      Definitely wont be buying nothing from Party City anymore. Yesterday I purchased a Halloween costume and other ideas from Party City. I went to the store to do a return or store credit because the items I purchased was too big. They told I couldnt do a return or store credit because they wasnt accepting a return or store credit on Halloween items, so basically Im spent 95 dollars and it was a wasted. Im soooo ****** off.

      I order two costumes online for same day delivery on 10/23/22. They did not deliver it. I called and nobody answered the phones. Monday I had my husband call and someone answered the phone and said they would Uber it later that day. I got a call around 230/3pm saying they were going to send it out. I told them nobody was home as I work 9-5pm. They said they would send it at 645pm. They called said system was down and they would send it Tuesday. Never did. I called and left a message no call back. Wednesday I sent my husband to pick them up. The sizes are wrong and they couldnt find one of the sizes in stock. Manager was very rude and nasty asking him why he keep calling the store, why he got an attitude that it was our fault they tried to send it and nobody was home. This was a lie. Plus the sizes were wrong. She then told him to get a costume and she would exchange it. He finds a traffics police costume around the same amount. She gave it to him and told him to take it and when he asked for receipt she told him he didnt need one. I tried to go exchange it for another costume on 34th street and they told me I could not because I dont have the receipt. Which also means it was never scanned into the system. So I was out of 35 dollars. I had to pay for a new costume. I wish I was there to get her name. She was so unprofessional. Had an attitude with my husband and then gonna tell him, dont I know you from somewhere and that he was being annoying. I reported her without her name. I hope party city takes this serious.

      I would give them zero stars if I could. ****** ** store is charging for helium-filled arches and filling them with air. The employee told me the cost of arch assembly is about $120 because it's a helium shortage. When I got arch, balloons were filled with air. The manager at the ****** store told me the arches are never filled with helium, even though it says on their website, and the cashier told me this to my face when I asked why it is so expensive. The cashier would not come out and confirm what he told me only lied through the store manager that he never told me it was a helium shortage, and that's why it was so expensive.

      wish I could rate zero stars. Waiting in check out line for twenty minutesonly 2 people on front of people, store was empty. I brought my own balloons to pay for them to get blown up regular size balloons nothing special and they told me they were busy. busy?? Man I wish that kind of busy is what I had at my job. The employees were more worried how many hours they had left before they got off and literally walked around like zombies they would not take care of me at all. I had to leave. So I called to talk to manager and they told me on the phone to come in it will just be a ten min waitnot even knowing I was just in there waiting in line and then getting told they couldnt help methis place was a joke, no one wants to work.

      Today, 08/10/2022 I visited Party City in ************* which is my normal choice because I live close to this location. I've never had an issue here before until this evening. My sister lives in *********** and came to this location to purchase bridal shower supplies for my bridal shower. We were in the store for ***** minutes. During our visit the current evening manager *****, was very unpleasant, unhelpful, and showed no customer service skills whatsoever. The first incident was in the aisle as we were shopping with our children she brushed pass us abruptly as if we were bothering her. The second time was when I was in an aisle alone with my daughter and she asked if I needed help finally. I said yes do you have this product that's listed on the shelf and she said no it's online only. This was odd because there was a space for it on the shelf. The third occurrence with this so called Manager was at check out. As we checked out the total was around $155, we gave the cashier ****** a gift card for purchase that has $300 on it. The cashier did not know how to process a gift card. She called for the manager *****. ***** came up with an irritated disposition and stated your gift card says invalid, as she read the back of the card. We asked if she could try again and she said that she would not, and told us she would put our items on hold and for us to come back in the morning and try again and that if it didn't work for them they could run a SALES AUDIT. Why would we need a sales audit of a gift card? We asked could she try typing in the numbers on the gift card and she stated she couldn't because it's and invalid card. With cranky crying children with us we gave up on the purchase and left. This was the biggest inconvenience for us due to us both working jobs that are 9-5 shifts and can't come to the store in the morning to even try again.

      If I could give no stars I would, Party City in ******* ** needs to be a little better at hiring staff. I dont complain but the way I was treated this morning was not okay. I was begging for one balloon to be blown up and the employee refused to blow one up because she was already behind on her orders. There was no one in the store.

      I was just looking over a receipt and found that at the end of your purchases they are charging each customer and extra 50 cents and it is unauthorized and stating it is going to someone **** as a donation. I called the Party City in ********** in the ** and they said this is every party city. Is this not against the law???? They have no info on a donation and we are being charged fraudulently. They need to issue refunds nationwide

      The location in *******, ** doesnt put hi-float in the balloons, even when you pay the extra money for it. This is now the second time my balloons have failed to last more than 10 hours. After the first time, I figured maybe they just forgot. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The second time, this is ridiculous and they lie to your face. And of course you cant call their corporate number for resolution because none of their phone numbers work. You cant ask the people who work at the location because they state hi-float was put into the balloons when I clearly saw it was not and my balloons fell 10 hours later. Not trustworthy or helpful at all.
