When a corporation such as bed bath and beyond sells gift cards they should be forced to honor them. They also gave out store credit on returns that wont be honored. How many people are screwed because of no notice(radio, tv or other media) about using or losing by may 8. This should be dealt with. It isn't the fault of consumers that bed bath and beyond couldn't keep control of their business. Make them honor these gift cards and store credit until they are closed. As long as they are still open and taking money, they should take gift cards and store credit

I was given a gift card for Christmas that I never used. I do not remember the amount but it is between $50-$100. BED BATH AND BEYOND IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING GIFT CARDS FOR PURCHASE AS THE STORES ARE CLOSING. Proper notice was not made! This tule was made effective apparently on May 9, 2023. They failed to notify members with advanced notice! They received money and provided no goods in return.

Hi,I have placed an order for ****** Camera on Bed Bath & Beyond website and it was never delivered. I have given a call to customer support and upon their checking was assured that a replacement camera will be sent out owing to missing package. After a few days since the call, I received no confirmation or any update and today upon trying to call, I am surprised to hear that they shut down their customer service. I understand that the company is closing out, but the proper customer service should be in place for customer who experience issues with the recently placed order I paid for. I request someone from BBB review my case and ship the ****** Nest Camera Battery in Snow (Order Number BBB3982778185)

Dear Sir or Madam,I purchased a Staub Ceramic 13" x 9" Rectangular Baking Dish from Bed Bath on 4/23/2023 using 2 gift cards:$54.79 on gift card **** **** **** **** and $32.56 on gift card **** **** **** ****. Both gift cards are still in my possession. The order number was: MPL6676645416.I had been receiving emails that the order was still processing and that it was going to be late.On Monday, I received an email that the order couldn't be fulfilled and it would be cancelled and I wouldn't be charged. Since the refund to the gift cards would no longer be accepted by Bed Bath & Beyond due to filing for Chapter 11, I went to my store this afternoon to make a purchase using the $87.35.Please let me know what I can do. Thank you.

I would like a refund on my gift cards. I just got married two weeks ago, and recieved multiple gift cards for this store (as they were on my registry). I get back from our honeymoon to find out the store is closing and the gift card deadline has passed. This is extremely unfair considering the gift cards were still allowed to be sold just weeks before closing. I have hundreds of dollars wasted that we could have really used for household items. This is suppose to be a happy time, shopping for new items for our home. Now we lost all of that

Bed bath & beyond is still open & selling product yet they will NOT accept gift cards but will take store credit? Makes no sense and seems wrong. Id understand if they were closed but they are open for business.

I had a gift card that needed to be used before May 8th because the company is going out of business and would no longer accept gift cards after that date. On May 6th I made a purchase on bedbathandbeyond.com for the amount of $52.92. I paid for it using the gift card I had. On May 9th at 5:05pm I received an email saying my order had been cancelled and they would be refunding my money back to the "My Rewards" account. Unfortunately, after May 8th money in the "My Rewards" account were no longer available for use. So I followed the rules and used my gift card before the expiration date but I won't get the item I bought and they refunded my money in a way that I can't use it. So I just gave them money and got nothing for it. If I had even a thought that this would happen I would've just bought something in the store. They should not be allowed to cancel my order then keep my money. I called the customer service number several times but was disconnected each time without getting to talk to a person. I called 2 different stores in my area and both told me the same thing, which was the money in that account can't be used...sorry. This is unacceptable even for a business that is closing. My order number in case you need it is: MPL6677741870

I created a wedding registry months ago before knowing this business would go under. When creating the registry there was a feature for the couple to pick up any gifted item in store that was purchased for them instead of it being sent from the website through the mail. Of course we had no idea the stores would close so Tuesday May 9 I was checking the registry because I knew my ***** ** store would be closing down before our July wedding. I had about $60 in my rewards balance that is to be used towards 3 items purchased off the registry. I went up to an associate to ask them to scan the barcode to allow me to get the gift items. The associate told me as of May 8, the day before, they cannot accept any rewards funds, giftcards or coupons. We never got an email from BB&B warning ** that the funds would expire. Now a family member has spent $60 on a gift that we will never receive because of arbitrary rules. The family member's order says "Processing" on their end so we assume it was supposed to say that until I picked up the items in store, which they will no longer allow. I could've picked up the items before May 8th had we known the rewards were not being accepted after that! How is it legal to take someone's money but then never allow the order to be fulfilled?

I placed an order using my gift card and credit card on May 7 2023 My order was cancelled by the store.I called them asking to replace the order. However they told that I need to wait 24 hours before I can place a new order. I was concerned because the store was closing. But I was told that I would still be able to use my funds (they transferred my gift card to funds). Even after May 9(closing store date)After that I never got any funds and I never was able to place an order.I spent more than 5 hours total with them on the phone. The store basically lied to me and stole my $350
