      They never provided the balloons for my enemy . They advise it will be delivered between 3 to 5 pm . I called at 5:20 pm , spoke to ***** supposedly a manager there and she advised that she couldnt help that the driver did not pick up . So she hired an Uber driver to drop off the balloons . Never showed up . This is ridiculous and very bad customer service. The event we t on with no balloons .

      I think Party City engages in ageism in their hiring process under the guise of research. At the end of filling out an application for employment, there's a survey that asks if the applicant is over the age of 40.

      Do NOT order online! You will NOT receive what you paid for nor a refund, or any help of any kind! We ordered our shipment of birthday supplies for our *************** birthday. We never received the package even though it was said to had been delivered. CLEARLY not to us!! The rep we got was not helpful at all nor did they care one bit we couldnt be receiving it. They offered no kind of help, sympathy of us being out $195. They refused to offer a reshipment or replacement, leaving us out $195 and not able to repurchase in time for my sons birthday this Saturday which is already enough embarrassment to admit! They have completely ruined his party, have taken our $195, and left us with no help. I cant believe a store I have shopped at for all their party decorations since age 1, would do this to us. If you must purchase from them, for the love of GOD only do it in store where they cannot take from you. We will never be purchasing from here again for their party stuff in the future and hate we have gave such an inconsiderate company our business for this long without knowing. Devastating is an understatement!!

      On May 3rd,2023 went to *************************************************** Party City location in lower Manhattan. I waited in line for 20 minutes with 15 - 20 customers who patiently waited to be checked out. A lady on the line commented there is one person at register helping people who ordered balloons taking a long time at register and it was obvious something was wrong and she needed help. Five additional customers wasn't happy with wait and stated same and was in agreement. An associate of store rudely yelled at a customer in front of the line waiting with her child. I observed employee intentionally disrespect customer(s) as she checked customer items out. I recorded employee to bring unprofessional mannerism to corporate attention. When it was my turn to check out, she verbally stated she was refusing service to me. Associate was not store manager to deny me of my purchase. On the line, we requested another register to be opened and for associate that was assisting customers for balloon orders only to have help. I was discriminated against by being denied to check out items by store associate. I was the only African American woman in line that was discriminated against on line. The other shoppers who were Indian and Caucasian who complained first were checked out. And I was discriminated against and wasn't. I came to party city to purchase items for my daughter's 11th birthday. Due to party city store associate unprofessionalism and disrespect. My purchase was denied and treatment I received was unacceptable. I've shopped at party city dozens of times. And this experience today was distasteful. I reported associate to corporate headquarters. Representative ****** stated I threatened coworkers which is false. When I approached register, associate verbally instructed coworker not to serve me. I do not deserve this treatment and by me being discriminated against was unacceptable.

      I came into the store 5 mins before closing when the manager ***** approached me and asked me did I need balloons and I stated yes, she said we cant do than because its closing time. I asked ***** where does it state in your policy that you refuse service before 8pm. When I confronted her about it, she realized she had no ground to stand on. I literally took less than 2 mins to pick it out, ***** approached me again and said its now 8pm so we cant do it. I looked at her like are you kidding me, I said its 7:57 I handed her the balloons she said and I quote go to the registers and pay for them RUDELY. Please keep in mind in front of my 7 year old. ***** blew them up, the associates were very kind, when ***** needed to go get more helium the associates apologize for her behavior and said she doesnt give good customer service. Im shocked at this point. Once my ballons are blow up she said have a good night but in such a condescending way. I lost my temper at this point and let her know she shouldnt be in customer service and how dare to have a title of a manager when her associates treat customers better than she does. Im asking for camera be review as this will show how rude this manager is. How can a company keep a manger like that on their team, especially in the times we live in now with businesses closing left and right.

      Party City Store #**** in *********, **. Missing balloon orders seems to be an issue at this location. After supporting this corporation for so long Im done. Your refund is great, but do they compensate you for the money you spent on the balloons they lost. Do yourself a favor and buy a tank to fill up your own balloons. Dont give this place business. I called Corporate, weeks later still no reply. It seems as if customer service doesnt matter now a day. They wont be around for long I with these Business practices. Never again!

      Hello, I bought 2 Costumes for my sons first Halloween , one so new born size and another one is bigger size in case that one of them wont fit . So the small one dont fit , and I started rerun online , then the email notified me that I can to bring it to store . I went to the store locates at ********************************************************. They dont take my return , and told me that their policy isnt accepting any. But the map shows that they will take it .then I called the customer service and asked for help , they lady told me its belong to the store policy . I asked then why it shows on the map if they dont take it for this location . Then she said once again , its depends on the store policy , I can return it by mail. Then I say I dont have a printer at home , she never never mention that I can ask help in the store to print the slip out for me . She answers you can go to any ***** location to pay to print it . So for returning , I have to purchase for printing and packaging then get refund .

      If I could give a 0 I would. I made a purchase for an in store pickup on 10/28/2022 at 3:30pm drove an hr after work to get my package since it said 2hr pickup. Get there my package wasnt there. They had no idea where my package was. **************** online was closed. Had to call the next day at 12pm to learn that my order was cancelled BUT money was taken out of my account. It was said order was canceled due to billing and card info not matching BUT the money was taken out. Now I have to wait for a refund from a canceled order that I didnt cancel. Now if Billing info didnt match how did the payment go through??? I will never shop with party city again. I ended up having to purchase my order in store. So I had to pay another 130 dollars to receive my items. Quality of costumes are horrible. My job inmate costumes was horrible, my daughter witch costume hat was broke, and my son ************************* costume the mask made ************************* look like he had a stroke smh!!! Horrible Horrible experience

      I will never ever purchase from partycity again. Not sure why you even thought it was okay to send a previous used, broken and missing piece item. Y'all were quick to accept a return and super friendly but now that you have the returned product, I'm having to jump thru hoops for a refund. Not pony that but I had to drive over an hour to find another one in store bc partycity.com wouldn't send a replacement. First and LAST time to ever deal with this company especially after reading reviews more! If I'm not refunded within 24hrs I'll be taking other action.

      I bought a costume and when I was checking out I said whats the return policy and the cashier said as long as you return it before Halloween youre good and I said perfect Ill probably come back today if it doesnt work - well guess what didnt work? So I immediately went back to party city to return it and I was told that I could only return it for merchandise credit. I said OK but thats not what your cashier told me, I would not have purchased this item had I known the actual return policy and he said Im sorry theres nothing I can do, so now I am sitting here, angry, because I am out $60. I would have never purchased this item had Ive been told the CORRECT return policy, you all need to train your cashiers especially during high-volume holiday seasons that there is a specific return policy that is for holiday merchandise, this is so unfair and I am so angry and I honestly dont know if I will ever shop at party city again. None of this was my fault and I feel extremely mislead by this company.
