    I was minutes away from boarding a flight on Allegiant on May 18, 2023. The plane was sitting there and we were all lined up waiting to board the aircraft when Allegiant canceled the flight literally a few minutes before our scheduled departure due to being short one flight attendant. We were promised a full refund to our credit card for the flight, which hasn't been refunded yet, a $150 voucher for this joke of an airline, and $200 for our troubles. Well, the email that would tell us how to get the $200 never came to my email, even though we were told it'd be there within 24 hours. The last flight we took on Allegiant got us to our destination 7 hours late which was not due to any weather conditions. It was a needed repair, then we got diverted to Provo, Utah, where we sat on the tarmac for two hours, then they had to get a new pilot on board because our pilot "timed out." There are always excuses as to why their flights are late or canceled. There's a reason their fares are so low. The low fares aren't worth the delays and cancellations. Nearly every time we've flown Allegiant, there's been a delay of at least an hour. This cancellation at the last minute was the last straw. Due to their excessive delays, last minute flight cancellations, and not following through on their promises for compensation, we will no longer book through this airline. It's obvious why they have received an F from the Better Business Bureau. Their service, or lack of, is horrible and they don't give the compensation they promise when they cancel your flight.

    I purchased a flight bundle with Allegiant which included trip flex. I had to change my flight home and was charged for the changes. The trip flex is advertised as allowing one flight change or cancelation. Any others would require additional fees. I emailed the company about the charges. I used the chat feature after 6 weeks of waiting for an email response. I had a very rude agent, Shaynel, that said if I used the trip flex, I had broken my bundle and would either be required to pay for the change fees or purchase another trip flex. I tried explaining that I understood the trip flex to be part of the bundle I paid for and even in the terms and conditions she sent me, it states change and cancelation fees do not apply to any itinerary which includes trip flex (limited to one use). I was confused and the explanations were not making sense. She just kept saying they were in the terms and conditions. I asked for a supervisor and she said that the department she works in, customer relations, handles escalated requests. She said they are fully empowered to make exceptions while still upholding their terms and conditions. She said they emphasized with my request but after the matter had been reviewed in full (a whole 10 minutes), an alternate solution could not be met. She apparently can make exceptions and the wording of her statement indicated she wouldn't in my situation and wouldn't allow me to speak to a supervisor. I've never heard of a company that won't allow you to speak with a supervisor and I've worked in custom service for years. The whole bundle sounds like a scam. Seems like you are saving money but there are more hidden fees on what is advertised as being included. I don't recommend Allegiant for their lack of communication, terrible customer service and hidden fees. They lost a customer.

    I have flown Allegiant many times without issues at a great price. My last trip wasn't so good though. I was at the gate ready to depart but no one from Allegiant was at the gate. I found out the plane was delayed to the next day from the app. No one could tell me why it was delayed. The next day it was delayed again a few times and finally departed 23 hours later. Still, no one at the gate or at the ticket counter was ever able to tell me why it was delayed. No meal voucher, no hotel voucher, not even a shuttle voucher. What was really frustrating was that they changed the departure gate but didn't update the app or the displays at the airport or at the old gate! I almost missed it. Emails to the Allegiant Air customer service a few days later produced nothing. So, it's a low price but not without risk. It also appears that they will not compensate you at all even if it's their fault for the delay.

    I like the airline, had good flights, on time . However, Agent stole funds from me as he booked a rental car for our upcoming flight. He charged me a deposit & returned it when I canceled the car. But he also charged me for the rental of the car. I am in the process of fighting the charge for rental of the car I did not use and have canceled.

    Allegiant didn’t put our luggage on the plane to vegas, promised to fed ex it to us in las vegas the next day. Never sent the luggage, no one answers the phone at Cincinnati ky airline. We still don’t have our luggage or any reimbursement. We have called and emailed several times

    I booked online through their app and when I got to the end it said the airfare had changed. I had to enter all the info a second time and the fare had gone up by $25. Seems very unethical to change the fare during the process of booking once they show you the fare. Discount air for sure.

    We were not able to make it to Florida and our cruise port by no fault of our own due to multiple delays, mechanical issues, and "legal issues" with crew members on our departing Allegiant flight and, as a result, missed our 12 day Royal Caribbean cruise. We booked Allegiant flight #2125 leaving ATW on Sun. 4/9/23 @ 5:38pm (CST) and arriving at FLL Ft. Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport on Sun. 4/9 @ 9:53pm (EST). Shortly after arriving at ATW on Sun. 4/9 we learned that the flight was delayed by 2 hours. The plane arrived around 7:45pm and we were boarded about 20 minutes later. After sitting on the plane for 30 minutes the pilot came on and said that the maintenance team was working on repairing a valve and would give us an update in approx. 30 min. After 45 minutes the pilot said the crew needed to do another repair in the cabin and that they were also waiting on approval from their Las Vegas office to take off due to “legal issues” with a crew member. After 25 minutes the pilot said that they were not allowed to take off and the flight was canceled for that night. It was rescheduled for 9:00am on Mon. 4/10 and they sent us home. The airline staff assured us that the mechanical issues were fixed, and that it was only an issue of crew overtime hours and that the flight would leave at 9:00am on Mon. 4/10. We arrived at the airport at 6:45am on Mon. 4/10. The flight was then delayed 4 more times and didn’t leave until 1:03pm CST, arriving at FLL @ 5:53pm EST. The latest we could board the ship was 2:30pm and it left at 4:00pm so we had to cancel our 12 day cruise with Royal Caribbean. One of the managers at ATW stated to the passengers of this flight on Monday morning, after we learned of yet ANOTHER delay, that they should have never even put us on that plane Sunday night because they KNEW they could not leave. This information was NOT shared with us on Sunday night. She also said that the plane/crew RETURNED TO Ft. Lauderdale Sunday night. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

    Even with over an hour delay plane was filthy food on the seats and floor obviously hasn't been cleaned in awhile. Horrible horrible airline. Fly with any other airline. Worst 2 flights I have ever had

    3 STRIKES YOUR OUT ! I can’t say this enough but do not book this airliner !! This is literally the third time this has happened to me on allegiant! Twice around thanksgiving the before flight was canceled then rebooked another day literally cutting my vacation in half and then the flight home was booked and canceled the day of leaving no options for flights out and now at Easter ! Worst airline in business, the cost of these flights are tempting but trust me don’t do it, especially around any types of holidays ! They will cancel you and leave you stranded without a way home without any options it’s pretty astonishing they still have any type of business. After calling the help line the operator is not only unhelpful but didn’t even have any options for resolutions. After giving the ticket information they leave you on hold for 20 minutes only to come back and not have a resolution, no refund just a credit to fly their terrible airline again such a scam, I’m literally blown away by their poor service and this seems to be a huge issue amongst all reviews I’ve read about them …. Never again !
