Saw an ad that you could "obtain a concealed carry permit "100%" online. Went through the process and then discovered that you have to attend a class in person. The nearest available class is located 2 hours away. I called the company the next day and was told there is no refund.Business Response

We make it a point to be known for our **************** and would like to resolve this situation as soon as possible.We have a very strict No Refund Policy that is posted on our site. In addition to certification you must also complete your Live Fire Training. Unfortunately, we do not have instructors available in every city of every state to complete your Live Fire Training. When you contacted our **************** Specialist you made her aware that you were contacting your bank to dispute the charges. It is also the policy of Concealed Coalition to not issue a refund if the customer has stated that they will dispute the charges with their bank. This documented internal process is for the benefit of our customers and alleviates the burden of a refund being issued twice. I have checked your order and see that you had your bank issue a Chargeback on February 28th, 2023. The Chargeback was granted and you were refunded the entire amount on that date. We considered this issue as CLOSED.

Misleading *** ************ is based in ******, and offers concealed gun certificates in ******* online, wich is Not True. After a video, 10 simple questions they ask for money for shipping, and holder, etc. Once you made your payment, a large statement pop up saying "we are not affiliated to *******, we don't provide concealed gun permits in *******, this is only an online class to help you for your future clases, etc". It's pure misleading AD and you can't find out until the very end. Contact me for my refund.Business Response

As our **************** Agent explained when you called in, we have a very strict No Refund Policy that is posted on our site. This is not your concealed carry permit. That would be illegal. This is, however, valuable education necessary to safely carry a weapon concealed. We have thousands of happy and certified members. It is the responsibility of the consumer (yourself) to research and become familiar with your State and County Concealed Carry Rules, Qualifications and Laws. This process is explained both in writing and in video on the home page. In addition to certification, you must also complete your Live Fire Training. Unfortunately, we do not have instructors available in every city of every state to complete your Live Fire Training. When you contacted our **************** Specialist you made her aware that you were contacting your bank to dispute the charges. Concealed Carry Online engages in deceptive practice. The website steers the user to other websites with no affiliation to their business' after payment is received. I am requesting a refund for 2 people for a CCW class that I did not attend and canceled 25 days before the class was scheduled. Here is a summary of events that took place and their responses to me:On November 3, 2022, I signed up for 2 people to attend a January 21, 2023 CCW class in ******, **. Payment was made at that time. Attached is the email registration and proof of payment.On December 27, 2022, I realized my husband was going to be out of town on a business trip. So, I notified them via email that I needed to reschedule. They responded that their next class wasn't until Feb 18, 2023, which is also a conflict with my schedule. Since my CCW expires in March 2023, I canceled my purchase (as opposed to rescheduling) as their class schedule couldn't accommodate my schedule.I emailed them on January 25, 2023 asking about my refund and got a response about charges if I had canceled within 72 hours of class which doesn't apply to me since I gave them sufficient notice of cancellation. Next, I called on January 25, 2023 and asked about a refund. I was told they dont do refunds only reschedules and they transferred me to someone that tried to reschedule the class. As I stated, I cannot attend their next class and my CCW will then be expired in March. I declined the reschedule and informed them that I would be pursuing other avenues to obtain my refund.I am seeking a refund for a service that they never provided to me. I have since scheduled with another provider, so I do not wish to take a class with them at this point. Particularly now that i have seen how they handle business. 1/19/23 I googled info to renew my *** pistol permit. I connected with their site and thought I was renewing my pistol permit. I filled out the info and submitted my credit card info.I was charged $274.98 After looking at the receipt they sent I realized this was not to renew my permit and immediately called them to tell them of my mistake and asked that they refund my money to my credit card.They said there was NO refunds but they would send an E- certificate for $100 for a restaurant.I just want my money refunded to my credit card.I called my credit card Co. Immediately upon realizing my mistake and they couldn't do anything as it was already processed. As our **************** Agent explained when you called in, we have a very strict No Refund Policy that is posted on our site. Unfortunately, we do not offer Concealed Carry Renewal Certification. When you called in requesting a refund, we offered and you accepted a $100 e-gift card. At that point we considered this matter closed.
As resident of the ***************** I am sure that you are aware of the recent changes for Concealed License in your state. I would suggest contacting your local municipality to determine whether or not they will accept a renewal of your license. If you choose to pursue your license in your state, you have 1 year from the date of purchase to receive your certification through us.

On January 16th, 2023, I saw an advertisement on ******** by Country Wide Concealed, advertising a concealed carry permit course. There was a concealed carry course video in the ad picture displayed on ********. I clicked on the course and took their 5 part course. At the end, after taking their quiz and after going through the billing cycle I came to find out this was simply an online Informational course only and their certificate is worthless and has no association or benefit for obtaining my concealed carry permit in ************. I am still required to take an in classroom course along with completing a live fire training session to get my concealed carry permit in ************. The advertisement does not say anything about this in the top portion of their advertisement, where the course video is presented and offered. The advertisement is extremely misleading! After some research, I found a bunch of complaints on the Better Business Bureau site for this company, aka, Concealed Coalition. I then called and voiced my concern and was overtalked by a female, I had to cut her off in order to demand a full refund, she then sent me to a different department, I then spoke with a man, He was very abrupt and rude and stated they have a no refund policy. I let him know the ad is extremely misleading and demanded a refund, he again reiterated they have a no refund policy and stated "We won't do that" and hung up on me. I feel there should be a class action lawsuit against this company for misleading advertisement and theft. They took $135 from me without my fully inforned authorization and consent.Business Response

The transcripts and phone calls on your account were pulled and there are many inconsistencies in your BBB complaint. The ********************* does require In Person training as well as Live Fire. The footer of every page of our website contains the attached screenshot that clearly states "It is your responsibility to research and understand your local laws as it relates to handgun ownership and concealed carry." We have taken a great deal of time and energy to make our site as transparent as possible. We also take our compliance very seriously and hold ourselves to a standard well above the normal threshold. I have also attached a screenshot showing that we fully disclose that you "understand that to apply for the ************ Resident concealed carry permit, in person training and an application with additional required documents will need to be submitted by mail to the ****CWL." This statement is given prior to you entering any credit card information. There is no way for us to process a credit card payment without you entering your information and clicking Continue.
In addition, after your purchase, you called in to our **************** line to schedule your class with us and had no initial complaints. The following day you did call in to request a refund and were told of our no refund policy. You also threatened a chargeback with your bank as well as cussing at our **************** Agent. Upon investigation by our **************************** we found our agent to be pleasant, yet firm, in our position of no refund. It is our policy that once a chargeback is threatened that the agent no longer communicate with the customer. This is to prevent refunds from being processed twice - once internally by us and then again by the bank. Your bank did attempt a chargeback and which was ultimately found in our favor. It is also our policy that a **************** Agent is well within their rights to disconnect a call if the customer attempts to disrespect and cuss at them.

I was totally scammed out of 112. thinking honestly that this company was able to give me my concealed weapon permit online. It stated that ******* laws have changed, thanks to our governor. I went thru the questions for the permit , by the way I never received!!! They make you pay first , I paid $152.00 the whole thing is a big scam , its a fake piece of paper that says this is not a permit, which I photo shot , I called 10 minutes after I realized I was scammed and they said they could not refund me . I live in ********, with lots of gun stores and resources, I will be filing a lawsuit since they will not refund me , if anyone else wants to join in let me know !!plus all the phone numbers end up going to the same place , that gets you nowhere!! i have received the marketing information from this company several times in emails and decided on 12/30/22 to take the training course provided at a cost ($73.17) via the internet. My main issue in this situation is the semi-deceptive marketing of the product. The company strongly implies in their marketing information the training completion will result in the student receiving a concealed weapons carry (***) permit, when the training is simply a pistol safety training course and adds no benefit to applying for the *** permit in my *****************). A pre training query asks what state the person who is taking the training in lives in and at this point is should communicated this training is of No benefit in obtaining a *** permit in Washington and it is not. Therefore, in my opinion the marketing information and training are deceptive and it should be much more clearly communicated that the training completion will NOT result in obtaining a *** permit.Upon completing the course completion and after being billed via the credit information provided, it was communicated that i had completed a training course and i could take the certification needed for to my local law enforcement agency and apply for the *** permit. i then called the company, spoke with a representative to explain the my issues with this situation and was told they have a No Refund policy.In my opinion, the solution is for the company to clearly verbally communicate at the beginning of the training that this training is either needed, not needed or invalid in the state from which the person taking the training is applying for a *** permit in.Business Response
