************ was not being charged rental prior to this time. Letters were sent out to each customer in advance to the rental being charged. This is still a great value for ************, as he is on our Secured Plans and has been for years. We thank ************ for being a valued customer.

They charged about 21/2 times what other company is charging. When I spoke with person they said that it was just a way for new customers to go with that company. However in talking to a friend who does business with other company he has been paying that same price for years. Suburban is terribly priced. After I use this tank I am looking elsewhere.

************** uses about the same each year ~30 Gallons. This year he took ****, last year it was **** gallons. Because of the small volume he is on our highest price scale. However, ************** is only paying $10.00 in rent per year and should be paying $72.00. Compared to our competitors, he would be paying much more after the New pricing expired and may have a lower price per gallon but will have a higher minimum usage fee and tank rent fee with other companies.

Suburban propane just filled our tank and got an invoice for $6,000.00. There's no way no how it worth that much but that's what the invoice stated. That comes at about $6.75 per gallon more so that the premium gasoline. I've called several times and still no response

Our local manager has been trying to reach this customer and we have played phone tag a few times last week. We would like to discuss a few options that we can offer to address this customer's concerns. We kindly ask that our call is returned at the customer's convenience so that we may resolve this personally.

I have been calling your local and regional manager leaving voice meals and text messages constantly if the option does not significantly lower your price then there's really no point in discussion. We are going through financial hardship right now and any deviation from our monthly expenditures will cause greater problems. I can not accept your local proposal when out neighbors are experiencing reasonable and fair pricing from their servicing companies. Your local manager indicated there are several factors involved in the price increase and yet he doesn't seem to understand that other companies have similar dynamics they are dealing with but yet offers balance and fair cost.

OMG! Stay Away! Stay Far Far Away! worse than ********** I owned a home in ** and had Suburban Propane for ten years! Its not easy to switch propane companies. I sold the home and they are telling me I have to pay for the new owners propane..nothing they say makes sense. Do yourself a favor and do not use Suburban Propane.

The transfer of the propane in the tank is governed by the real estate laws in **************, not Suburban. Unless a seller explicitly excludes the propane from their real estate contract, it is included in the sale of the home. We are not able to refund customer for the ******************** in the tank since it was transferred to the buyers as part of their contract for sale of the home during closing.

I have been waiting on a tank for a generator since February. In February they said they were booked out until August, so I agreed to August. They finally scheduled a site visit for the 31st of October, but could not show for reason of a callout. Now rescheduled for Nov. 11. Even "IF" they show on Nov. 11 no clue when I can get a tank delivery. Problem after problem. Unreal

Our local manager just spoke with ************** and let him know that we will set his tank on Thursday, 11/10/22. He is OK with that.

On two occasions I went to my on line account and requested a delivery, never received a delivery. Called customer service, spoke with customer service in **********, she was argumentative and the call was dropped, customer service from their *********** office called, they told me to call when my tank is at 50%, that is odd, I informed them my driveway is a mile long in the forest and I wanted to get the tanks topped off before the winter weather starts, at that time I learned the price tripled. If your looking for a company with good customer service, look elsewhere.

I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS COMPANY. SUBURBAN PROPANE IS BAD BUSINESS!! DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID BY USING THIS COMPANY. THEY OVER CHARGE WAAAAYY TOO MUCH!At one of my rental properties, we have two tanks we're using from this company. The tanks are for a standby generator. The tanks were passed along from the previous owner. After we moved in they sent us a bill for renting both tanks. After a year of being there we realized we don't lose power enough for the need to rent two tanks. Called customer service and asked one be removed. At first they were leaning towards coming out and emptying the tanks and leaving us one. Then they changed there minds. They stated it was because the propane was old. We then told them that's fine. We don't want any deliveries made here until the tanks are emptied and then we will remove one. We have now had the building for 5 years and hadn't even used a half the tank's propane. We moved out and now have people renting. These people put up a fence because they have two dogs. We recieved a call from them stating there was a bill left on there door from suburban propane. YES, this means the driver climbed over the fence and filled the tanks again. REALLY! I do believe at this point this could be trespassing. I then called and got through. The guy stated we were on auto fill. He also stated there were notes that we want to remove a tank. It's obvious were not on auto fill if we want a tank removed. He then stated he would call his manager and figure this out and call me within the week. Three weeks later no phone call. I called back and got a woman. Told her the situation and she said someone from my jurisdiction would call tomorrow on business hours. This was 3 days ago and still nothing. ON TOP OF ALL THIS FOLKS. THERE CHARGING **** A GALLON. HOLY SH##! We own the tanks at another 4 unit we own and the company we use there charges us **** a gallon. ********************** PLEASE EVERYONE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID!

We reached out to this customer and the issue has been resolved. The customer would still like to terminate service as they want to stay with current provider at other locations. The customer will be removing the fence enclosure and letting us know when to schedule the tank pick up. We wish them well with their new provider.

I will NEVER get propane from them! I just bought a house that had one of their propane tanks in the back yard. The previous owners purchased propane from Suburban and when they sold the house to me there was 30% left in the tank. Since it was paid for by the previous owners, and we bought the house from them, that would make that 30% of a tank OURS now...no, they (Suburban Propane) had the nerve to send a man to our house at 7:45am the next business day, without any prior notice, to lock it up so that I couldn't use it. But, they proceeded to let me know that it's $100/yr to have their tank stored in my yard. I would give a"-5" review if I could. Beware, they are ripping people off and reselling already paid for propane.

The propane in the tank was the property of the prior owners since they paid for it. Suburban issued them a refund for the amount paid, therefore, giving title of the propane back to Suburban. We are within our rights to lock a tank for safety reasons until a new user has signed a service agreement with us. We will remove our tank. We wish the customer well with their new ******************** service provider.

Called suburban propane about filling up my privately owned propane tank was quoted $3.03 a gallon plus a $99 inspection fee. Called them back the same day to fill my mothers propane tank which is a rental through suburban propane and was quoted $4.74 per gallon. Basically an up charge of $1.71 a gallon for using their rental tank which is a yearly fee. Thanks for being a loyal suburban propane customer. 10/19/22

Suburban Propane of ****** ** is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with! I called for service and completed paperwork on 4 October 2022. I was told a delivery was scheduled. On 7 October I tried to reach the service department to get a date and time of delivery. On 10 October I was told the delivery was scheduled for 18 October. I took the day off so they could have access to the basement for a check. On the morning of 18 October I called to get a time and was told by an employee" I don't know", and hung up. I waited all day and at 4:20pm called to see if they were coming. The employee had no idea of what I was talking about! I was put on hold and then was told by another employee it would be 2-4 weeks until they could deliver.Absolute incompetence at every level!I want to be reimbursed for my day off, but I won't hold my breath!!
