my own company to repair my water Heater as directed by them after their company did not show or call. I submitted the bill as directed for reimbursement. I was then told they do not cover labor and only offered me $55 for the defective part that was replaced. The total bill was $360. They are the worst company to deal with. The BBB does NOT ACCREDIT them. Please read the Alert placed on LHG by the BBB describing a Pattern of Complaints.

      Ive had an extremely frustrating experience with Liberty Home Guard. From the start, the claims process has been slow and confusing. I paid the up-front service fees as required, but appointments with technicians were often delayed or cancelled, dragging the whole process out for weeks.Communication has also been a major issue. Its been difficult to get clear answers about when my claims would be reviewed or approved. Even worse, some appliances I was told would be covered when I signed up were later denied which directly contradicted what I was promised by their sales reps.Ive also found the advertised scope of coverage and payout amounts to be misleading. When I requested written explanations for denied claims, I never received a clear response. There are also a lot of exclusions and fine print that were not made obvious up front things like age restrictions or brand/model limitations that werent disclosed during the sales process.Overall, I feel like the service hasnt matched what was advertised or promised, and I wouldnt recommend Liberty Home Guard based on my experience.

      ***** did a great job with customer service. He helped file three separate claims in less than 10 minutes.
