      Terrible! Scammers. Good old bait and switch. Sent different item than what I ordered- twice, found out the item I ordered was out of stock. Contacted them 4 times for a refund after providing them the same information over and over again, I received the same story each time... "Please note for the refund it will take up 24 to 48 hours for the process and 3 to 5 business days to be reflected in your account." No refund has been issued. There should be a NO STAR option!

      Bed Bath and Beyond had a Black Friday promotion that if customers spend $300 or more, they would receive a $100 reward. I made an in-store purchase of over $300 on 11/30/2022 and have not received the $100 after calling customer service two times and online chatting them four times to try to get my $100 reward. Each time, I was told either they escalated the issue, or an in-store purchase does not quality, or there was an IT issue, or the rewards has been approved and just needs ***** hours to get issued, but I would never hear back from BB&B and had to reach out to follow up. On the 4th time of talking to customer service, I expressed my extreme frustration (case ######-########), the agent told me "Your request will definitely be handled within 48 hours, and you will receive an email regarding it within that time frame." The case was not handled within 48 hours nor I received an email regarding it. So I reached back out to customer service (case ######-########) and was told the $100 rewards is on its way but needs 24 hours. Two days later, still nothing from Bed Bath Beyond. On my last time of reaching out to customer service (case ######-########), the agent was even more careless and told there was an IT issue and needs ***** hours to resolve it. At that point, I was very fed up with how irresponsible, careless, poorly trained these 6 agents I talked to and concluded BB&B is a store I will no longer shop at, nor recommend to friends and family. They falsely advertised the promotion, and even after I gave them 6 chances, they still could not fix the problem.

      I placed and paid order # DEC 1, 2022 TOTAL $60.07 ORDER NUMBER BBB Seven Two Zero One One Zero Three Seven Four Zero nuLOOM ******* Curves **** 2-Foot 8-Inch x 8-Foot Runner in Cream The website showed a delivery estimated between Dec 03-Dec 10. It is now Dec 12. I have declined the charge with ***************** I purchased the same carpet from ********** for the same price and received the item within 2 days. I know that BB&B is close to bankruptcy. Please cancel this order immediately. Obviously, your vendors are nervous about sending products to you for sale due to the pending bankruptcy and the problems at the executive level along with a suicide. Again, the charge has been declined with Amex. Please cancel the charge immediately. You will not be paid for this runner rug. As of Dec 12, your website shows no information conerning shipping or even estimated date of shipping. Just shows vendors concerns about being paid in case you declare bankruptcy. Your economic condition is obvious. Thank you, *************************

      Tried to order a coffee maker with my card. They cancelled it without notifying me and when I asked why they cancelled it, they said they couldnt verify my information and refused to elaborate.

      I was in my local Bed Bath & Beyond at the **************************** in **********. Two days before their Black Friday sale. I saw that they had a Dyson V10 Cyclone vacuum cleaner on sale for $399.99. I asked the sales person and the manager if I could buy one and was told that they are Out of stock and after checking their inventory they said that they checked the inventory within a 25 mile radius of our location and still could not find one available. Then they told me that they could order one for me online. However, after trying, they could not. The item is not available anywhere. So I asked of they could give me a Raincheck on the item and was told No they dont do rain checks. I then asked if theyd could sell me the display model and they said No that they couldnt sell me an Active item. I guess they just display they item and perhaps advertise it for sale just to get you to come into the store and buy something else. I thought that type of activity was illegal. I took photos of the sale signs in case anyones interested.

      My account was randomly flagged for trying to purchase an item. I have been contacting BBB for over a week now trying to resolve it. I have spoken to 3 managers who have all told me that the loss prevention/financial/order inquiry team will contact me to resolve the issue.       The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Absolutely garbage and terrible. Called five times to rectify my situation - and realized their tactic is to just tell you want you want to hear and end the phone call. No honesty, no accountability, no transparency. On top of that, grossly overpriced. No wonder their stores are closing/dropping like flies. I will NEVER shop at Bed Bath and Beyond again.

      Would give 0 stars if I could. Promised $100 rewards with my purchase via chat, and then they said my order was not eligible for the rewards. Spent several calls and chats to communicate with the worst customer service that I have had. The first agent promised me I would receive the rewards after my item shipped out. The second agent told me the rewards would be issued two days after the ************* week after the delivery, I called them again, and the agent told me the rewards would be there after 5-7 business days. Then it was today, called them and talked with ******, who talked with the customer with a GREAT altitude and KINDLY spelled her name for me to complain to her supervisor. Such a SWEET agent and such an AMAZING company. So wonder it was bankrupt!

      I am beside myself with upset. I purchased some items on bedbathandbeyond.com. There are charges on my credit card from BedBathandBeyond that are invalid. My guess is that it happened when I had trouble with Apple Pay. I called BBB - was told it was told there was nothing they could do since it was not associated with an order (RIGHT) and to call my credit card company. Would not escalate for **** called my credit card company - they were awesome. Verified it is not fraud and is merchant error. Suggested I wait to see if it clears and then file a dispute. Bummer that ********** has to dispute for me because BBB would not respond. So...I called BBB back - same run around until I asked to speak to a supervisor (again). No supervisor available. This time the agent took my information and said she could file a request.Why the run around, BBB? Why not have someone available to take second tier support calls like most customer oriented companies. Done done done with BBB and do not recommend shopping on their website. Logging this here because I think this is VERY POOR business practice to not partner with your customer when there is an invalid charge.

      Promised a gift card with my purchase. Took a screenshot and it said 50 dollar gift card with purchase. Was not provided. then argued with customer service for 3rd time after not receiving (past 4 weeks). The first 2 indicated i will for sure recieve 3-4 weeks. Then after not recieving they refused to honor it. So false advertising. Have the screenshots and all.Terrible customer service, who basically did nothing, except delay until the next. 3rd tried to delay and i would not let them. Got angry and basically said i was not getting it.
