      This bank is horrible. I am a business customer. Today their entire web site in down and you can't see any credits, deposits, etc. When you call to complain, no one knows why this has happened and no one can tell me when this issue will be resolved.Average wait time to speak with a person is 30 minutes.DON'T BANK WITH VALLEY!!!!

      We paid off our truck loan on September 28th, only to have #ValleyBank take another payment out of our bank account on October 17th, AND send us a notice that we still owed money on the loan! We have since called and spoken to three employees (with not one return call). We have also emailed another employee, and still have no resolution! Do yourself a favor and use another bank. We certainly will.

      Financed a new loan with the dealership and wanted to issue $30,000 of payments on the loan to avoid interest being charged. They make it exceptionally difficult to pay off loans and do not process payments efficiently in order to ***imize the interest charge. For example, I can only pay upto $10,000 online. And consumers are limited to only one payment per statement period. So, if you want to make additional payments, you must call the customer service department. After multiple calls with the customer service department begging them to take my funds, the customer service agent (*******) was able to take $7,500 over the phone (daily *** limit via phone) and waived the phone payment fee of $10. Its been 3 business days and the funds have not been taken out of my account. Which means the loan accrues daily interest. Absolutely avoid this bank if you can. **** be filing a complaint with the **** and the state attorney generals office. Very sketchy bank.

      Valley cut off my ATM cards without notice. I have banked there for over 10 years, two accounts plus a CD, never overdrawn. They could not explain why this happened. Their 800# for customer care is understaffed. Rather than wait 30 minutes on hold, I went to my hometown branch. They couldn't explain it either. The best they could suggest is that I wait 7 days for new cards to be postal-mailed, then come into the branch to activate them. Or I could drive to an inconvenient branch that has a card-making machine. ***, why doesn't every branch have this machine? Because Valley is now happy to waste the customer's time on problems that the bank itself created. This bank used to be great, but they've become short-staffed. The experienced people seem to have all retired or been downsized.

      Valley bank is still a small community bank, even though it is one of the largest. The branch level is still inviting and customer service is not the easiest to get in touch with, but I still respect their eagerness to please and help me every time I call or have an issue, or simply just want advice. thank you!

      This bank has a lousy customer service, it is very difficult to get someone to answer the phone, some employees don't seem to have had a decent training and it seems the bank does not believe in transparency. I was a **************** customer (two commercial loans) and now I am stuck with this bank against my will. I was trying to find out their minimum borrower requirements for borrowers but they do not disclose the information on line. Shouldn't it be the same for all customers?

      Worst Bank Ever! So many hidden rules! I deposited my work check you tell me youll give me half in 6 days and the other half on the 7th day! What type of BS is that! Yall **** and i see why the parking lot is always empty

      Signed up for VNB credit card in 11/22,with the a assumption that if I spend $500.00 in 3 months I would get $150.00 back on my CC.I made my purchase as needed to get my $150.00 back but CC company said that I had signed up for $1,000.00 option and do not qualify for $150.00 return.After numerous phone calls to VNB,visiting my VNB branch and CC emails and phone calls to card company.I have been a VNB customer for a very long time and cannot believe how I am being treated over a very simple CC problem.VNB owes me $150.00.

      We had Valley National for a car loan. We called and asked for a pay-off amount. They gave us an amount and we sent the money immediately. We have been waiting since August for the title to come in. We received a call today from a debt collector for ******************** for $30.00-$10 of which is interest! We were stunned. We have been waiting to get the title and the Bank put us into collection! Never received any notice or information that there was an outstanding balance. Would never recommend this bank to anyone.
