      I gave a Bed, Bath and Beyond gift card to a family member for Christmas this past year. That gift card is no longer available for use. After attempting to contact the company, I was unable to speak to a live person or find some other explanation other than. It was purchased before the company was sold and is no longer available for use. If this was going to happen, why were gift cards even being sold last holiday season. To me it was an unfair and shady practice, especially without giving those customers purchasing gift cards a warning. If I had known, I would have chosen a gift card for another retailer.

      To Whom it May ****************** Bath & Beyond (Formerly Overstock.com) recently acquired the intellectual property (the name, brand, and company rights) of Bed Bath & Beyond. On 8/1/23 Overstock's website was converted to bedbathandbeyond.com and we began taking orders under this brand. 

      Bed Bath & Beyond (Formerly Overstock.com's) purchase did not include orders, inventory, gift cards, or store fronts.

      The organization formerly known as Bed Bath & Beyond did announce the expiration of gift cards for May 8th, 2023, as well as having announced their bankruptcy and asset sale in summer, 2023. Bed Bath & Beyond (Formerly Overstock.com) was not involved in any such decision or announcements regarding gift cards. 

      Bed Bath & Beyond (Formerly Overstock.com) cannot honor gift cards issued before Aug 1st, 2023.

      I live in ******* and have a vacation home in Alabama. I was in ******* during the second week of August. I was looking online for a new chair for my vacation home and saw one on the **** ***************************** website. On the webpage for the chair, there was a flashing box with a countdown clock that said to order within four hours and so many minutes to receive the chair by August 11. I ordered the chair, since I was not leaving to go back to ******* until August 13. I kept an eye on the tracking and on the morning of August 11, it said that a label had been created, but *** had not yet received the package. I immediately contacted **** ***************************** to request they cancel the order and pull it before *** picks it up. I was told they would cancel it and send a replacement to my ******* address instead. Two days after arriving back in *******, I received a notification on my on August 15 that the chair had been delivered. I called **** ***************************** and explained the situation and asked that they give me an extended return time. They said they would send *** back to pick it up and they would pay the shipping. That would be fine, except that, once again, I will not be back in ******* until the fall, in October or November. In the meantime, I had someone put the chair in the house so that it didn't get rained on, damaged, or stolen. Now, *** had made two attempts to pick up the chair and will make another attempt tomorrow. I called *** to explain the situation to them, and they said they will not pick it up without someone being there. Nonetheless, I will have my neighbor go back to my house and put the chair back on the porch in hopes that *** will pick it up. In light of the circumstances, I think it would be reasonable for **** ***************************** to simply give me an extended return window until I am back in ******* in the fall.

      I placed an order on the official ********************************* website last month. I have the confirmed order number on my phone. I also have the confirmation of shipping. I ordered a scooter ?? that I found and it was only $29.99. The original price was like $900. For weeks I could track the delivery. Then all of a sudden, it wouldnt track anymore. Today I called BBB and they said that there was no order or tracking number for this item. I told him that I have the confirmation of this on my phone. He said that I must of been scammed, but I dont believe that I was. The item I presume was mismarked, but I always thought that they have to honor that. I have those on my phone but dont know how to send them to you. I fell on the ice last year, and its hard for me to walk, and thats why I ordered this. The gentleman that I talked to said after he had told me that there was NO order for this that this was an expensive item!! So how did he know what I ordered, if there was no order! Thank you!

      The date of the transaction was 07/20/23 under order *********. I reached out to the store for a return payment. They fail to provide the product or my refund. In addition to not being responsive to the issue.

      I have a credit card with Bed, Bath and Beyond, with a small outstanding balance. Even as the company has since gone out of business, I was told by a phone representative today that I will be reported to the credit bureau. I think this is ludicrous and irresponsible, and I should have a right to seek legal action.

      I purchased an item from the Bed Bath and Beyond website for a desk. The quality and construction of the desk is poor, and certainly does not reflect the description on the website. I requested a refund, including the cost of return shipping since the item is not as advertised. I was told by Bed Bath and Beyond that it was purchased from a Marketplace seller and since the seller will not pay for return shipping, that is my responsibility. It was understood when I made the purchase that I was purchasing from Bed Bath and Beyond and I expect them to pay for the return shipping costs. I have been given the runaround for a week already and they have refused to connect me to a decision maker. I would like a full refund of my item, including return shipping.

      I went on the site bed bath and beyond and purchase on July 8 *** home where at the several weeks of waiting never receive a email for delivery try to call the store store informed me that I never made a purchase there and that the site that I bought from was a scam. I have been fighting for weeks now almost I might try to retrieve my money from my bank and from cash app, which is both have been unavailable to produce my money back to me

      We also own a $50 gift certificate of BBAB purchased in April 2023 and now we just learned that it went bankrupt and wouldnt honor gift cards bought before May 2023.Is it a scam to steal money from us customers when they were selling gift cards weeks before going out of business? Is there a class action lawsuit that demands justice for all customers?
