My first complaint is that I had a failed on-line transaction in which I applied fifty dollars of gift card funds. Despite the failed transaction, the gift card funds were depleted. I spent 3 hours between customer service chats and the toll free number to have the funds reinstated to no avail over a period of 4 days - each customer service/chat agent telling me to check back in 24 hours. Im convinced the money will never be returned.My second complaint is that the app requires a verification code that it claims it sends to your email, but the code never comes to email. Even when trying to verify using Apple ID, the verification doesnt go through. So frustrating!Business Response

On 4/4, I bought a car seat for my toddler from Bed Bath and Beyond. I wouldn't have normally chosen them for this purchase, but they had the color I wanted and an eta that suited my needs. On 4/7, I received an email that my car seat would arrive within 48 hours. Unfortunately, the estimated delivery date of April 7th-10th came and went without any sign of my package. The tracking number pointed to ***** but they had no record of it. I was forced to purchase a different car seat in a color that wasn't my first choice. On 4/11, I received an email stating that my package had been delivered. However, my mother heard nothing at the door all day, and when I checked the tracking, it was clear that it wasn't my package from the floor mat. When I came home I scoured my complex checking to see if my car seat was mis-delivered. I contacted *****, but they were of no help, simply telling me to wait another 24 hours as sometimes orders get marked delivered early, even after explaining it looks like it was delivered somewhere. I reached out to Bed Bath Beyond through the email I received and was given an option to chat and explain my issue. I was given the option to receive a refund for the car seat, and was told I would have an update in 48 hours. I waited a few days before reaching out again. I was told that their loss prevention team was investigating the issue, and would keep me updated. Today, when I called again, they informed me that I needed to provide a police report for my missing car seat! I am at a loss as to why I would need to do that. I called the non-emergency police line and was told DO NOT WASTE their time filing a report for an issue like that and to contact the business for a resolution. I am now out of money for a carseat I never received, and I feel sad and frustrated. I purchased a wheelchair for my mother which rusted and is falling apart. While this was purchased a few years ago, and prior to the change in return policy, which was lifetime policy with proof of purchase, I am requesting a refund and you no longer sell the wheelchair. I was unable to find the receipt to verify proof of purchase until recently. I called the customer service number, and spoke to a rep as well as supervisor. The rep was rude, and the supervisor was worse. Spoke very belittlimg to me and spoke to me very degarading. please pull the tape. I just want a refund. I purchased a stroller/car seat system around July 2022, I wasn't due until November I purchased this item myself from my own registry. My baby arrived early or October 2022 in which I opened and put together all to realize that the bassinet was defective because I couldn't attach it to the stroller. I than began the process of trying to return or at the very least get a store credit to simply purchase another right away. I was given the run around for a while because it was out of the return window however I spoke to a manager who made an exception and provided me with a return label for *** however I had to package up etc. I returned it and still not refund. I had to call several times and they even confirmed that the item was received and that they were manually processing $255.99 luckily because I didn't believe them I told them to email me a confirmation in which they did on 12/19/2022. To date I have yet to receive said refund. I have sent follow up emails and no response. They are the worst and the most expensive. I need my money back and at this point I should be paid interest for time! I need my money back. I unfortunately even spent over $4k in nursery furniture which that was another rodeo to even get it delivered I ordered it in July and received it in October!Business Response

I had no idea the store was closing. Saw no commercials, ads, social media and no email from the company as they have my email as they send me the e-gift card that I got at Christmas time. I drove by the store today on my way to take my daughter to an appointment and saw that the store was closing so I went in to spend my gift card. I was told that as of March 9 they were no longer excepting gift cards, however as I explained to them I had no idea they were closing. I was then told I could use my gift card online on the US site I tried and they do not ship to ****** so I dont understand how this is possible. Their store is still open until Sunday , they have the hundred dollars from the person who bought me the gift card yet I have no way of using it. Not even sure this is legal ? On 4/18/2023, I went into a store that was closing in 5 days. I purchased an item that had a sticker price of $40 with signage saying it would be 70% off of the entire store. I purchased many items and there was a long line and only one cashier, so I did not argue with the total when I was done shopping. When I got home, I saw that the product rang up for $45 not the sticker price and NOT the discount. The store told me they were unable to provide a refund for the difference as they were locked out of the ability to do that. I chatted in with customer service who told me they could give me a $5 credit as a one time courtesy but nothing else. The customer service rep just kept telling me they cant honor coupons, but this wasnt a coupon, it was a clearance because your store is closing because theyre going bankrupt. So now even the $5 credit in BB&B gift cards is useless when the store near me is closing and I wouldnt dare shop online with this store. And then the audacity to ask me to be part of their yearly rewards program for $30!Business Response

I purchased several items online via Bed Bath and Beyond online order and paid with my Bed Bath and Beyond credit card on or around February 2, 2023. The orders came in separately, however one particular item arrived at my front door with the box open, and I called Bed Bath and Beyond to enter a complaint. Bed Bath and Beyond informed me that this was a third party purchase and that I needed to call the vendor. I informed Bed Bath and Beyond, that I already followed the process and procedures, noted on the website "Contact Seller". The seller is a third-party entity, apparently. brokered between Bed Bath and Beyond and I guess mDesign. I am not familiar with mDesign, as my order was placed online with Bed Bath and Beyond, paid with my Bed Bath and Beyond credit card... It is now April 18, 2023 and Bed Bath and Beyond has failed to issue my credit.I want a credit for the item that arrived damaged, as it cannot be utilized, the feet on 3 of the plastic bins is not usable and two lids were cracked "Beyond" repair. I purchased a bunk bed from Bed Bath and Beyond on March 21, 2023 and paid ******, yet on March 27, 2023 I recieved a convertible carseat. I called the store only for them to tell me that the bed was out of stock. The lady offered me another bed but I declined and told her that I wanted a refund. She told me that I couldn't get a refund until there was a scan for the carseat with ****** I sat the carseat out and they eventually came and picked it up. On April 4, the carseat was picked up from my house. On April 9, I was told that they needed to email the warehouse so that they could issue my refund. Then on April 17, I got an email saying that they were sending me a replacement bed. I called and told them that I didn't request a replacement but a refund instead. They then told me that I would have to wait for the replacement to be sent in order to receive a refund. I was able to get someone whom I assume was in upper management and he immediately issued a refund for ******. Ive asked for my full amount yet they have me less. I received a $100 CAD gift card for my wedding to Bed Bath & Beyond. I went to go redeem it on April 17 and was told I could not as the store declared bankruptcy. Previously, in February 2023, I had been to the store and redeemed other gift cards from my wedding and they said I had until the store's closure, April 30, 2023, to redeem my gift card. I read articles online saying that I can redeem in ******* but when I tried to see the balance on ******* site, it stated that my gift card wasn't active. I would like Bed Bath & Beyond to refund me the $100 I received for my wedding.
