      I signed up for a CD online; when it matured, I had trouble getting in contact with anyone. When I finally did talk to someone, they told me I could only have the check for the amount mailed to me, not transferred to another bank account. That is ridiculous and I will never deal with this bank again.

      Absolutely the worst bank I have ever done business with. I received an email from Valley Bank stating they are closing all of my accounts because they received derogatory information about me from ChexSystems. I knew that had to be a mistake so I immediately pulled a copy of my ChexSystems report and it was 100% clean, with no negatives in it.I forwarded the ChexSystems report to Valley Bank proving they were in error and they decided to double down and insist my accounts are being closed due to ChexSystems and that they no longer will do business with me.Valley Bank is fraudulently using the ChexSystems name and reputation as an excuse to close accounts for other reasons. Avoid this bank at all costs.

      ***** a check to a company (that uses Valley) and Valley stated they returned the check due to not being able to locate my account (at another bank). I have had the account for years and have checked with my bank and they do not show where Valley ever presented the check for payment.There is something seriously wrong when a bank cannot process a legitimate check with a legitimate bank account.

      I opened an account with ********************** only to close it two months later. One week ago, I attempted to deposit my Cashier's Check in my account. I went to the Valley Bank, ******** branch first. After waiting ************************************************************************************** she was unable to deposit my cashier's check because she needed signature approval. The attendant asked to have my telephone number because she was going to hold on to my check and would call me in the morning. The check was a substantial amount and I was extremely uncomfortable with her keeping my check. Today, I took my cashier's check to the Valley Bank, *********** branch. I was extremely offended at the type of questions, I was being asked about the origin of the check. I provided my valid state ID and I verified all the banking information on file. After waiting 30 minutes, the police showed up. I heard Windis **** ****** talking to the police about "a check" so I stood up. I was the only one in the bank branch so I knew they were talking about my cashier's check. I walk over to ****** and ask is there a problem. He yells at me and says "your trying to deposit a fake check". I asked if they called the issuing bank to verify the validity of the cashier's check. ****** **** ****** stated the issuing bank will not release any information because the check is not valid. By now, 2 additional police officers arrive. I sat down and called the issuing bank. I am now surrounded by 4 officers. The police officers verify the check is valid, it was issued to me and it has never been cashed. After being detained in the bank for roughly two hours my nightmare of an ordeal was over. Needless to say, I withdrew all the funds and closed my account. I HOPE NO ONE HAS TO EVERY EXPERIENCE WHAT I EXPERIENCED TODAY! Going into a bank will forever be traumatic for me.

      If I could give this bank a zero rating, I would. I have had a mortgage with Valley for 1 year. Initially, they incorrectly calculated my escrow by $400. It took 7 months to correct, despite multiple calls with no callbacks. In addition, Valley has never paid my taxes on time and I have received a delinquent notice every time, requiring me to call Valley to get someone to pay the bill. When I have an opportunity to refinance my mortgage with another company, I will

      Valley Bank is the absolute worst bank I have dealt with in 38 years as an accountant for commercial banking). They are 100% unresponsive. The online balances are consistently incorrect. It is impossible to get through on the phone. I really have no idea how they are still functioning.

      I HAVE AN HELOC ACCOUNT WITH ********************** MY INSURANCE AGENT DIDENT SEND ON TIME PROOF OF MY INSURANCE AND WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION THEY DEBIT MY ACCOUNT FROM ***** FARGO OVER TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS WITHOUT MY CONSENT !!!!THEY WERE ONLY AUTHORIZE TO DEBIT MY ACCOUNT THE MONTHLY CHARGES ABOUT $1900.00 DOLLARS.

      I would like to thank the people at the Wayside N.J. Branch off route 35.There was a password issue that had me very worried but the people at that branch fixed it for me when I went in.I had been hacked and have had a case open with Protect My I.D. And I have taken other measures so I was very worried but not any more, certainly not with Valley.A plus for their efforts.
