I had a bad experience with Wedgewood and I would go through any other company at this point. They charge an extra $30 promising one day delivery but then when it comes 2+ plus days later, they say "well, it's actually one day plus however long it takes us to make the medication". I requested a refund of the $30 extra charge and they refused.Wedgewood Pharmacy

Thank you for reaching out to us. We sincerely apologize for the experience you had with our compounding time for your pet's medicine. Since our medications are made to fit specific needs there is a compounding process involved that would happen before the medicine ships from our facility. We have issued you a credit for the $30 shipping charge that you paid for. We also tried reaching out via phone to speak with you and address your concerns. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the unexpected compounding time for the medication. If there is anything we can assist with, please call us at **************Review fromNicole L

I was charged 3x the amount on the medicine I ordered. I ordered medicine for my pets. Total was around 227. They charged the 227 but then did four other separate charges adding to over 450. This is affecting my mortgage payment from coming out. Called their customer service and they said it "should" fix itself with my bank. Should?? This isn't my banks fault. **** charged me extra charges that shouldn't even exist!Wedgewood Pharmacy

With credit and debit cards, authorization holds (also known as card authorization, pre-authorization, or pre-auth) can fall off the account anywhere from 110 days after the transaction date depending on your bank's policy. In some cases, contacting your bank directly about releasing the pre auth can expedite the process.Review fromRene M

1 starHUGE WARNING ABOUT Wedgewood Pharmacy First of all: Yes you read right: Wedgewood Pharmacy takes the risk of death.Story:A very important under subscription heart medication with a final order confirmation was not delivered. After 11 Days waiting time (my dog need 1 1/2 Pills each day) was the info: out of stock. Than I walked with my Dog the animal hospital and spend $345.02 for the heart problem again. Answer from a Wedgewood Pharmacy Employee over the phone: We can't say anything about that. Your problem.Several e-mails and chats remain unanswered My recommendation: Stay away from this dubious Pharmacy. You or your pet may die as a result. Maybe the press is interested in this case. Worst customer service ever. I was getting a compounded liquid heart medication for my dog. Liquid is easier than chewables, he won't eat the chewables. On December 26th at a cardiac vet visit my vet changed the dosage of his prescription. I'd just placed a refill at the old dosage level so I contacted them to cancel the old prescription and have them fill the new one. They did that and got it out the door on December 27th. Unfortunately, due to the backlog from the holidays it took almost exactly 2 weeks for the medication to arrive. The lateness of his prescription forced me to get a week's work of medication from my vet to tide him over. I'd called Wedgewood asking if I could get a full refund because I had to get additional medication to tide my dog over till his prescription arrived. I was told if it didn't arrive by a certain date (01/8/24) then they would refund me the full amount. I was told they'd note it in my files. The prescription arrived on 1/9/24, so I emailed requesting a refund. No one responded. I called them mid-February and was told once again they would refund my prescription, but it could take up to 3 weeks. 3 weeks came and went, and today I see a refund for the shipping only. I called them and was told they don't refund for prescriptions, only shipping. I pointed out I was promised a full refund, and the "manager" told me "I don't have any proof you were offered that". I pointed out she could listen to the recording, and was told "we delete calls after 30 days". Then this person put the blame on me because "I waited for 2 months to call". Unbelievable. I pointed out I was promised a full refund for $202, that it was supposedly noted in my account, and was told there was nothing there. There were however, notes about 'refunding shipping'. I had a screaming meltdown and hung up. For someone to lie and say they don't have a record of the promise was too much. Wedgewood is not worth doing business with, go elsewhere.Wedgewood Pharmacy

I am posting this review anywhere and everywhere I can find. We are VERY dissatisfied with this pharmacy!! We paid over $70 for unusable medication (unable to add the picture) plus we had to wait an unacceptably long time. Our cat has cancer and we were starting to wonder if she would still be alive by the time this pharmacy got off its a** For her first dose of the "liquid", it was actually just a blob of brown paste. In hindsight, we're now concerned that she either got an ****** concentrated dose or not enough since it was definitely not an oil suspension. Because of her not being correctly dosed either way, she stopped eating and we actually had a euthanasia appointment scheduled; however, our vet wanted to try adding Cerenia first - THANKFULLY. This pharmacy's negligence literally almost killed our cat. I would not use them again, nor do I recommend them for anyone who loves their pet.Wedgewood Pharmacy

Needed a liquid antibiotic for my dog. It wasnt in stock anywhere locally. Vet had it ordered here. I paid an extra $30 for 1-day shipping. Order was placed in the evening so I waited until the next day in hopes Id get a shipping update and have the medicine within 2 days of ordering. When I didnt receive an email about shipping I called and was told it would take 17 DAYS before it shipped, but good news I paid for 1day shipping so once they have it itll only be a day more to get it! Frustrated with that and the need to get my dog on this antibiotic sooner than later for her well-being, I called my vet back asking for additional help to find this medication somewhere else or to get a different medication. They were able to switch to a different antibiotic. So the day after being told it would take 17 days for Wedgwood to fill this I had a medication locally in hand. At this point I called Wedgwood to cancel the order that was suppose to be more then 2 weeks out, to be told its shipped and cannot be cancelled. So now Ill have double the antibiotics needed and Im out $90 because Wedgwood has no idea what they are doing apparently and offered no solution for the contridiction in there informationWedgewood Pharmacy

Our apologies for the long delay time we quoted you. It does appear we misquoted you how long it would take for the medication to ship. Since you did get a medication filled at another pharmacy and no longer needed your order through Wedgewood, we have issued you a full credit.Review fromAmber K

1 starI used to use an amazing pharmacy, super helpful and kind. Unfortunately they stopped carrying the medication I need for my dog who has seizures, so I was forced to go somewhere new. Since the first interaction with Wedgewood they have been difficult to deal with. I had the prescription sent over and told them to set up auto-refill so I wouldn't have to pay the shipping charges every time. Fast forward to when I was supposed to receive the auto-refill and no email, nothing about the status. I look it up, there is nothing there. I call and they told me the medication was discontinued. Ok, great, now my vet has to call in an order again and because now it has been a few days, I have to pay for rush shipping. Again I complete the online form for auto-refill. Fast forward to when the refill is supposed to show up, I check the online status, nothing. I call and they told me this one has been discontinued. I asked why they would not inform me since I had set up auto-refill and that is important information for the customer to know, especially since this is the 2nd time. They brush me off and say I have to talk to my vet about it. I call my vet again, they AGAIN call in a refill for 5 refills, I set up the auto-refill. Today I check the status of the refill, nothing. I call and ***** the pharmacy tech tells me it's been discontinued AGAIN and they won't do anything, go figure it out. So AGAIN I am scrambling to get this much needed anti-seizure medication for my dog. And AGAIN there will be fees by Wedgewood to expedite the medication that should have already been handled. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's really unfortunate that a place with lifesaving medications is so unorganized, has a severe lack of communication, and then when a person needs help they are greeted by someone like ***** who answers the phone already exasperated to have to speak with a person.Review fromKaren T

1 starI totally agree with almost every complaint given. I have had the same problems. Used to be an excellent pharmacy. I totally felt like they cared for my animals as much as I did but whatever has happened to them, I don't think they care at all. When your pet has a live threatening disease that depends on their medication, you do not want to be told they ran out, they forgot to autofill, changes have been made in the formulary so it was delayed until they could get the correct ingredients. My cat has been on the same flavor for years and I have no problem. This time the flavor was not listed on my order but I assume it was something different as I manage to get scratched to death every time I give it to him . . . . . . every 8 hours. He has never been a problem giving medication to except pills. This is liquid and he will normally actually lick the syringe. If he misses a single dose of this medication he gets violently ill and I have almost lost him twice before because I ran out of the medication. Trying to get them on the phone is all but impossible and even asking for a supervisor last time only got me a woman who was extremely annoyed that I dared to complain. Because I was tired of the delays to begin with I told her to take it off off refill and I would just start ordering it s couple weeks early to be sure I got it on time. I now received a notice stating that I could not order it until it was assured that it was all taken before they shipped in case it went beyond the expiration date. How is that supposed to work? That guarantees he will run out and be put in a life threatening situation. My animals are my life. It is really annoying that they would think I would even give something out of date. I hope something gets done with this business. It is so hurtful to deal with people like this. *******************
