On Feb 2023 i applied and was approved for Bed Bath and Beyond credit card which includes their rewards + membership for the 1st year. I received and activated the new card and asked about the benefits and was told it should be automatic since i applied through their site and to contact bed bath and beyond if needs support.2/28/2023 Chatted with support on line and was told that a ticket was escalated and should take 24 to 48 hours.Received and email asking for additional information and i provided the info.Asked for an update few times with no response. Called customer support and was told that another ticket needs to be opened and escalated to their Rewards + team and was assured that they will follow up. Order BBB3977690517 was canceled and no reason was given. *********** decided to use our bed bath & beyond gift cards to place that order. Little did we know the issues that would come from doing so. Our gift cards were never refunded after our order was canceled. *** reached out to a representative via live chat to address my concerns and they advised me that only the account used to place the order would be refunded via rewards, not the actual gift cards itself. But advised me that if I wanted a refund back to a physical card, they would be mailed to my address. It is now March 14th and I still dont have my refund. I demand a refund in full back to the gift cards or a reissue of a new gift card.Business Response

I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond store located at **************************************************************************************** on March 10, 2023. When I checked out, the clerk informed me that I could save an additional 20% just by purchasing a "Rewards Plus" membership. The membership would cost $29.00 but I would save over $100 by joining. l said that I would do it and finished paying for my purchase. I was informed that the "Rewards Plus" membership would auto-renew but by signing into the website, I could stop the membership. There is no way to turn off the auto-renew membership. I have called the company and they told me that there is no way for them to verify that the auto-renewal was turned off. Supposedly, they have no way to notify their customers before the auto-renew occurs and when a customer calls, there is no way for them to turn it off via their help line *************). On February 23rd, I placed 3 orders online(# MPL7207911131, MPL7207911169, and BBB7207911185). All 3 orders got canceled the same day for an unknown reason. I have not received any email for a refund(which I found odd), and waited until after the time period for a typical refund to contact support. I've contacted support multiple times now, and they would open an inquiry on my behalf, tell me to wait 72 hours just to receive nothing. The support has been nothing but unhelpful in this matter, and I'm hoping to get my refund as soon as possible for all 3 orders.Business Response

I am writing to express my disappointment with the way Bed Bath and Beyond has handled my recent order, BBB6671747662 that is missing. Despite multiple promises of receiving a refund by Bed Bad and Beyond, I have yet to receive it. In addition, the lack of transparency in the communication and resolution process has been concerning.Upon contacting my state's attorney general's office for consumer protection, I was advised to file a complaint here since Bed Bath and Beyond should follow ethical business practices as well as comply with regulations set forth by the Better Business Bureau and the *******************. However, it appears that the company has failed to meet these standards in my case.On February 22nd, 2023, I was supposed to receive my order, but it was never delivered. After contacting Bed Bath and Beyond, I was promised a replacement, as documented in the chat transcript from February 25th with representative ***. Despite this promise, no replacement was sent and no confirmation email was received, causing further inconvenience and frustration.Upon contacting Bed Bath and Beyond again on February 27th, representative ****** assured me that the replacement request had been processed and would be shipped within 3-6 days. However, once again, no confirmation or tracking information was provided, leading me to believe that the company was not following through on its promises.On March 2nd, via telephone, a representative informed me that instead of a replacement, a refund would be processed in 48 hours to my original payment method, but once again, no confirmation email was received on my end. On March 5th I called once again and ****, a Bed Bath and Beyond representative told me that I should wait three more days, but once again NO confirmation email was received. I believe that Bed Bath and Beyond has failed to meet the standards of ethical business practices and transparency, as well as complying with the regulations set forth by the Better Business Bureau and the *******************. I am asking that the company follows through on its promises and provides a refund to my original payment method for a total of $487.65. This complaint will not be considered resolved until this request is met.I urge Bed Bath and Beyond to take this complaint seriously and address the issues outlined above in a timely and professional manner.Business Response

On 2/28, placed an order online that incl. six 3x6 candles. On 3/2, one 3x3 candle arrived. I contacted CS thru online chat twice & once by phone. 1st agent said she'd placed a replacement order, then said I had to return the wrong item by bringing it back to a store. I didn't feel it was my responsibility to waste my fuel to bring the incorrect item back. The 2nd agent said the replacement order won't ship unless they get proof the item was returned, then said I should wait & see if the remaining candles ship before returning the wrong candle, just in case. That concerned me so when I spoke to 3rd agent, he also stated replacement order won't ship unless item returned. I repeated again, I didn't think it was fair I had to go thru the trouble of returning when I didn't make the mistake & repeated what the other agent said about waiting to see if remaining candles are received. Next thing I know, he proceeded to cancel the replacement order w/o my permission stating it was better to wait to see if other candles will be ok before having to request replacement. When I said I was worried the candles would become out of stock if I waited, he said there were 103 in stock, not to worry. On 3/3, was contacted by ******** of Corp. Escalations, after I had submitted a complaint on their site. She stated she put replacement order thru & I didn't have to return wrong item. Said she'd follow up to see if I rec'd remaining four candles. She didn't, even after I replied I hadn't gotten the remaining candles. On 3/4, only one candle from original order arrived. On 3/5, contacted CS, was told remaining four items still processing, est. delivery between 3/5-3/8. On 3/6, replacement candle arrived, but there were two instead of one. Today, 3/7, contacted CS to follow up and was told candles are out of stock.Business Response

So the bed bath & beyond store in ********** ** is going out of business. Today 3/2/2023 I go in because everything is marked down to 40% - 60%. So I found a comforter that had already been marked down. Original price $170 marked down 20% = $136.00 Next mark Down 30% = $119.00. Today its 40% off and they gonna tell me I gotta pay the original price of $170 and then get the 40% off that. Thats high way robbery. Why are u still trying to get more money off the original price. The comforter been marked 2 times already. People beware of this because these stores going out of business and still trying to profit off of people. And because they going out of business the coupons cant be used. Now I see why the store is closing. I left the stuff there and left. Not getting beat outta my money.Business Response

I'm sorry to hear of the experience you received on this matter, I understand how frustrating this may have been. However, all ****ed down items are off of the original purchase not off of the already discounted price. The previous **** downs (20% and 30%) were off of the original price as well. 20% off original price of 170 was a total of $136, 30% off of 170 was a total of $119. Please note all sales are final in these closing stores.

I placed a order on 2.20.23 with customer service. I received a email from BBB and their was a error. I immediately called BBB & informed them customer service agent **** corrected the error and made the correction. Order #BBS667164102. On2/20/2023 received email from BBB "once your order ships we will send another email. Apparently the items was not shipped received email from BBB on 2/22/2023 a refund was issued. I CANNOT get into my email on BBB to see where a credit was issued. I followed up with numerous calls to BBB & informed them I cannot get into my email on their site that's why I originally placed the order on the phone with customer service. I still want the products to be shipped because I do not know who cancel the item but it was not me. I had ordered items from BBB order number BBB3974705420 i received the items on 2/17/23, i could hear the box rattling,the items were broken .I took pictures sent email to BB and also called them.I spke with a lady **** and she assigned me a case number and asked If I want replacement or refund I said send me refund as I cant handle another hassle of broken items .she also sent me an email so I could attach pictures of broken items which I did .case number 230217-13366152.After I sent the email ,I called BBB again and spoke with ***** SHE TOLD ME THAT ***** had already submitted request for refund and I should see it in 48 hors.I called BBB again today 2/21/23 and ,wasa told that I chose replacemment.they are lying that I chose replacement.THAY ARE THE **** LYING.In the Past also BBB has tried to cheat and commit fraud by lying and not issuing refund.i want my refund.SUCh poor customer service and they are cheats and fraud.you can clearly see ,how poorly the package was packed and the broken items.Business Response
