      I tried to make purchases online with my gift cards on May 8th. The system would not register my cards. I tried multiple times for several hours but to no avail. I tried calling customer service and was place on hold for over 3 hours & then had the call dropped. When I tried to call back, it said they were closed for the day.Thereafter, tried making my purchase yet again but still continued to experience the same issue. I am now on the line to speak with a representative and have been holding for over an hour and fear that this may turn into a repeat of yesterday.

      Bed Bath and Beyond has filed for chapter 11. They let their customers know via email on 4/23/23.They gave until May 8 to use merchandise credits, which is only 2 weeks. This is not a lot of notice for most people who do not have spare time or are traveling.I tried to use my 3 merchandise credit cards online last night and got error after error on the website until around 2am ET, another message popped up that said the cards were not valid.I would like to be able to use this credit or get money back for the amounts of the credit(s).The merchandise credit ********** numbers are below. I don't know the amounts on them because I wasn't able to check on the website.I do not live near a store.       Hi, I logged into my bed bath beyond account today and found that the money (45 dollars) in my wallet disappeared without any notification. The money comes from the gift card I redeemed into my account last year and it never expires. I tried to chat with BBB but neither online chat nor call worked. They keep saying 'wait time 5hr...' I asked other BBB customers and they had the same issue. It gives me the impression that this company is trying to take money out of customers' account wallets before going bankrupt. Please help me find a solution. Thank you very much.

      As advertised, the last day to use gift card was March 8th, 2023. I attempted to use the gift card online on March 8th and the $50 was applied to the balance, there was a remaining balance that I attempted to pay 3 different ways and kept getting an error. I removed an item from the cart to make the balance under $50 so I could just use the gift card. All of a sudden, my gift card balance is now $0 for products that I was not even able to purchase. I attempted to use the chat feature and call the customer service number, no response for either. I am requesting that you all reimburse me for the gift card and your error as you stole my $50 and have not provided response in any way.

      I found out 2 weeks ago that Bed Bath and Beyond has filed for bankruptcy, and that they would stop taking gift cards and store credits after 5/8, so both my family and I have been trying to use up our cards, but was not able to due to technical issues with Bed Bath and Beyond's website. The website was either too slow or not loading items at all, or having issues processing our gift card and store credits, or logging ** out at the last step of check out and then not letting ** log back in. My family and I have tried accessing the website multiple times throughout the day in both the east and west coasts, using different browsers, and even tried clearing our histories and using private/incognito windows, but still the same issues repeat themselves. I also tried reaching out to customer service via Chat, but couldn't get to a representative. After doing some research, it seems many people are experiencing the the same issues as **, and that it's been going on for at least a month or more. It just doesn't seem right that they give us a deadline, but then allow their website to continue having issues that prevented ** from placing orders and using our cards. Fast forward to today, It's already 5/9, and we still have 1 gift card and 4 store credits that we aren't able to use. I feel that this is borderline criminal - what they are doing is stealing our money by not fixing known issues (or maybe even created those issues themselves), which in turn kept ** from using our gift cards and store credits way before the official deadline. During one of my desperate research sessions, someone suggested that we file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It seems like you are our last hope. Please help ** request that Bed Bath Beyond either refund our gift card and store credits, or fix their website and extend the gift card and store credit deadline so that we can use up our remaining balances.       Hi, like many people who are customers at BB&Y, we opened our wedding registry with them with the awesome perk of having items that you don't end up opening/using to convert them into gift cards to spend on "something big" or when something is needed.All of a sudden they blind side everyone that they are shutting down with a ridiculous short heads up making your gc useless unless you use them in the very near future. So I go into the store and, there is nothing there. Probably not more.then 25% of the store shelf are full and it's not of any useful items. It's sheet covers and spatulas, and k-cup. Not something I could spend the over ***** dollars in have saved up in gift cards through my wedding registry. The site is slow, doesn't allow you to even select colors, the chat with us is 8 hours long and phone call is in the range.This whole fiasco is so upsetting that I was forced to buy items that I had no interest in, but at least the gift card balance was used.Can someone please be done about this truthfully unhonest situation.Thank you!

      Order 2 items from Bed Bath and Beyond.Received a message from the business was delivered but never received it. The second item has not arrived either.Tried calling and chat with the business multiple times but cant reach anyone. Went to a local store but the manager indicated that my order was placed online and therefore nothing could be done at the store.There is a pending charge in my credit card for over $1000. Because the charge is pending my back cant take any action.I am asking BBB to contact the business and help me to cancel these orders.

      I made an order and the next day found out they are going out of business or I probably wouldn't of made an order. My order number is BBB3982148743. I have returned all of the items and would like a refund. I was issues a refund for only one item. Please issue a my refund as all items were returned. I am worried because there is no way to contact customer service (phone or chat show a 5-8 hour wait) and they are now going out of business in a few weeks.
