The website offers to provide a certificate to assist in obtaining a Concealed carry permit for other states. You take a quiz and the certificate is useless. They do not clearly state you are just paying $108 for nothing. I attempted to contact them and the staff acknowledges it is a scam but refuses to provide refund.Business Response

This is not your concealed carry permit. That would be illegal. This is, however, valuable education necessary to safely carry a weapon concealed. We have thousands of happy and certified members. It is the responsibility of the consumer (yourself) to research and become familiar with your State and County Concealed Carry Rules,Qualifications and Laws. This process is explained both in writing and in video on the home page.

On Sunday, 10/16/2022, I decided to apply for another concealed carry permit (I had had one once before and let it lapse.) It's been many years since I applied for the first one, and when I came onto the US Concealed Online website it appeared to be the same as the one I had previously experienced. Being trusting, excited and elderly, the screens that allow you to proceed make no open declaration as to who they are and what they are about, and it leads with a paragraph that is titled "Legal Conceal Carry in ********" that gave me the impression I was in the right place. It even states "If you live in ** and want to conceal carry in 35 other states, our certificate is perfect for you!" Unfortunately, there was a fine print disclaimer if you scroll down, but I didn't think to do that.After going through the instruction and quiz process, it says "Congratualtions", and the amount, and after you enter your credit card, THEN...you get to print a Worthless Certificate, and THEN, they put in large print that it is worthless other than to put it in your file. I called them immediately, but they said they were not open, soI called this morning. The customer service lady said she could not do anything to stop the charges, and passed me to another lady. This lady proceeded to tell me that I had paid for a in-person course, and that she could schedule me for an in person course, either in ******** or ** Beach. I told her "No" I couldn't travel, and that I just wanted them to refund the charges or cancel them if they had not gone through. She said that they had a "No Refund" Policy, but that she could provide me with a restaurant "Dining Card" for the amount ($109.99). I told her I was not interested because I do not go out to dine, and that I just wanted the charge cancelled --- that her "policy" was NOT a Law, and that she Could refund my money. I shamed her for being a party to such a company. My CC Co. said they have to wait for the chg to go through.Business Response

Dear ******, you signed up for our in-person training class through our website. Our website states the necessary steps that you will need to complete after signing up. The website states, Step 1: Complete your instructional requirements by watching our short instructional video for free. Step 2: Pass our ********************************************************************************************************** person training with live fire training. Step 3: After you complete the qualification test, we will outline the next steps necessary to secure your concealed carry permit. As you can see step 1 lets you know that you are not paying for the video. step 2 the website makes it clear that you will need to schedule your in-person class with live fire training. We strive to maintain transparency and provide clear information about our services. October 10 2022 I accidentally purchased a online pistol course in the amount of $136.76 after finding out I had to go to a live firing range to recieve my certification I decided to cancel my order and get refunded my full amount of money back and the lady stated that I could only recieve partial payment which is $40.00 so this is my complaint I want my full refund backBusiness Response

Conceal coalition company charge me $162.18, $19.99, and $9.99 for a class that they said I enrolled in and completed and a certificate was sent out to me for a gun permit. I went to ******************* in the county I live in and get my gun permit. I never gave these people consent to charge my account. I never spoke with them. I dont even know how they got my information but I had to cancel my debit card because of them hacking my account. This company is nothing but a total scam and they have several different phone numbers listed for them but the actual phone number is **************. I recently was looking into and signed up for a concealed carry class (well in advance) I paid for the class and immediately rechecked the date. I will not be in town for that Saturday. Before even attempting to do anything I checked the rescheduling and return policy and it states: if you call to reschedule between 24 - 72 hours before the day of your class, you will be charged a $35 rescheduling fee. However, if you do not notify us prior to 24 hours, do not show up or miss your elected class, it is not refundable, and you will have to pay full price to attend the class.Which if fine because 1) I am addressing this well in advance and 2) I am not looking to reschedule I just want a refund. Looking a little further it talking about a class being non refundable IF YOU DO THE ONLINE COURSE. Which I have not sighed up for. I paid for in person. I emailed to cancel the class for a refund, they successfully canceled the class then sent me a hotline number. I called the number and the lady said it was stated on the refund and page to which I told her it only says online courses and she proceeded to tell me I am wrong. 10/10 worst experience with a well established company. Their website is spam, after I put in my email address I immediately received multiple spam emails from them. On the other hand, their website shows little information if not nothing for the *** class I am interested in. So I clicked on a few more pages, where I need to pay close attention to deselecting multiple items that are going to over charge me. Finally I thought I was going to get the detailed information of the class, but they charged me without any indication of "submit order" that you will see in practically any normal websites.I immediately emailed them and asked kindly to refund my money, twice, and each time they refused. Their website is wicked, it is designed to charge you without your permission. If you do not pay too much attention, it will charge you for other garbage items they are selling as well. And after that they will bomb your email account with many spams. Now I think of it. since they designed their wicked website specifically, of course they will not refund your money even if you'd like to cancel it immediately after they charge it. I feel bad to see such a company exists for the *** class business. I hope other people can avoid it. There are so many other places that offer much more classes with detailed instructions and they provide it at cheaper prices.Business Response

But have to pay for both... and the say it is non refundable...the class is October 8 2022 and they can't refund it...why??? They should refund my money because the class is in October...it is fraud when no service is done and they can't refund my money only minutes after I signed up and found out I have to take both classes...for ************ and for the 2 other states.there should be no Business that work that way...they should have one price for $99.98 and NOT ***** for ND and ***** for the 2 other states...a person has no choice if you only want one and not both classes. I paid for a misleading service from this company. They trick you into thinking you are able to have your concealed carry training done online to save time with attending the 8hr class and go straight to live fire training. This is not the case in ************** which is clearly listed as a state that allows portions of training online. This is false advertising and I want a refund. I still have to attend the 8 hour class and then do my live fire training here in **. They don't tell you this until you give them money to purchase a bogus certificate that means nothing. I am rejecting this response because: you clearly make it seem like all you have to do is pay for the video. None of that information is upfront where consumers, such as myself, are able to see in plain writing. Not until you purchase the video and watch it are confronted with the information, via email, about my state requiring the exact same class I just paid for but me having to attend class in person. You then offer help finding the class. You know that you are practicing deceitful business and you can see by the many bad reviews of people with my same issue. All I want is my money back. I will make it a priority to spread the word in the firearm community of your deceitful and misleading business practices otherwise.

Each state has different requirements for their Concealed Carry permitting. ************** is a state that does require 8 hours of In Person training as well as Live Fire. Attached are two screen shots from our website which states that it is the responsibility of the student to research their states laws and requirements regarding concealed carry. Every page of our website has this information given on it. Regardless of the business that you choose to purchase your training from, you will have to submit your signed certification from your education trainer as well as your live fire instructor. I received a phone call stating they saw Inquired about the class. I gave my credit card information over the phone in the amount of $161.81 which was a big mistake. My mom started looking at the reviews and the process and it is not what i intended. I called to get a refund but they refused to refund my money. I am taking a local class here in my hometown for way cheaper. Please see what you can do to get my refund.This site is a joke.Business Response
