Without question the worst online experience I've ever had; they make it impossible to pay on your loan. I can't believe this is a real bank. Their own website wouldn't allow me to submit a complaint...tells you all you need to know.Valley Bank

Someone HELP ME PLZ!! This bank is god awful horrible terrible not enough words. Lets start its 2024 but bank treats u like its 1984 Then calling in 800 number HELLO ANYONE THERE filing disputes no one cares to look at then declines or how about this It acct gets hacked then closed new card issued merchants trying to refund u from other purchases u made CANT FOR SOME REASON SO THE MERCHANT TELLS U DIRECTLY FILE DISPUTE I DO FOR REFUND NOT GIVEN well rep hears FRAUD HOW IN THE ***** so im given temp provisional credit since bank is 1984 u have to get some stupid paperwork to sign I never got they took back the money I was like what it said in dispute no error happened I know I made the purchase but its not fraud hello valley u listening long story short they took my money The dispute TEAM MANAGER SUPERVISOR ******************* DO HER JOB RIGHT BC I HAD 10 supervisors try to reopen the dispute its my money there keeping I never got merchandise Oh one better my online acct was closed bc they got fraud alert when its not fraud *****!! So now I filed other disputes not put in how when whats going on valley Now as I write Ive been on hold 52 mins for the same c*** trying to get my money back bc again no disputes written I said u record our conversations go pull it up no sorry I got a lawyer yes paying a lawyer I can write a novel bottom line they dont do as they say imagine filing same dispute 23 times I do every dispute I had I had to go over dozens of supervisors not even reps bc I dont trust them And ******* omg no words giving attitude when Im at the branch saying I have to read all this I know AND WONDERFUL ******* I have a lot to read bc I didnt open single email in weeks to reopen a dispute that was straight forward I mean I have seller day do dispute Ill approve bc they couldnt process refund Why am I fighting to get my money bank VB famous words Sorry I dont know u get a lawyer everyone sings vomits People find another bank trust meValley Bank

This Bank is very terrible at resolving and fixing their own mistakes. I have a mortgage and escrow account with ********************** that is used to pay my property tax and insurance. They over paid my property tax (probably paid someone else property tax) using my money leaving my escrow in a negative balance which then increased my monthly mortgage payments by **** dollars a month. I call the 800 number which takes forever to get on to someone just to read whats on the statement. They dont understand my problem and always hangs up the phone. These people from the 800 number are unprofessional and bad at their jobs. I have been calling every day for the past two weeks and my issue isnt fixed yet they tell me to hold on and disconnect the phone call. Valley bank is stealing my money and is refusing to help me out. Bad service! I wish I had did my research on this bank before accepting them to do business with.Valley Bank

I have had only bad experiences with attempting to resolve questions about my mortgage loan by calling the 800 numbers. Today, a lovely representative answered my first call but could not help me. She then transferred me to another line where I left a callback number 3 hours ago and have still not heard back from anyone. The last time I tried calling the 800 number, no one ever called me back and I had to go in person to the local branch to get help. Bad service!Valley Bank

I have had the worse experience trying to do business with Valley Bank. I applied for a home equity loan and bumbling through the process was beyond belief!!! The miscommunication and the fees that they wanted to charge was outrageous. 0 Stars!Valley Bank

On Wednesday, December 27, 2023, after 8 pm, I went to the *** of the bank where I have my personal account, to withdraw money from my Blue Bird account.The bank is **********************, and is located in **********, **. I went to the bank's ***, immediately at the entrance, as I do every week.I put my Blue Bird card into the *** to withdraw $300. Everything processed normally, until it was time to receive the money; the *** was taking longer than normal to release the money.And after waiting for a few more moments, a message appeared on the screen that a malfunction had occurred trying to release the money and that the transaction had been cancelled.I took the card out of the ***, and since I needed to withdraw money and according to the *** the transaction had been cancelled, I tried again.In this second attempt I was able to withdraw $300 dollars without problem.A few hours later at home, I wanted to check my account statement in Blue Bird online site, and that first attempt, the failed one, was reported as if the transaction had been completed, together with the $3.75 *** fee.I went to the bank on the afternoon of December 29, to report the incident, and ask for at least a note that I could send to Blue Bird to verify what happened, but they told me that they could not do it; that I would simply report it to the bank that endorses the card. It was a Valley Bank's *** malfunction, and they could not give me at least a receipt from that failed transaction. I have had an account in Valley Bank for several years. I have online banking and for some mysterious reason, I was not approved for bill pay. Over a month and a half and always the same message. your application is in review and it might take up to 2 bushiness days to be approved. Numerous phone calls and waiting for someone to answer. the phone call. Everyone I spoke to told me they would fix the problem. One supervisor, told me she knew what the problem was and would have to do something from her end to fix the problem ******** visits to the branch where I opened my account and no one was able to give me a reason for this. After sending an email to the **** I received a response from ******* who informed me that access to Bill *** was not approved. When I asked the reason, I was not given any details. Just that I had a problem with another banking institute. When I asked, there was no answer. Should I not be given a valid reason?? Tired of the situation, I opened an account with a local bank. Took me 45 minutes to complete the paperwork. Signed up for online payment. Wrote a check and clicked on pay. Instantly I got a response that the check was confirmed.I will be closing my account at ********************** soon and will be taken my business elsewhere.I really regret this decision as everyone at the branch is very helpful and courteous but it became necessary.Valley Bank

There should be a class action lawsuit against this bank. They make up their own rules and make paying back your car loan impossible. Even though our contract states that we can pay back the car loan at anytime, one person over the phone says $3000 **** another $7500, another $10,000 every 27 days. They want us to go into the branch or use the website but the website won't take our payment and since we work during the day - we will loose even more money having to take work off to go into the branch which makes no sense seeing that they can clearly take payment over the phone - they just won't. The financing contract says nothing about these limitations and Valley Bank is doing it's best not to take our money so that they can make as much money off interest is all I can assume.They also put our address in the system wrong which is causing further problems and want us to once again travel to the branch during the work day and get a letter notarized to fix their problem. If you finance your car - MAKE SURE NOT TO USE VALLEY BANK.Valley Bank

I obtained a loan for a vehicle and always had automatic withdrawals to pay the account. On 3 separate occasions after being told that I have a balance owed, I had 3 different customer reps tell me 3 different things: The first said (*******) he saw the balance owed but wasn't sure why and would get it to billing. The second (*******) said they had a switch to a newer billing software and that my bill wasn't due till later in December with no fees owed and they would reflect that on my account. Now I have a third person (*******) telling me that I do owe and all she can do is send this to billing. How many other people are they hitting with these very shady fees.Valley Bank
