We received an invoice for $289 dated 3/21/2025. They are claiming that it's for our domain "*********************," but we do not and have never used their services. Our domain is owned by *********, which is owned by *******. Their invoice listed the due date as 5/6/2025. The invoice has a box for credit card authorization, and also lists a website to pay them: **************************.
After doing a quick ****** search, the BBB's profile for this "company" was the first result. I did some more searching and discovered that they have hundreds of complaints against them.Business Response

I received a letter from Domain Networks that looked like a domain renewal invoice for my business website.
It had an amount of $289 and looked like an official bill, but in small print it says it's a solicitation.
I paid the amount thinking it was a required renewal, only to realize it was for an unnecessary directory listing that I never asked for.
This is a deceptive practice, and I am requesting a full refund.Business Response

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out. We maintain a directory of the country's leading websites with an online marketing directory. The payment of $289 covers a full year of listing in our directory and is 100% optional.
As the customer made their payment in error, I have reached out to them via the email provided to obtain information so I can issue them the full purchase amount of $289.00.

I have been receiving annoying solicitations from these people for years. I have used the contact form on their website several times telling them to stop contacting me. I have already filed one other complaint on BBB, but they refused to comply with my demands to stop contacting me. I don't understand what is hard to comprehend about "DO NOT CONTACT ME", but they aren't getting the message. They need to immediately and permanently stop contacting me. Enough is enough already. "No" means NO, and "do not contact" means, guess what? DO NOT CONTACT.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I CLEARLY stated that the ONLY acceptable solution is to remove me from the marketing campaign and to NEVER contact me again. Giving me the same copy/paste remark as before and refusing to comply with my demand to cease the any and all solicitations is unacceptable. DO NOT SOLICIT ME AGAIN. NO means NO. I can't imagine how inappropriate this company is in a dark alleyway considering they believe "no" means "do it some more".

I have asked this company to stop contacting me, but they refuse to do so.
This company sends mailers that look like bills, and probably most people just pay them rather than pay attention to what the mailer says. This company borders on being scammers, and they should be forced to stop their deceptive "advertising".
I need them to never contact me again - I refuse to do business with them.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: This company sends letters that look like invoices which I am sure SCAM people into thinking they are actual bills. This company needs to STOP sending postal mail like this - it borders on mail fraud and will be dealt with accordingly.

This is the second time I am filing a complaint against this company because they have to date failed to make the promised refund.
For Reference, the previous Complaint File Number with BBB is Complaint #********. Please refer to that file for any additional information.
During the time I filed my initial complaint referenced above, I have, however, received an additional solicitation from them for a "RENEWAL" so it appears that they DO IN FACT HAVE MY CORRECT ADDRESS in which to use to submit the refund to.
This was received several weeks after the refund was promised.
In additional, I have left several messages with the local branch of the BBB - New Mexico, et. al., and have not received any communication back from them to date. No email, No letter, and No phone call.
I expect this matter to be resolved - PERIOD! I expect my refund, and I will continue to march this up the ladder until it is fully resolved to my satisfaction = Full refund of $289.00. Still waiting, and you will keep hearing from me until I receive it. I don't know how else to put it.
I will also upload the email chain again for your convenience, along with the photographs of the new solicitation received.
Once again, i look forward to earliest action regarding this matter.Business Response

Hello,
Thak you for reaching out. I understand the customers frustration. We had unforeseen circumstances come up with a hurricane where our office was. We had to reissue all refunds due to these circumstances. The customer's refund has been reissued, and they will receive it soon.

Every year, at least once a year, I receive an unsolicited mailing from this company that is designed to look as though I need to pay them around $300 in order for them to host my "annual website domain listing." First and foremost, I do not need or care about having my domain listed somewhere.....simply do not care in the slightest. Second, each time I receive one of these letters, I file a complaint with the BBB; at this point, I have filed several. Third, this company is perpetrating a scam and attempting to commit fraud. How many times do I need to demand that these complete moronic idiots STOP SENDING ME THESE INSOLICETED FRAUDULENT MAILINGS?Business Response
