One of the worst company's for home insurance that I have ever dealt with. I have an email from the sales *** stating that I'd have ZERO out of pocket expenses after signing the contract. Not true. The site Clause XYZ continually to get out of fixing an appliance or ***lacing an appliance where it doesn't cost me more money every single time. And they lie about ***lacement costs as well. For example, they told me the costs to ***lace my water spigots was $100 per spigot. This is not true. The tech bought them from ********** for less than $30.00. Now, they won't fix my washing machine without costing me more money. If I merely pay $30 extra to have it fixed, then they won't fix it the next time. And because I am 90% certain that they "fix" won't actually fix it (because the tech never opened up the machine and ** says like's likely to be different problem), I will void that coverage onboard my appliance. Or I can spend a few extra hundreds of dollar and buy a new one at their "discounted rate." And, I could go on and on about how they continually nickel and dime in spite of the email from the sales *** that said I'd have ZERO out of pocket costs (aside from the service fee)....

This company is very arrogant and misleading! I have had to replace a stove, replace plumbing, and replace an entire HVAC Heat and Air unit because of Liberty Homeguard's lackluster attitude about responding to my problem. My property went an entire month without running water during 100 degree spells!!?? On a separate occasion, there was no air conditioning during spells of 100 degree days!!?? On another separate occasion, I had to replace an entire stove/ range due to Liberty Homeguard not FOLLOWING UP ON A CLAIM to order parts for the old stove/ range!! I actually believed them each time that they would HONOR THEIR WORD AND ADVERTISEMENT!! And Liberty Homeguard never has!!?? Why would I need to purchase a $2,000 ** Stove from Best Buy, if I am paying $80.00 monthly to Liberty Homeguard plus the service charge for the contractor???? Why would I have to sign two separate agreements: 1. Plumbing... $446.00 a month with BJ Plumbing 2. HVAC... $145.00 a month with BJ Plumbing IF I HAVE LIBERTY HOMEGUARD? WHY

I would have left zero stars if I could. Liberty Home Guard is just a Bait and Switch Scam that no one should purchase. Their salesman are very god at selling you their service. They went through all my equipment and told me everything would be covered. Then when I have an issue with my dishwasher, they say that it is too old and has no value so it isn't covered "as per the agreement" - which I never received. What was the point of paying all this money for equipment that was clearly old to begin with and was assured would be covered if they aren't going to pay anything. It seems that many people are complaining about this same issue. How can we start a class action lawsuit against this company?

50 Days Without AC Worst Warranty Experience Ever I filed a claim with Liberty Home Warranty on March 17, 2025 to repair my air conditioning unit. It took 50 DAYS to get the issue resolvedand the experience was absolutely unacceptable from start to finish.Despite paying all required fees, I was left without AC through the ********** for nearly two months. Liberty initially ordered the wrong part, then gave me the runaround for weeksevery time I called, I was given conflicting information. One day I was told the part was being overnighted, the next day it wasnt approved, then later they said I had to sign paperwork that was never mentioned before. The technician offered to fix the unit quickly if Liberty approved the correct part, but the company refused to cover the full cost, even though the delay was entirely their fault. We ended up spending hundreds on hotel rooms, fans, and temporary solutionsnone of which Liberty offered to reimburse. Their customer service was disorganized, unhelpful, and showed zero urgency or accountability.I strongly urge anyone considering Liberty Home Warranty to look elsewhere. If you actually need them to follow through on a claim, youll likely face delays, miscommunication, and frustration. This was hands-down one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had.

I would avoid working with this company. There use of loop holes and exclusions is well document in previous reviews. In my case, a salesperson extended my contact to six years without my consent and charged me over $3000. I did not realize they did that until paperwork was sign. Now they will not change to the original terms without my canceling my policy and reclaiming fees and claims. They also cap any repairs at "book value" of the item. I've asked to see the book they use, from what I can tell it's whatever number they make up.

This is a horrible group to contact and have work accomplished in a timely manner. Our service tech said the replacement circuit board looked to have been reused and the refrigerator would not work with the replacement board. Many attempts to contact someone in authority resulted in " we will call you within 24 to 48 hours.". We've been without refrigeration for 10 days over the Easter Holiday with relatives present. Do not use Liberty Home Group Warranty.

I filed a claim for a garage door opener: Paid the service fee and they sent out a service provider to evaluate. The repair person diagnosed the problem and called the resolution dept. The told him that the part was too expensive and the would get it on there own. Once they decided to replace the garage door opener a week later I had to pay an additional $225 for a return service call, and they will not order the part until I paid. The contract clearly says ALL parts and labor on garage door openers. So to date I paid the premium, a service fee and the service call. They paid for a cheaper door opener. I have tried and resolve with customer service with NO call back!
Liberty Home Guard is a SCAM!

Big Corp. Algorithms. You lose. After using them a few times over 4 years with mediocre results, when I needed them most, they sent my 10 page fine print agreement that stated they covered only $1,600 for the ac unit, and that was with preventative maintenance records. The reversal valve went bad, and after multiple hvac opinions, they all said preventative maintenance would do nothing for the reversal valve. One said he'd only seen it go bad 3 times in 50 years. Liberty Home guard covers themselves, not you.

we ran into an issue with the dishwasher not draining water. technician came in and said a new pump is needed. pump took a week to come, then after fixing it the dishwasher is pooling water again. the tech came back and took a look a second time but couldn't find any issues. the warranty company isn't willing to compensate for the delay in fixing the dishwasher. We are a family of 6 and there are quite a few dishes to wash. we need compensation for the dishwasher downtime and repair or replacement.

If I could leave a -5 I would. The sales team lie to customers up front to get them to buy a policy and when you file a claim it takes weeks instead of the 24-48 hours that the sales team states. The sales team says installation is included but when you file a claim it is no longer included. Nobody on the customer service team speaks English well enough to understand causing more confusion. They make the policy sound amazing but when it comes to filing a claim it is a nightmare. I’m cancelling early and letting two months of the policy go to waste rather than deal with this shady business again.
