I want my refund! This company's deceptive business practices of sending solicitations that appear to be a legitimate invoice needs to be put to a stop! BBB can access the attached document for the full description of the issue at hand. I have uploaded the email correspondence between us, and have given them sufficient time to respond. I want my refund of $289 processed immediately, as promised, without further delay.Business Response

I will not consider this case closed until I have actually received the refund payment AND it has cleared the business bank account. Domain Networks has been promising to issue a refund for over a month, but it has yet to be received.
I only accept this resolution based upon that criteria -- the refund payment must be received.

I am part of a student club at a university and this is my first time handling club finances. I thought that this payment was to renew our annual website domain and did not want to lose our website, so I mistakenly paid the $289 amount today (10/18/24). I did not understand what I was actually paying for and am requesting a refund.Business Response

domainnetworks.com sent a scam direct mailer to my wife's business. The mailer is visually designed to look like an invoice for a service that has already been purchased in order to trick people into thinking they owe something to domainnetworks.com when in reality they do not. I bought my wife's domain through GoDaddy and have never interacted with domainnetworks.com before. They are hoping to use the visual design of this mailer to trick less vigilant people into sending payment. It's disgusting and they should be ashamed. They'll try to respond to this and say it's marketing for a service called "Website domain authority" but it's obvious when you see the mailer that they're trying to trick people.Initial Complaint

Back in May of 2024 I submitted a complaint against Domain Listings. Now I have received the exact same type of SPAM that actually looks like an invoice from Domain Networks. The ********* **** needs for this to stop. This company purposely uses different versions of their name and yet they provide no way to opt-out of receiving their spam. Whatever name they choose to use in the moment, I want them to stop sending their spam disguised as an invoice to our non-profit community center and church. You cannot call them and their DNC link does not work.Initial Complaint

Please be aware of the false advertising of this "bill". My company paid this by mistake thinking this was the annual fee we pay for our website listing. A day after paying, an email was sent requesting a refund. Hopefully this is taken care of quickly.Business Response

Our business has been receiving multiple solicitation letters from this company. We have requested they stop multiple times and have received no response. We want the company to agree to remove us from their mailing list, and to agree to never contact us again. We are avoiding any legal action as this is a simply stupid scam and just plain annoying. The letter makes it seem as if they are sending a bill when in fact they are soliciting a "service", which is to list your domain on a sire we, and no one we know, are aware ever existed. This scam is also listed on the NSA site as such. The ONLY appropriate response from this company will be a formal apology for the constant solicitation, and to provide proof that our domains, and business contact information is or will be permanently removed from their system, and they agree to never contact us about ANY service, listing, domain, or otherwise. As a personal note to the business, these letters are pathetic and predatory. I'd suggest stopping and correcting your actions, as they can potentially carry legal recourse if someone so desired.Business Response

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out. The letter they received is NOT an invoice but rather an offer to join our online directory and you are not obligated to pay. The letter is part of a marketing campaign for our service. We ARE NOT a domain holder; we maintain a directory of the country's leading websites. The payment of $289 covers a full year of listing in our directory and is 100% optional, as it states on the letter.
Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because: The company provided a generic response that is used for other complaints, we do not feel this company cares to professionally respond to our request to remove us from any further solicitation. Until a professional response is made that answers and responds to our specific complaint, we will reject any further generic responses.

**** **** House is a small nonprofit, a social service agency serving adults with mental illnesses. I recently handed over responsibility for paying bills to another staff person here. Every year we got scams from Domain Networks (and "Domain Listings" of Las Vegas) designed to look like something we needed to pay in order to protect our website. I always threw these away, but the new employee handling the checkbook did not understand the scam, and sent a payment, our check 1956. I discovered this when I just did month-end accounting. The check he wrote (8/16) has already cleared (8/23) so I cannot stop payment. We want a refund.Business Response

I was emailed by info@domainnetworks last September 9th telling me it was time to renew my domain. I thought it was legit so I followed the link to their website where they asked for my email and domain name as well as a code number that was optional. They then prompted me to put my billing address as well as my payment info where I put my card information. They then charged me $289 for it. They did the same thing this March 31st making the total they scammed me out of $578.Business Response
