      I honestly cant stand this company. They are liars and they just take your money hoping youre stupid enough not to notice the outrageous prices!! When I moved into my place I called and have them the $500 deposit. Then told me that they couldnt get anyone out to unlock the meter until January. WTF? I have so much more to complain about! They are thrives! I have lived in NY for 17 years now. And I have NEVER have this much trouble with a company! And $5.70 a gallon I mean ?????????? they sent me a bill 12/15 stating I owe nothing. Then they sent me a bill 1/3 stating I owe $623 bucks. I called and complained and asked questions so I could try to wrap my head around with how they run a business. A few calls later and I dont owe $623 I actually owe $127. Im frustrated even writing this! Suburban Propane is the worst! And I dont think they deserve any stars but I have to choose! ??

      Suburban propane was put in our name in September 2022. They are saying we owe them for 102 gallons that was accidentally put in the tank in August. They Cut us off an now say we have to pay a reconnect fee, and pay for the propane that we never ordered. There business practices are as bad as there service. They shouldn't have someone like ****** be in charge of their costumer relations. Very unprofessional. The service technician didn't knock on the door he just walked in like he owned the place, FYI he doesn't. When they shut it off they blew the motherboard and they couldn't get it to reignite, the technician was going to leave us without heat and just leave. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Run away as fast as you can.

      We had offered to pump the 105 gallons back out of the tank and off the customer's balance but the customer has now paid for the ******************** and has recently scheduled another delivery.

      I used them on last house and they were ok. Bought new house, called them to be set up on new quarterly service. They have not been out yet (2 weeks later) when they said they would be back by and I ran out of propane. No hot water for house of 6. They are trash and please call someone else

      After doing some research, we are somewhat confused. ************************ was our customer, our last delivery to him was in September 2022. There is no further information in the log regarding any deliveries after that time. ************************ was a COT customer, and appears to have sold that particular residence and moved. We have been contacted by the new owner and we have established service with them. We have no further mention of ************************ anywhere in our database (no new sub locations, no new account, etc.). This review appears to be outdated even though it was recently posted by the BBB.

      They automatically filled a tank on our property after we moved into our home. We never set up service with them. They just went onto our property and filled the tank then billed us for the propane. We couldnt resolve the issue and ended up paying for the gas and signing up for service to lower the cost. They refused to take the gas back out

      Our local manger spoke to the customer and he is claiming this was a ******************** review he left back in 2015 when he signed up with us. He is feigning knowledge of a new BBB complaint being filed as recently as 01/06/2023. He has no issues with Suburban Propane.

      Have a tank with a leaking fill valve,was told to notify them when the tank was empty,tank emptied 12 19 2022 ,notified ****** ** suburban propane 12 19 2022 with a promise of a call back,did not receive call,I called again **********,was promised to have problem resolved before ice storm coming later in the week,now five days later,sub zero degrees for 2 days,no gas and nobody will answer the phone

      We resolved this issue on 12/25 when we dispatched a driver to the residence. Our phones are available 24/7/365. Happy to always help any day or time of the year.

      Have been trying to call Suburban Propane for a delivery, and to ask why their pricing is so high but they don't care to answer their phones. They say on their website " Our customer support surpasses all with our 24/7/365 availability and **************** staff." Yet they now they have a message saying "your customer contact center is not available, call back later." (during normal business hours) When we moved in, there was a leased 120 gal tank for which we pay $65 a year. Our last delivery of 40 gallons cost $250, which was $6.25 per gallon. According to their website the current pricing is $7.25 per gallon. These prices are crazy, and customer service is non-existent. Do not use them.

      We contacted the customer directly. In response to her delivery, the driver had marked the delivery Path Blocked on two previous attempts. She did agree there may have been a vehicle in the way. As far as her price. We advised her that due to the fact that she only gets 40 60 gallons at a time twice a year, her minimal gallons are reflected in the price. We discussed options such as upsizing her tank and taking more gallons at a time. We also discussed the first fill price that other companies are quoting her. Customer was very understanding of the conversation and we did offer to match her previous delivery price of $6.25 and she was appreciative of that and placed an order. Customer is going to think about the options discussed and let us know.

      AWEFUL COMPANY. AWEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. PRICE GOUGING. IF YOU BUILT AN ENERGY EFFICIENT HOME, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY CHARGED ME 2X WHAT I AM NOW PAYING AT NEW COMPANY BECAUSE I AM QUOTE "LOW USAGE " 340 GALLONS PER YEAR. SO MUCH FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY. IF I LEFT WINDOWS OPEN IN THE WINTER IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO HEAT MY HOME!

      YOU ARE NOT TRUTHFUL. ALL COMPANIES DO NOT CHARGE FOR LOW USAGE. THE COMPANY I AM WITH NOW FSI IN ****************** DOES NOT CHARGE FOR LOW USAGE. YOU ARE DISCRIMINATING AGAINST THE ELDERLY WHO DO NOT USE AS MUCH AS FAMILIES AND DISCRIMINATING AGAINST PEOPLE WHO CONSERVE ENERGY IN A WORLD THAT IS ALL ABOUT CONSERVING. HONESTLY YOUR COMPANY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR FRAUD. I AM PAYING LESS THAN HALF PER YEAR.

      Got our initial fill up of propane for the hot tub which was not working. A few months later they said they delivered 5 gallons to the tank which was impossible since we never got the hot tub fixed. So it seems they are in the habit of defrauding their customers. If we had been using the hot tub I'm sure we would have just assumed that the 5 gallons were used but since we never used it we know this is not the case. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY we are sure they do this regularly to everyone. Trying to get the account zeroed out has been difficult and has yet to happen.

      Our local manager spoke to this customer and agreed to remove the charges. He sent the grandson, who claims to have called on numerous occasions, an email to discuss the matter, but we have not received any return calls or emails. If he wishes to discuss this further, he can return our calls or emails.

      Wow your company really needs to be trained on customer service. I have called to schedule my tank to be unlocked since August. After five no shows you finally show up. Your driver was really rude. Got my furnace running and just left no notice nothing. I call because my furnace wasn't working you guys refused to service it. Because I have garbage out on the porch. To be honest you can come get your tanks. You just lost over three thousand dollars of my money. Good luck staying in business.

      The reason the customer was shut off to begin with was due to a past due balance. The balance was paid on 11/28 and the tank was turned back on 12/1. For the no heat call we sent someone there and the home was not safe to go into due to cleanliness including animal f**** ******************** sent a letter informing them they needed to clean the place to make it safe for our employees to enter. Customer called very irate told us to remove our tanks. The tanks were removed on 12/6 and her account was terminated. We must be sure that our employees are safe when making deliveries.

      After 30 years as a customer. I find it hard to believe that it takes two months to have an additional tank installed. I reluctantly agreed to that date. The day came and when I called about the installation of the tank, I was told that I never scheduled it. The customer service person was unpleasant, rude, unprofessional and told me I was a liar, I have text messages and the name and phone number of the person I spoke to. Bottomline if you live in Schuylkill County ** I recommend that you find another supplier. I did. I wonder how many months, years, decades it will be before they pick up their tank.

      Customer was scheduled for a site evaluation on 10/13/2022. On 10/13/2022 the customer called in to reschedule his appointment and the next available was 12/5/2022 and he was dissatisfied with that date. In order to accommodate our customer, we completed the site evaluation through pictures.On 10/18/2022 our service coordination called the customer to schedule the work for 12/9 and had to leave a voicemail asking for a call back to confirm. The customer did not call to confirm the appointment and called on 12/12/2022, after the proposed date had passed. We picked up his tank on 12/19/2022.
