      I had solar was momentum the last three years and because the installation l had Roof leaking after four time, finally they it but I had damage and furniture damage as well and the solar wasnt connected during the four months until they fixed it. I never got compensate or furniture replacement.

      I am going out of my way for the first time in 34 years to post a negative review on BBB for Momentum Solar simply because of their spam calls. For the past 6 months, every single business day, I receive 5-8 spam phone calls from Momentum Solar. I have never inquired with this company before for their services, and the repeated phone calls is extremely frustrating.What makes matters worse is that every single time they call, they call on a different phone number. So it is impossible to block and ignore the calls because the number changes every single time. I don't know if a scammer is using their name as a trap or if it's really them, but they should look into this.

      I booked an appt over the phone for a one hour home visit. Little did I know the visit would take over 4 hours. If I had known, I would NEVER book that. Well I spent the 4 hours with a sales rep. *** that time and info...to be approved by him onsite ONLY to get rejected the next day.....I asked him point blank....how important is credit score...he said NOT all about that..there are 6 points they look at.....I passed 5 but not 6....OMG...what a waist of my time.

      A salesperson knocked my door in Dec2024, explained as if this is the best solar company in the world. This salesperson does not have local police permit to knock the doors and enter to the personal space (Came to know from local police office). He explained that he will be the primary contact for any questions, they get sign on the document that has 7-day policy for cancellation. After that salesman left the company not attending my call to cancel the contract within the timeframe. Now the company calls me and gives option 1. stay with them and complete the installation. 2. pay for what they have done so far (like permits, paperwork etc.). Now I cannot escape from these two options. They trap the customers in loop, I don't have lawyer, no justice to the customers like me. They are multiple people in the system where you end up in loosing that 7-day period time point very quickly. My home roof is very old, **** growing on roof, but their inspection passes as all good for solar panel installation, they keep hiding terms and conditions, so that they can get money from customers in cancellation situations.

      The misled me totally. I chose Momentum Solar for a rooftop solar panel installation based on a neighbors recommendation and the assurances made by their sales representative. One of the key reasons I moved forward with the contract was the salesperson's explicit promise that Momentum Solar would remove the panels one time, at no cost, in the event I needed to replace my roof. This assurance was critical in my decision, as my roof was older and I anticipated needing work done in the near future.Recently, I had a licensed roofer assess my property, and they confirmed that my roof does, in fact, need to be replaced. However, when I contacted Momentum Solar to initiate the promised panel removal, I was met with unexpected roadblocks. The company demanded a specific certificate to validate the removal claim a certificate they themselves failed to provide or track, despite maintaining detailed records of my contract and installation. I was never informed during the sales or installation process that such a document would be required in the future.Worse still, the roofer who inspected my home pointed out visible damage to the roof directly caused by the solar panel installation. This includes penetrations and improper sealing that have compromised the roof's integrity. This experience has been deeply disappointing and feels like a clear case of deceptive trade practices. The companys failure to honor verbal commitments made during the sales process, their lack of transparency and documentation, and the physical damage caused to my home all raise serious concerns. At best, this is a case of negligence and poor customer service. At worst, it reflects a deliberate strategy to mislead homeowners into contracts they will struggle to enforce.I believe Momentum Solar should be investigated for misleading sales tactics, failure to honor commitments, and potentially damaging installations.

      Momentum solar has a contract that mentioned I will be getting a cash back of 3K which has to be delivered in 3 weeks thats by Dec 3rd week but I am waiting for 5 months and I have called 100 times and till now I havent received the check and the customer service is horrible. I would suggest people to look for other company.

      As a Momentum customer 5 years in it is extremely disappointing that the salesman misled us when discussing the ********************** process in the event of weather damage to our roof. He told us on two separate occasions that the process would not cost us and now I find out that there is a cost associated with the process. Does Momentum help? No - they just apologize repeatedly and say there is nothing they can do. I would strongly encourage anyone interested in solar panels to consider someone other than Momentum and their dishonest salesman.

      They will not schedule an engineering visit unless you sign with them and then they tell you its a seamless cancelation process. Well, I did a bit more research and read more reviews, so I decided to cancel. Thats when the harassment started. I had to explain to 4 different people why I canceled, then someone tried to tell me I didnt cancel in time (I canceled the NEXT day). When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the supervisor (******) said the call was to inquire why I canceled. At this point I was done. I explained why to him AGAIN and he tried to convince me to ignore the reviews because people that loved their work just dont write reviews. I lost it a bit and then he started lecturing me on my behavior, which of course was because he wouldnt accept my reasoning for not going with them. Do people really change their minds after being lectured to in this way? Anyway, I would say do not even entertain this company for solar .. they are nice as pie during the presentation but then they show their true colors.

      They wanted to give us a quote. We agreed. We said no. They said at least let us see if the solar units would work on your house. we said ok. a man came out and showed us a picture of how they would put it on our roof. We asked how would they attach it to our new tiles. They would have to talk to someone else, they didn't know. We said forget it. They had us sign a letter of cancellation that was part of the contract. We signed the next day and emailed it back to them. end of story until we received bill for $10,332.00 for the work they did and for deposit upon signing of contract. They just kept saying there would be no costs.

      I've never dealt with this company, but a company by the name of "Momentum Solar" are cold calling my work number multiple times a day for weeks. I started blocking the inbound numbers, but they change the source number every time. This is very annoying and borders on harassment.
