They cancelled my flight today and after nearly an hour in the phone waiting and asking for help to get me home they ended the call on me. They left me stranded in a different state with no further compensation except a refund on the cheapest flight despite having their tripflex.

Had a prepaid checked bag on my reservation. The night before the flight, the website goes down and I had to try several times to check in. Finally it checks me in and I have an email confirmation that shows my checked bag. On the return flight the next morning, I get to the counter at the airport to check my bag in and the attendant says no bag appears even though I show him my email. He thinks it's odd but says he has to charge me the $75 and will give me a receipt so I can call customer service to get a refund. Well that is the kiss of death. Allegiant customer service is the WORST. I call after my flight and the first agent tells me I'm wrong and I deleted my own bag from my reservation (didn't happen by the way. I'm in my 20's and fly all the time. I know how checking in works). She sends me an email to show me 0 checked bags, but instead, it showed 2 checked bags haha. I point it out to her and she dismisses it. I ask for a manager and she refuses and tells me there will be no refund. She hangs up on me. I call again and it was the same garbage. This is unbelievable. I was penalized even though I purchased my bag early. Never had such terrible customer service in my life and I have flown all over the world. Astonishing actually. Horrible business. Avoid at all costs. Literal theft.

They do not honor travel vouchers and their customer service hangs up on you when you ask more questions or for alternatives to get your voucher applied or money back.

On October 11, 2024, I was trying to travel from Stockton, CA (SCK) to Phoenix, AZ (PHX) with a trained service animal. On this day I was approached by airline employee by the name Rashma who is a supervisor with Allegiant Airlines located at the SCK airport. At this moment Ms. Rashma asked me if my dog was a registered service, in which I provided her all-required documentation to show that I was traveling with a service animal. Ms. Rashma then proceeded to deny me passage to PHX stating I cannot go on the flight with my trained animal. I never experience such level of discrimination from an airport staff member

I have flown Allegiant Air several times and did not have a complaint until lately. I booked a flight to FL back in February 2024 and it was set for Nov 4th, 2024 but due to some changes in the place where I was going to stay I decided to change the flight to a later that in December 2024 and I tried three times to change it and I got as for that choosing the sitting and it said there was message saying "error try again". I did not understand why it would not let me go any farther, I did this three times and got the same message, so to keep from losing all my money I decided to cancel it (the flight). Well when I did cancel they stated that I would be charged $94.00 and they would give me a $150.00 voucher to use for a later date. Well I thought it would be ok until I read the voucher and it states that it is good for 12 months from my original booking date (Feb 2024) which means I only have 4 months to use the voucher which is not RIGHT and should be illegal. I think the voucher should be valid from the date that you cancel your flight. This is just another why for them to keep the consumers money (stealing). I want Allegaint to change this voucher policy to 12 months from the cancellation date of my trip or send me a CASH refund in the amount of the voucher. Because what they are doing is not right.

One of worst if not worst airline. Have flown it about 10 times in last year. Mostly to Phoenix AZ. It has been late every time. Anywhere from 20 minutes or more. Most of the time were never told the reason and when they did it was for non mechanical reasons, like broken tray. Unbelievable. If I could, I would give them half a star. They totally suck.

    No refund airline !!!
    Allegiant and uplift scam
I purchased my ticket and cancelled same day I used uplift to pay as my option. Called uplift and let them know and the rep said I was all set. A month later uplift is trying to charge my debit card so I called and explained they said they couldn’t do anything I needed to call Allegiant and have them refund.
Allegiant said I couldn’t get a refund because they are not a refund airline or couldn’t give me credit. So now I have to pay for a ticket / trip never used!!!
These people are stealing peoples money!!!

Their BOGO airfare is a scam. Although you do get a free ticket you are forced to buy 4 nights at a hotel or 7 day car rental. The money you save from the free ticket is severely diminished or gone because they charge more for the car rental than booking directly with the car rental company directly. Nothing more than a bait and switch.

I see this flight doesn't like following the new FAA LAWS about delays. every previous review is spot on only with mine I called to get my flight credited. the company was unaware of such law and only offered a 12-food voucher. The bag lady even tried to charge me 10 because I didn't pre check in on a flight delayed 5 hours. Then when I escalated literally the service rep replied back the manager refuses to talk to you. You can't even make this up. What a horrible company. I will be taking this matter to the DOT RIGHT AWAY

You offered an affordable plane ticket. I had a personal item and carry-on that I paid for but was forced at Mid America Airport in Belleville to "upgrade" to check bag at the desk. I was charged $75 for the "upgrade" despite my paying for having a carry-on. I requested that funds that I already paid for my carry-on be applied to the check bag upgrade, which the attendant said I could not do. Based on what I spent, let alone driving 30 minutes to Mid America Airport and these last-minute upgrades because my carry-on had wheels, I could have paid for a better flight with a better airline. I will not be flying Allegiant and denigrate its name if anyone were ever to entertain the thought of flying on your airline. I will suggest other airlines or perhaps another form of transportation before I would ever suggest flying Allegiant Airlines. Your company stole my money and time because of imovable standards that I have not experienced anywhere else. I also purchased a ticket for 3A exit seat. After sitting down, my knees were cramped along the airplane door that I purchased with the specific intent of having more leg room. The fly attendants were also sitting infront of me so I did get the space that I actually needed on the plane as well as spent more money to receive. You can improve by acknowledging these inconsistencies in your offers and practices by refunding my money for a terrible checking and flight experience. I will be notifying the Better Business Bureau and adding this response to any all reviews on ****** and anywhere else so that no other person has to experience what I experienced.
